This hotel is perfectly situated between the Ollyantaytambo ruins and Pikuylluna. We were very comfortable at Parwa House. It was very clean and the gentleman at the front desk wasvery kind and very helpful. The breakfast in room by the garden was wonderful with fresh bread and fruit. The scrambled eggs were made perfectly. We would wish for less harmless, tiny bugs in our room. They are attracted to the white walls at night and disappear in the day. Also, a window cover in the shower would be a nice option (though all we it looked out to were trees). Small matters. Two of us didn’t know how to use the shower properly and had cold showers that was probably more our own fault 😂 than the hotel’s. Please note, you need to climb about 20 steep steps to get to the entrance off the main road. Backpacks are best to have (as opposed to suitcases). Ollyantaytambo is cobbled stoned, so I imagine almost all hotels are not suitcase friendly.

The Andino was a welcome respite after a long day of hiking the Inca Trail and exploring Machu Picchu. I was traveling with my son and found the rooms comfortable, but as others have mentioned, they are on the small side. We had a double and if there'd been a 3rd person, we would have been pretty cramped. The shower is nice, but the water didn't get very hot for us. The outstanding things about the Andino are the staff and the location. The staff were amazing. Helpful, gracious, and very friendly. They helped us with a number of restaurant locations, helped us find our way to the train station and other spots of note in Aguas Calientes. The Andino is also centrally located to the train station and the bus stops for those traveling to MP and out of AC. I would recommend the Andino to those looking for an ease of location and don't need a luxury hotel for the night.

Edith, the owner of the Bed and Breakfast, welcomed us very warmly and is a wonderful host. She attended to all our needs and gave us a nice, big room in her new building overlooking the river and sunset, which provided a calming background noise. The room was big and clean. There is hot water, but no heater in the room. Edith offered us a warm alpaca blanket instead, but it was warm enough in May. Breakfast was typical Peruvian scrambled eggs, local bread and homemade strawberry jam, with an extra nice touch of fruit salad on cereal. We would stay here again to explore the beautiful historic Ollantaytambo.

La habitación que nos toco daba a las vias del tren y a los restaurants que estan sobre las vias, con lo cual es bastante ruidosa ( cuando ingresamos, habia tapones para los oidos en la mesa de luz). El colchon zafaba, aunque parecia de agua de los huecos q tenia , y las toallas estaban muy roidas ( una de ellas directamente rota). La atención del personal fue lo mejor de todo Para gastar poca plata y zafar una noche en Aguas Calientes

Sayacmarca Inn was an absolute Gem for its price-point. I stayed here for two nights on a trip to visit Machu Pichu. One of the best parts of this place is its location. It is pretty centrally located in Aguas Calientes; only a short 100 m walk to the city plaza. As well as directly next to the bus station to Machu Pichu (the que for the bus is literally right outside). Close by is the Artesenal Market and Train station as well. Good for shopping for souvenirs and artesenal goods (alpaca scarves/sweaters, jewelry, stones, etc). All around this location are plenty of good restaurants and shops to eat/dine at. If you want a relaxing evening after a long day of travel or coming down from Machu Pichu I highly recommend a walk up to the hot springs (Aguas Calientes). The walk is only about 400 m away and worth it! Hotel room was very comfortable and homey with views of the river. Also very relaxing/soothing to sleep with the sounds of the river! Noted only downside is there wasnt a turn down service for fresh sheets or towells after each night. But if you ask for them they will get you some. This place comes with a complimentary breakfast with a pretty good spread from fresh tropical fruit, baked bread , yogurt, fresh squeezed juice, and some delicious scrambled eggs! Last the staff were very helpful and kind; even with the language barrier they were able to answer my questions and point me in the right direction for good shopping and places to eat (the locals inside view). Overall I would stay here again. Exceptional place for this pricepoint!!

+Das Hotel ist sauber und gut. +Die Bedienung ist sehr hilfsbereit. +Das Frühstück ist auch für Europäer fein und vielseitig. +Das grosse Gepäck konnte gratis für die dauer des Tracks abgegeben werden. -Einziger Minuspukt ist dass das Zimmer sehr ringhörg ist und man den Bach die ganze Zeit laut rauschen hört. Auf jeden Fall sehr empfehlenswert.

VVeraDas Hostel befindet sich in einer sehr komfortabelen Gegend, in der Nähe der Bahnhof und Bus. Das Rezeptionsgebiet kann verbessert werden. Zimmer, sehr komfortabel und sauber
Sie hatten einen Nachteil mit heißem Wasser, aber es wurde endlich gelöst. Sie trinken nicht mit dem Preis, Handtücher, was Sie in der Buchung klarmachen sollten. Aber wenn Sie sie vermieten. Das Personal, super freundlich, versuchte, alle Nachteilen zu lösen. Einiges zu bemerken, konnten wir nach dem Check-out die Gepäcktasche aufbewahren, während wir nach Machupicchu gingen und uns bereiteten, zum Frühstück zu nehmen. Auch, am Nachmittag, während wir warten, dass der Zug zurückkehrt, konnten wir die Handys laden.
