A great 5 night stay in the center of Hobart. It exceeded my expectations. Very comfortable clean rooms, good bedding and with good internet access. Importantly one of the few hotels in Hobart with its own parking. It is limited so you have to make reservations prior to your arrival , but then your place is guaranteed. The $20 charge is very reasonable and you can come and go as you please knowing that you will be able to park. The location is hard to beat an easy walk to restaurants , pubs, shops , constitution dock and the Salimanca markets. On top of this the staff were pretty special and made our stay very pleasant. I followed some of their recommendations and was not disappointed. Good coffee comes to mind from one helpful lady when I asked. A stay in the center of Hobart does not come cheap, but I found their price for a stay very acceptable in comparison to other hotels. A glowing report to say the least , but they surprised me with the quality of our stay and helped us very much enjoy Hobart. Thoroughly recommended. Would stay again in a shot when revisiting Hobart. Had a recent stay for 3 nights and found it really enjoyable. After a little confusion with parking the car due to street it is located on being a bus thoroughfare, valet parking was prompt and we found we didn't need to get car out again. Great location in the centre of town and easy walking to everything Hobart has to offer. Rooms were very clean, although a little small, bathroom was a generous size although water did flood floor when showering. Did have to order another pillow as ones in room were rock hard. Breakfast was very yummy and buffet option that was offered had more than enough to satisfy. Gym was small with just enough equipment to do a workout. The Chocolate Hour was a bit of a letdown, not what we expected, but still another point of difference. All in all, a really nice stay and we'll certainly wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Ein Hotel, in dem Muming lebte, das Zimmer war groß, es gab einen Kühlschrank darin, es gab viel Essen darin, alles wurde für den Verzehr bezahlt, und es war für mich schwierig, eine Flasche Milch zu kaufen. Das Hotel liegt ganz in der Nähe des Piers. Der Flughafenbus hat eine Haltestelle vor der Tür. Erkundigen Sie sich an der Rezeption nach der Abfahrtszeit. Es ist sehr praktisch, zum Flughafen zu eilen.

When you arrive at the Grand Chancellor you will find a tiny front drive that can fit about 4 cars, where you are supposed to be able to park, check in, and then move your car to their underground parking. However, this front drive is not monitored so when we arrived the driveway was completely full with no one there to direct us anywhere. We drove around the block to enter the underground parking and unloaded our bags which we had to carry up the stairs from the parking garage as there was no guest lift that we could easily find (good luck if you have trouble with stairs). At the bottom of the stairs there is a button that you can supposedly use to call someone to assist with your bags. We tried to use this and though we could hear the bell upstairs, it was not answered (even just to let us know that someone would come), so we gave up and carried our bags up the stairs. Upon arrival to the room, we noticed it was clearly very dated. We could see some effort had been made to update the rooms visually but the installations felt very half-****d. For instance instead of a shower curtain for the bath tub there was a half glass pane that is delightfully too short and instead bounces water off its side and onto the floor. A rainfall showerhead had also been installed but it seemed like an afterthought as it was crooked and had poor water pressure. We then tried to use the pool. Upon entry, I felt like I was taken back in time to the days of dark and damp fitness centers and unmaintained pool floors & furniture. There were no staff nearby and the entire area was a mess. Walking into the locker rooms was a shock with horrible banged up smelly lockers (many of which were open but had no key to lock it!) and awful grey blue shiny tiles that bounce the cold flickering white light around. The shared sauna between male and female locker rooms was also a joke. We left without even bothering to get changed or use the pool. We then attempted to dine at the restaurant in the hotel lobby. The host at the front asked if we had a reservation which we did not. He then looked around at the many empty tables as if he was not sure what to do and then asked us to ”wait outside” as he checked availability. We have never been asked to exit any restaurant whilst they searched for a table (even in much busier restaurants) and we were very frustrated by this request. We waited outside over 5 minutes and then decided to leave and ask the front desk staff for other local restaurant recommendations. As we were on our way out, we noticed the restaurant host was hovering nearby as if he had found us a table and was waiting for us to be done but we left without another look. Upon arriving back in our room after dinner and turning off the lights to sleep, we were graced with the hallway light streaming through the large cracks in the poorly fitted door. We had to stuff the cracks with towels, and then cover the strong blue light from the thermostat (which had no function to tur

Ein bisschen datiert. reserviert durch Qantas Hotels und irgendwie wurde aktualisiert. ( Kein beantragtes Zimmer verfügbar? nicht wissen.) Wasser Dusche Deluge Kopf ist groß. Viel Handtücherwaschmaschine usw. Die Körperwasch und Shampoo-Flaschen sind schütteln, klingt einfach nicht? Mattress sehr komfortable. Pick ein kleines Unternehmen für mich, aber ich hatte die Wahl von 5! Sie erhalten eine Kehle und das ist es. Kühlschrank öffnet einen Weg, Tafeltür öffnet sich umgekehrt. Nicht benutzerfreundlich. Mist Maske von Tassen. Kein Messer oder Fork. Ich musste für ein paar Nächte in der nächsten Woche buchen, aber es war eine zusätzliche 50 pro Nacht. Ich dachte, das war etwas unnötig für einen zurückkehrenden Kunden, der das gleiche Zimmer bucht. Wir hatten zwei windige Nächte und die Schleiftür Witween rattling war genug, um Sie wach zu halten. Dieses Hotel erfüllte alle unsere Bedürfnisse für die 3-Nacht-Reise nach Hobart. Ich würde hier nochmal bleiben. Es ist zentral für viele Dinge in der Stadt gelegen. Das Personal, das wir getroffen haben, war alle sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren sauber und komfortabel. Das Badezimmer ist klein, aber es ist nicht wie ein Ort, wo wir viel Zeit verbrachten, so dass es die Arbeit abgeschlossen. Meine beiden Vorschläge wären, im Badezimmer eine Schranke hinzuzufügen, wo man ihre Sachen anlegen und ein Überhobenlicht hinzufügen könnte, damit Sie das Licht ausschalten können, wenn Sie ins Zimmer kamen. Wenn Sie ein bescheidener Reisende sind, der nicht viel Frills oder Tonne Raum braucht, aber auf der Suche nach einem sauberen und gemütlichen Ort, um die Nacht zu verbringen, werden Sie es einfach wunderbar!

Fabelhaftes Zimmer. Großes und komfortabel mit einem massiven Badezimmer. Viel Zimmer, um Ihre Toiletten auszuwählen. Sehr komfortabeles Bett und Kissen. Wir hatten ein Eckeszimmer und würden das nochmal bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt beantragen. Frühstück in unserem Aufenthalt war eins der besten Buffet Frühstück, das wir hatten. Personalfreundlich und effizient. Kein Parkplatz vor Ort, sondern nur Valet Parkplatz verfügbar. Ausgezeichnete Aufenthalt.

Das Hotel ist strategisch günstig gelegen, hat aber eine lange Geschichte. Die Ausstattung im Zimmer ist veraltet. Das Bett ist schon zusammengeklappt. Die Klimaanlage ist dem Bett zugewandt. Werde in Zukunft nicht mehr buchen. Stellen Sie einfach ein Bild von einem Teppich ein!

The hotel was within a 5 minute walk to the city centre and directly across from the hospital. Front desk staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The rooms themselves were spacious and clean and our particular one had a bath tub with the shower over it. There is a cafe on site which provided value for money breakfast. Downfall is that it closes late morning. Unfortunately there are no other restaurants or bar and there is no room service.

Hobart City Apartments is located right in the downtown shopping district of the city. You don't stay there for the view, but you are in the thick of things and still only a 12 minute walk to the harbor for endless choices of restaurants, bars, cafes, etc. With notice and availability, they offer underground parking for $20.00 a night. Otherwise, there is night street parking and a couple of lots close by. Though this review focusses specifically on the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom penthouse apartment where we spent 6 nights, 3 of us first spent 1 night in two large single rooms, while awaiting availability of the Penthouse apartment. Each large room included a king bed, with end tables and lamps, a wall mounted TV, and a seating area, plus a good sized bathroom with large walk in shower. These 1 bedroom units include a small kitchen with a mini fridge, and stove top, microwave and dishwasher. Suffice to say that both the single units and the Penthouse we stayed in, are beautifully and relatively recently decorated, and very comfortable. The Penthouse apartments are large and feel quite new, like the single units. Similarly they are well appointed, and nicely decorated, with lots of light. The upstairs consists of one bedroom, with a king bed, end tables, table lamps and a wall mounted TV, plus an ensuite bathroom. The bedroom space is tight which of course, can't be helped, and so there's minimal drawer storage though enough if you plan it out well. There's a wide, deep ledge in front of the window, so one of us used that to lay out clothes, and toiletries, while the other used the shelves in the closet and though we needed more hangers, there was enough hanging space for 2 of us. The suites are relatively new so having what felt like new bathrooms was a bonus. The upstairs bathroom has no counter space but under counter storage, a large shower and it's well designed. There is no door at the top of the stairs into that bedroom/bathroom, so if privacy is an issue, be prepared. The main floor houses a small kitchen, with a microwave, full fridge and stove, flat cooktop, plus dishwasher and just enough plates, cups, glasses and utensils to get by. Don't plan on cooking a big meal though. It's best for breakfast, and serving up take-away. The adjacent living space had a large, 'pleather' (ie: looks like but isn't leather) couch and matching chair and the flat screen TV is mounted on the wall beneath a media unit, and across from the couch so it's a pleasant place to sit. Behind the occasional chair, is a small dining table, seating 6, then a sliding door, and screen out to a large but unfurnished patio. It would be nice to offer up 4 outdoor chairs and a couple of small side tables to enjoy a cocktail. The 2nd bedroom on the main floor, is larger than the upstairs, and houses a Queen size bed, end tables, with lights, and a closet. There is no TV in that room; something else they should add. The 2nd, large bathroom is across f
