Wir sind nach einer weniger als tollen Nacht in einem nahe gelegenen Hotel nach diesem Hotel gewechselt. Die Lage ist ideal, wenn Sie nahe dem See oder mit einer Botschaft zu arbeiten möchten. Der See ist ein 30 Sekunden Spaziergang, die Botschaften 10 Minuten oder so. Es gibt eine große Geschmackgeschichte (VinMart) nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt. Das Zimmer verfügt über einen großen Wohnbereich, einen Arbeitstisch, eine volle Küche mit einem Haushaltskühlschrank/Frosch, und das Bett ist sehr komfortabel wie die Ketten. Das Bettbereich kann durch Schließen eines Grünbuchs zwischen ihm und dem Wohnbereich abgeschnitten werden - bequem, wenn Ihr Reiseleiter früh aufsteigen möchte (und alle Lichter abschalten). Das Badezimmer verfügt über einen vollen Tube und eine japanische Toilette (d. h., beheizte Sitze und in Bidet mit mehreren Optionen gebaut). Wir waren in der Mitte der Pandemie, so dass die Besatzung gering war. Anstatt ein Frühstücksbuffet haben sie uns ein Menü mit einer sehr großen Auswahl an Objekten von westlichen Standards bis hin zu vietnamesischen Standards angeboten. Man wird nicht hungrig, weil es keine Optionen gibt. Abends im Dachrestaurant sind Gruppen von lokalen Jugendlichen, die sich selbstliegend in der 'Fantasie' Umgebung. Würde ein Abendessen für die schöne Seeblick sowie die Leute, die sie beobachten. Das Personal war groß, das Essen war sehr gut und die Preise in der Minibar waren völlig vernünftig. Kaffee, Tee, Trinkwasser und ein FULL Frühstück sind enthalten. Wenn diese Lage Ihre Bedürfnisse passt, wenn Sie Hanoi besuchen, kann ich es nicht mehr empfehlen.

My wife and I were fortunate enough to stay at the Somerset Westpoint for about 3 months in 2021, waiting for the permanent house we had found to be available for us to move in with all our furniture. We got a furnished 2-bedroom apartment on a high floor, with an amazing view overlooking West Lake. Beautiful place, modern and stylish, all the furniture and appliances were just in perfect condition. The outdoor swimming pool (probably around 25m long) is wonderful and never crowded so you can actually swim for your daily exercise if that is part of your routine. They also have a great gym and a virtual golf practice that seems to be state of the art technology (but we never used it). So the place itself is amazing, modern and charming, pristine clean, and greatly located in Tay Ho. But even more outstanding maybe is how nice everyone has been there with us during our stay. From the housekeeping to the front desk staff and the management, everyone has just been wonderful to us (and I am not saying that just because we got a totally unexpected special chocolate treat on Bastille Day – we are French…) Impossible to mention everybody here but we would like to give special mentions to the ones that we remember the name of and that we had a special relationship with: our dedicated and meticulous housekeeper, Hoang Diu, who took such good care of our home during these three months; Kylie Quynh who was able to locate for us the manufacturer of some of the furniture at Somerset that we wanted to get for ourselves, Mr Mitchell, always so nice and pleasant, and of course Miss Minna, always smiling, who made me feel at home with her great French speaking abilities and who gave us as a souvenir an orchid from her garden that is now in ours. Also, I would like to mention someone that we have never met in person but that we exchanged a lot on WhatsApp with, Miss Doan Thanh Huyen, customer representative, who helped us with the logistic of moving in and out, and who has proven herself to be an amazing incarnation of “customer satisfaction first”. We have travelled a lot, in many different countries, and I have to say that this place really stands out. Big thanks to all the team for making us feel so comfortable and wishing you all the success that you deserve!

Wir haben eine Einzimmerwohnung für einen Wochenende-Reise reserviert. Es ist sehr geräumig, sauber und hell. Das Restaurant für Frühstücksbuffet ist im Erdgeschoss. Gemütliches Essen mit einer Art Pho serviert jeden Tag. Betätigen Frühstücksservice, da es nicht zu viele Tische gibt. Das Hotel liegt etwa 30 Minuten Fahrt nach Old Quarter mit Grab Auto. Das lokale Gebiet ist nicht das Beste, um zu gehen, aber es gibt einen Kaffeegeschäft innerhalb von 1 Minute zu Fuß zu servieren guten Kaffee.

We really enjoyed staying here. We originally booked another hotel but due to the noise and other issues we had to change it and we’re very glad we chose Fraser Suites. It is located in very convenient location. Supermarkets are in the same building complex, there are numerous coffee shops, bars and restaurants nearby and Old quarter and other tourist sites are quick taxi ride away. There is also a free comfortable shuttle service which we used couple of times. The room was modern, spacious and quiet. We slept really good in a big comfortable king bed. We enjoyed cooking a lot in well equipped kitchen and the washing machine was very useful for our longterm stay. We used a sky lounge on the top floor couple of times. Very nice views and great cocktails!! Due to the weather the infinity pool was not open but it must be really nice when it is warm out. The best part was the very friendly and helpful staff. The receptionists, cleaning stuff, the shuttle drivers, bartenders and waiters, they made our stay very special. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it!

The good news - the 2bedroom apartment was excellent value - clean, spacious and well laid out. We did have to get a technician in to sort out a noisy aircon (old unit) - but this was done promptly without fuss. A huge bottle of drinking water (same size of those for water coolers) is provided - and we definately appreciated this. The apartment is also very quiet and well soundproofed. We were very happy with the apartment - excellent value accomodation wise. Customer service was OK. We interacted with three different staff and the a staff at the buffet breakfast. The three counter staff could speak good English - we had difficulty with the lady at the buffet breakfast who spoke little English. Overall service level was OK but not the best. I found that the service from the doorman the excellent - a smile and a greeting when opening the doors. Although the staff were polite, we never felt the warmth that we experienced from other Vietnamese hotels (we have stayed at a range of 4* and 5* accomodation). For example, when trying to figure out where to eat dinner, talking to the counter staff was like talking to a polite chatbot - you had to ask exactly the right question to get a helpful response. Do note that the gynm is very small - it was smaller than our apartmeent. With the 3 of us in the gym, we found it rather squeezy. It is airconditioned though and towels and water are provided. We did not use the pool. The UGLY: The hotel provides the option of a buffet breakfast at VND346500/pax (about USD 14.50 ) - which we opted for. This is served in the inhouse Japanese restaurant. You have to choose a Japanese main course from two options - and you have access to a (tiny) breakfast buffet. However, I would not recommend the breakfast - its very poor value for money and the food provided is not of a good quality standard. Not the best tastewise either. When we were told one of our main courses was not avaialble (we were there at 8am at an empty restaurant) - my wife remarked that the option of Japanese main course appeared to depend on what was leftover unsold from the previous night at the restaurant. The provided coffee was so awful that I found that the 3-in-1 premix tasted better. See the attached picture for the (tiny) range of buffet options on offer. Again , strongly recommend you avoid the breakfast buffet. The overall exterior doesn't appear to have been maintained for years. Of course this could be due to air pollution. This didn't impact our stay materially though - although it could be an eyesore for others. The hotel is well situated and West Lake is easily accessible through the hotel back gate. Its also 15min away to Lotte Metropolis via Grab cab. In summary, we enjoyed the apartment stay - but dreaded the morning breakfast. Overall - still recommended for excellent value and location though.

Es ist eine wunderbare Unterkunft. Wenn Sie mehr bezahlen können und Sie nicht daran interessieren, weg vom Zentrum zu sein, dann ist es Ihrer Sitz.

One of the greatest serviced apartment I've ever visited. The one-bedroom apartment is spacious and nicely maintained. The kitchen is completely new, and room service will even take care of the dishes. The restaurant and the breakfast are both excellent. There's a huge, brand-new gym. The location is West Lake, which is located away from Hanoi's noise and smog.

Erstens möchte ich den Vorzeigepersonal schreien - sie waren so hilfreich bei unseren Anfragen (einschließlich der Verlängerung unseres Aufenthalts) und hilfsbereit bei Taxis und anderen Vereinbarungen. Dies sind eigentlich Apartments mit funktionalen Küchen und wirklich komfortable und gute Betten. Die Euphoria ist auch in Tay Do, eine gute Lage eine einfache Cabfahrt in den Zentrum von Hanoi, aber es ist es wert, sich zu erkunden. Das Hotel ist eine Straße (gemein in Hanoi) untergetaucht und ich mochte die Lage - es war nur einen fünfminütigen Spaziergang zu Einkaufen und Restaurants. Ich hoffe, in diesem Jahr wieder nach Hanoi zu kommen und werde sicherlich hier wieder aufbleiben.

Frühstück gibt es erst um neun Uhr, es gibt nicht viele Sorten, aber auch viele. Es gibt Reisnudeln, Haferbrei, Toast, Gurken, Erdnüsse, gebratenen Reis, gedämpfte Brötchen, Eier, Gemüse und Obst. Ich hatte Haferbrei, Gurken, Reisnudeln. Zustellbetten sollten nicht möglich sein. Die Straße um den See ist herum. In der Nähe befindet sich ein einfacher Spielplatz. Wenn Sie ein gelbhaariges Mädchen auf einer Schaukel schwingen sehen, können Kinder spielen. Es gibt einen Parkplatz am Eingang und Sie können parken. Allerdings ist das Hotel relativ alt und bedarf besonderer Überlegung. Die Zimmerhygiene ist nicht sehr gut.
