We booked Bay Hotel Apartments for the on-site parking, and it was worth it. Driving in Hobart CBD can be stressful, but parking right at the hotel made everything easy. The apartment was simple, clean, and quiet with a comfortable bed. Nothing fancy, but perfect for 2 nights exploring Salamanca and the waterfront on foot.

GGastnutzerDas Hotel ist insgesamt schön, aber es ist vielleicht nicht sehr bequem, wenn Sie fahren. Die Straße vor dem Haupteingang ist beschränkt. Die Gäste müssen von hinten eintreten, die Treppen beinhaltet, und wir mussten unsere schweren Gepäck abbringen, was nicht sehr bequem war.
Auf der positiven Seite ist die Lage hervorragend sehr nahe dem Besucherzentrum und dem Hauptkaufsbereich, so dass es einfach zu Fuß zu erkunden.
Wir zahlen für den Parkplatz zu einem zusätzlichen Preis von A$39 pro Tag. Valet braucht Zeit, um unser Auto zu holen, so rufen Sie vorab das Front Desk um es zu beantragen.
Insgesamt ist ein gut gelegenes Hotel mit guter Service, aber der Zugang kann für Fahrer ein wenig schwierig sein.

The hotel is in central Hobart CBD,it is walking distance to almost everything including waterfront Salamanca,Battery Point etc.
There are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby all within a short walk.
The rooms are clean and modern,the hotel has a casual bar and restaurant plus a more formal restaurant.
Happy hour between 16:30 and 18:30 is a great time to have a drink in the lovely lounge area in comfortable sofas and armchairs near the large feature gas fireplace.
The staff are all friendly and efficient.
I couldn’t fault this hotel on anything,we stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was modern and very spacious.
Parking is onsite at $25 dollars per day which is pretty standard for the area,

They were attentive to our needs, offering personalized recommendations and assistance that enhanced our stay significantly.
One of the highlights of our mornings was breakfast at Peppina, the hotel's on-site restaurant. The breakfast menu featured a delightful array of options, from freshly baked pastries to hearty, made-to-order dishes. Each meal was prepared with care and presented beautifully, making it a pleasure to start our day. The atmosphere at Peppina was equally inviting, with a charming decor that complemented the delicious food, creating a perfect setting for a leisurely breakfast.
In the evenings, we enjoyed drinks at Mary Mary, another fantastic venue within the hotel. The bar had a vibrant yet relaxed ambiance, making it an ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The cocktail menu was impressive, featuring both classic favorites and innovative creations crafted by skilled mixologists. Each drink we ordered was expertly made and beautifully garnished, adding to the overall experience.
Overall, our stay at the Tasman Luxury Hotel was a true testament to hospitality at its finest. GGastnutzerAs an international brand, I don't think this Crown Palace is qualify during my staying experience. I'm checking in on 25th Dec, understand that is holiday so no other restaurants open so we decided to have dinner at The Core restaurants. We arrived at around 19:40 and finished order at 20:00, however the food just arrived after 40min after I chased at 20:35 even the 6pcs oysters. On 26th, I have ordered 2 bottles of water at around 00:00 for my kid before sleep, however it was not arrived until next day. I was just check out & back to hotel lobby (4/F) for toilet. And found a male staff going to female toilet for cleaning after me. I was shocked & scare so I come out and going to the unisex one. When I approached FO counter & mentioned I'm quite scare. But the female staff just told me that was normal and just simply appologize without any explanation. To be honest, that's really unacceptable & never come back.

AAnonymer BenutzerDie Erfahrung war ziemlich enttäuschend. Obwohl die Check-out-Zeit 11:00 Uhr war, schlug die Hausaufsicht um 9:30 Uhr auf die Tür und fragte, wann wir auschecken würden. Wir haben ihnen klar gesagt, es wäre 11:00 Uhr, aber sie kamen um 10:30 Uhr wieder zurück, um die gleiche Frage zu stellen, die unnötig und störend war.
Das WLAN war auch unbrauchbar. Es dauerte lange, nur zu versuchen, zu verbinden, und es funktionierte nicht überhaupt auf iPhones. Es wurde schließlich auf Android-Geräte verbunden, aber blieb aus, was es unzuverlässig machte.
Zusätzlich ist die Lärmdichtigkeit sehr schlecht Lärm aus der Halle konnte klar in dem Zimmer gehört werden. Insgesamt, dies beeinflusste den Aufenthalt erheblich.

MMattyFThe bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was very large too. It was all clean. Most guest rooms are in annexes, with reception and dining in the old building (old for Oz, anyway) which boasts a bit of style. Breakfast was quite good but items such as bacon and scrambled eggs did not stay very hot about the buffet. I liked the sourdough. Reception was prompt and professional. Now the minor dislikes: it’s a good 30 minute walk from the CBD / waterfront, up a bit of hill all the way. (There is an area with plenty of bars etc about half way). I walked several times a day and it was OK. Most guests will have cars though. The living area in the room needed a TV. If there can only be one TV per room, it would be better there than in front of the bed in my opinion. Finally, one of the two wardrobes is locked up, presumably to store linen etc. The other only has hanging space so there was no shelving. I felt a little cheated that half of “my” potential wardrobe space was denied to me! On balance, I would consider staying again, even though it is a little way out of town. Overall it is large, clean, comfortable and manages a little style.

Umgebung: erstklassige Landschaft
Service: Die Dame an der Rezeption spricht Chinesisch und der Service ist gut

GGutmanEin sehr gutes Hotel. Die Besitzerin ist Chinesin, es gibt keine Kommunikationsbarriere und sie ist sehr nett. Wir stellen eine bemerkenswerte Höhle ganz in der Nähe von Port Arthur vor, mit absolut unschlagbarem Meerblick.
Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und mit Mikrowelle, Toaster, Kühlschrank, Geschirr usw. ausgestattet. Es ist sehr praktisch für Familien, zu reisen. Vom Hotel aus können Sie den Meerblick genießen.
Selbstfahrendes Parken in Hobart ist mühsam. Auch wenn Sie bezahlen, ist das Parken am Straßenrand im Allgemeinen auf 1 oder 2 Stunden begrenzt. Die Parkgebühr für andere Hotels beträgt 28 AUD pro Tag und sie können kostenlos parken. Auch wenn der Parkplatz voll ist, ist das Parken auf der Straße vor der Tür kostenfrei.
Die Fahrt ins Stadtzentrum dauert 5 Minuten. Die Wanderung ist zwar nur 1,5 km lang, aber das Gefälle der Straße ist sehr steil und die Wanderung etwas anstrengend.
