Die Travellodge ist ein toller Ort, um sich in der Nähe des Flughafens zu verhalten und eine kurze Fahrt nach Sorell. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und die Zimmer sind ziemlich groß, sauber und gemütlich. Da Sie in der Nähe des Flughafens und der Hauptstraße sind die Zimmer schön und ruhig machen Ihren Aufenthalt komfortabel.

Dieses Hotel hatte die schlimmste Eincheckung, die ich je erlebt habe. Ich war für 1 Nacht gebucht. Ich wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass ich ohne Foto-Identifikation nicht einchecken konnte. Ich wurde nie um dies in Tasmanien gebeten (ich bin ein Bewohner). Ich habe das nicht auf mich, weil es in meinem Fahrzeug war, das von dem Diener genommen wurde. Ich konnte 3 Kreditkarten in meinem Namen und sie hatten die Kreditkartendetails, die von meinem Geschäftsbetrieb, für die Kosten des Aufenthalts. Vergessen wir nicht, dass sie auch die Schlüssel für mein $40k Fahrzeug hatten. Der Manager weigerte sich jedoch, zu bürochen und erlaubte mir nur zu bleiben, nachdem er mich gegoogelt hatte - Glücklicherweise wurde ein Profil-Bild von meinem Arbeitsplatz als ok angesehen - und nur, nachdem ich mich bereit erklärt habe, auf meiner persönlichen Kreditkarte zu zahlen. Ich werde nicht mehr hier bleiben.

Had a recent stay for 3 nights and found it really enjoyable. After a little confusion with parking the car due to street it is located on being a bus thoroughfare, valet parking was prompt and we found we didn't need to get car out again. Great location in the centre of town and easy walking to everything Hobart has to offer. Rooms were very clean, although a little small, bathroom was a generous size although water did flood floor when showering. Did have to order another pillow as ones in room were rock hard. Breakfast was very yummy and buffet option that was offered had more than enough to satisfy. Gym was small with just enough equipment to do a workout. The Chocolate Hour was a bit of a letdown, not what we expected, but still another point of difference. All in all, a really nice stay and we'll certainly wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Wir buchten zwei Nächte im April. Wir konnten das Zimmer stinken, bevor die Tür vollständig geöffnet war! Körpergeräuche, schmutziger Geruch, alter gefärbter Teppichgeräuche! Die Möbel waren alt, tragen und nicht sauber. Der Bettdeckel hatte Löcher und sah aus wie ein Hund-Schleif. Es fühlte sich wie ein Marschmallow und ich durfte nicht auf die Matratze zu schauen, ob es sauber war. Der Teppich war überall schlecht verfärbt und das Badezimmer muss vor 20 Jahren renoviert werden. Wir fühlten uns schrecklich, aber konnten nicht dort bleiben so angenehm mit der Rezeption, die das Zimmer zugegeben hat, machte kleine und sie hatten einen anderen Rom mit einem neuen Teppich und einer neuen Matratzen. Das neue Zimmer riechte nicht so schlecht, aber das Teppich wurde schlimmer gefärbt als das erste. Das Bad war antiken und Melamin-Pelz und fehlte in Teilen. Wir konnten einfach nicht zu uns dort zu bleiben und um eine Erstattung [wenn nur für eine Nacht] gebeten. Wir erhielten keine Erstattung und der Besitzer hielt uns für unser Problem stets auf Booking.com Bezug. Sie haben sie an der Nacht e-mailt und sie hat sie nie geantwortet. Ich habe später die Bewertungen gelesen, dass der Ort zu einem Zeitpunkt als ******* verwendet wurde, vielleicht erklären die kopierten Farben. Wir zahlten 2 Nächte Unterkunft und buchten an anderer Stelle. Ich telefoniere dem Eigentümer und fragte, warum sie nicht antwortete booking.com, so dass wir eine Erstattung erhalten konnten, plötzlich war ihr Englisch nicht so gut wie es war, als wir uns getroffen hatten!! Sie bot nichts an. Ich habe vorgeschlagen, dass sie unser Geld nutzt, um einen neuen Bettspread zu kaufen! Ich bedauere nur, dass ich so schockiert war, dass ich das Zimmer nicht mehr mit Ihnen teilen konnte.

The Bay Apartments are a good value but simple place to stay in Hobart. We stayed here for 1 night this week, in a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment was clean but small. It had an overpowering smell of cleaning products when we arrived but this dispersed during our stay. The bathroom is a traditional shower-over-bath, and there is a small living area and flat screen TV. There is a small cooktop and sink, and a bar fridge. The apartments are a short walk to a large range of restaurants, a Woolworths and a Cole. There is also a pub (almost) next door. It is a short drive to Hobart CBD and there are public buses out the front. We were apprehensive at first as it was quite noisy (noise from other guests and from the road), but this didn’t affect our sleep quality. There is parking outside the unit and one reverse cycle aircon unit in the living area. Don’t expect a fancy property- this is a basic but well presented unit at an affordable price point, not a $300/nt property. If you set your expectations correctly this is a very good property. The stairways to the upstairs appartments are very narrow and it is difficult to carry large cases up and down. I’d stay here again if looking for a basic stay in Hobart, but probably not for multiple nights.

Sehr perfektes Wohnerlebnis, nur 15 Autominuten von Hobart City entfernt, aber Sie können ein unvergleichliches Erlebnis bekommen, es ist großartig, ich werde beim nächsten Mal wieder hier übernachten. Es ist für Kinder geeignet und der Hotelservice ist sehr rücksichtsvoll. Wir buchten die Villa Suite mit einem Doppelschlafsofa. Es ist sehr angenehm, mit zwei Kindern zu bleiben. Das Hotel bietet auch zwei zusätzliche Kinderfrühstücke an. Elegantes Ambiente mit chinesischem Service. Einziges Manko sind die zwei schwarzen Spinnen an den Zimmervorhängen, aber das alte Haus ist unvermeidlich

As one would expect, great staff and service, easy access - and laid back and an inviting/friendly atmosphere compared to a few others I have visited. Been twice now after getting a great room rate and well worth the stay with some great views (room location dependant). Great choice of both casual inexpensive meals at the Boardwalk Bistro and the more upper class eateries. Great amenities in one location. Our family recently had the pleasure of staying in the Tower Bay View Suite at Wrest Point Tower Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with the utmost care and attention by the hotel staff. They were not only professional but also incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The suite itself was immaculate, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The cleanliness was top-notch, which is always a significant factor when traveling with kids. However, the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the unrestricted bay view from our suite. It was absolutely breathtaking and provided a serene backdrop to our stay. The kids were enthralled by the view, and it added an extra layer of magic to our vacation. In conclusion, our stay at Wrest Point Tower Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of the stunning view, immaculate suite, and exceptional staff made our stay truly memorable. We can't wait to return and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering a stay in the area.

Das Hotel liegt etwas weit vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Wenn es ein Auto gibt, ist es bequemer, aber es ist notwendig, es auszuspucken. Juli ist ihr Winter. Das Wohnzimmer hat eine Klimaanlage, aber die Heizung ist nicht sehr gut. Der Speisesaal ist miserabel, es gibt keine Klimaanlage und der Mantel hat es eilig. Nach dem Abendessen ging ich ins Schlafzimmer, aber die drei Schlafzimmer hatten nur einen Heizkörper, aber das Zimmer war nicht zu warm. Die anderen beiden Zimmer hatten einen Heizkörper und einer hatte keinen Heizkörper. Nach vielen Verhandlungen wurde die Decke endlich aufgewärmt. Während ich auf die Elektrogeräte wartete, wollte ich ursprünglich auschecken, aber ich sah, dass sie sehr gut waren. Ich dachte an die Probleme mit Umkleidekabinen. (Um auszuchecken, muss man vor 8:00 Uhr sagen, sonst kann man sich am nächsten Tag einschreiben.) Ich habe gut geschlafen, ich habe nicht erwartet, ständig zu stolpern, abzuschalten und die Hälfte des heißen Wassers zu haben wurde im Bad gewaschen. Ich wischte es hastig mit kaltem Wasser ab. Im Winter sind es nur 5 Grad. Ich habe sie oft gebeten, es zu reparieren, der Elektriker konnte nichts tun, die Drähte waren alt, die Wände des Hauses waren dünn und die Wärme war schlecht. Um 11 Uhr abends, um die nächsten Tage zu garantieren, beschloss ich, das Zimmer umzubuchen und am nächsten Morgen auszuchecken. Ausländer lehnten die Rückerstattung des gleichen Zimmers entschieden ab, auch wenn sie sich über ihre Ausstattung nicht einigen konnten, war das Endergebnis der Vermittlung von Ctrip natürlich zufriedenstellend, so dass die Partner dieses Hotels überlegen sollten, sie haben kein Schlafzimmer. Klimatisiert, im Sommer keine Klimaanlage, ich finde es ungemütlich, aber die Landschaft vor dem Haus ist gut.

When you arrive at the Grand Chancellor you will find a tiny front drive that can fit about 4 cars, where you are supposed to be able to park, check in, and then move your car to their underground parking. However, this front drive is not monitored so when we arrived the driveway was completely full with no one there to direct us anywhere. We drove around the block to enter the underground parking and unloaded our bags which we had to carry up the stairs from the parking garage as there was no guest lift that we could easily find (good luck if you have trouble with stairs). At the bottom of the stairs there is a button that you can supposedly use to call someone to assist with your bags. We tried to use this and though we could hear the bell upstairs, it was not answered (even just to let us know that someone would come), so we gave up and carried our bags up the stairs. Upon arrival to the room, we noticed it was clearly very dated. We could see some effort had been made to update the rooms visually but the installations felt very half-****d. For instance instead of a shower curtain for the bath tub there was a half glass pane that is delightfully too short and instead bounces water off its side and onto the floor. A rainfall showerhead had also been installed but it seemed like an afterthought as it was crooked and had poor water pressure. We then tried to use the pool. Upon entry, I felt like I was taken back in time to the days of dark and damp fitness centers and unmaintained pool floors & furniture. There were no staff nearby and the entire area was a mess. Walking into the locker rooms was a shock with horrible banged up smelly lockers (many of which were open but had no key to lock it!) and awful grey blue shiny tiles that bounce the cold flickering white light around. The shared sauna between male and female locker rooms was also a joke. We left without even bothering to get changed or use the pool. We then attempted to dine at the restaurant in the hotel lobby. The host at the front asked if we had a reservation which we did not. He then looked around at the many empty tables as if he was not sure what to do and then asked us to ”wait outside” as he checked availability. We have never been asked to exit any restaurant whilst they searched for a table (even in much busier restaurants) and we were very frustrated by this request. We waited outside over 5 minutes and then decided to leave and ask the front desk staff for other local restaurant recommendations. As we were on our way out, we noticed the restaurant host was hovering nearby as if he had found us a table and was waiting for us to be done but we left without another look. Upon arriving back in our room after dinner and turning off the lights to sleep, we were graced with the hallway light streaming through the large cracks in the poorly fitted door. We had to stuff the cracks with towels, and then cover the strong blue light from the thermostat (which had no function to tur
