My friend and I stayed at our first Mad Monkey and it’s definitely an experience. If you are looking to make friends, there’s so many fun activities every day to do. We played beer pong and did one of their dj parties. We also were pleasantly surprised with the free espresso martini. However, if you’re nursing a hangover this is not an ideal place because they start playing music in the morning and it doesn’t stop until maybe 11pm or midnight. Imagine you have need to sleep and you’re awaken by lady Gaga’s RAH RAH RAH AHAH at 9am. But the staff is really nice! And the food was good. We did get a lot of ants and flies in the room but I think many mid range hotels in Bali have the same problem. You also will see monkeys around which for us was a fun surprise.

Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und die Lage ist nahe dem Zentrum von Uluwatu. Ein Zimmer hat 6 Betten, allerdings gibt es kein Shampoo oder keinen Haartrockner. Es gibt einen Wohnbereich und einen Außenbereich zum Entspannen!

A beautiful hotel in Bali. The balcony won my love for this hotel. The hotel is a bit old but very comfortable. The wifi works well in the hotel. The room is spacious and comfortable. The staff working there were very polite and helpful. Always smiling and greeting you everyday. I would come back here and stay in this hotel again. Really enjoy it. The balcony and the traditional style doors are wonderful when the air is blowing. The hotel is located by many restaurants and shops. Lots of temples. Near the monkey sanctuary. The hotel does not have toiletries, come prepare with your own. Thank you again! Looking forward to seeing you again.

If I were to sum up my experience at dBeds Kuta Beach in a single word, it would be ”adequate.” Let's delve into the details: Air Conditioning: The air conditioning here falls under the category of ”not weak.” It's a relief from the sweltering Kuta heat, but don't expect to be transported to an Arctic tundra. In other words, it gets the job done without freezing your socks off. Breakfast: Ah, breakfast, the most important meal of the day they say. At dBeds Kuta Beach, it's provided, but I must confess, it left me rather unimpressed. If your taste buds yearn for culinary adventures, you might want to venture elsewhere. Location: Now, here's where dBeds truly shines. It sits comfortably close to Kuta Beach, a paradise for sun-seekers and surf enthusiasts. For beach lovers, this is a prime spot to set up camp. Accessibility: Finding the hotel is as easy as pie, which, in this case, is a positive thing. After all, who wants to engage in a frustrating treasure hunt when you're weary from travel? dBeds Kuta Beach offers great value in terms of convenience. Cleanliness: Unfortunately, dBeds has a bit of a cleanliness issue. Nobody likes unexpected guests, especially the roach I encountered in the bathroom. Dirty towels are another point of concern. If cleanliness is high on your priority list, this might give you pause.

Mir gefiel es hier, es war sehr ruhig und entspannend. Ich wurde dann aber in ein ähnliches Hotel verlegt, wo es mehr Touristen und allerlei Lärm gab. Nachts konnte ich dort schlecht schlafen, tagsüber hingegen war es super, und die Dachterrasse im zweiten Stock war ideal für Yoga. Mir gefielen beide Hotels. Das erste bietet eine schöne Aussicht und mehr Platz.

Really amazing staff who tried their best in the face of some adversity. Bali is a special place where all the troubles and tribulations of every day life can instantly dissolve. Chill House is not perfect and the main problem is … age. It’s been around for ever with no real upgrades. Some guests will love this “old” ambiance but it’s not really for everyone … although rates are lower than other options. Plumbing and hot water were an issue in bathrooms but the staff were very happy and helpful to assist in making room changes. It’s truly a great experience for some but not so suitable for others. One strong point is the vegetation on the property is great and hides many flaws. The geckos are cute but not for everyone. Some will be agitated by this. As always, any issues we had were met with gracious smiles and efficient hospitality. The location is a couple of kilometers inland from the beach so it’s relatively quiet yet has some cool restaurants west of the hotel such as TYGR, one of my favorites. With ride hailing services such as Grab and Gojek, getting around is easier than ever. More regular training should be arranged for staff; they confused the bed cover ends so the bottom (the open part) was where the head should be. Frequently found hair from other guests on newly changed bed sheets.

Der Ort ist sehr schön, neben Reisfeldern, entfernt von der bustreichen Stadt und in der Nähe von vielen Wasserfällen. Die Umgebung ist daher super ruhig. Dieser Wohnraum hat 3 Zelte und 1 Zimmer (die eine mit Wänden auf den Fotos, die anderen 2 nicht verfügbar). Das Zimmer war sauber, obwohl in der Ecke und auf den Fenstern etwas getan werden konnte. Die Küche ist grundlegende und ermöglicht Ihnen einfache Mahlzeiten zu kochen. Ich war enttäuscht, dass der Schwimmbad trotz der attraktiven Fotos nicht zugänglich ist, weil es in einem privaten Bereich (wo die anderen 2 Zimmer sind). Nur das kleine Stück Gras und die Küche sind zugänglich. Darüber hinaus sind das Personal und der Besitzer freundlich und sehr verantwortlich, die einen sehr guten Service bieten.
