Ein Wochenende für eine Hochzeit gebucht, die an der Lage Wharf von DC stattfand. Hotel war schön, Zimmergröße war angemessen, Hotel war sauber und professionell. Preise für tägliche Parkplätze waren ein wenig extrem $59/day. Wir hatten nicht viel Wahl, wohin wir parken, so dass wir das Auto im Hotel verließen und Uber verwendet, um zu und von dem Hotel bis zum Pendry am Wharf. Oh ja heiße Duschen machen den Rauchdetektor aus, aber andere als diese beiden Fragen war das ein großer Aufenthalt für das Wochenende, vor allem mit dem 4th of July weekend !

I had a very pleasant stay at the Hilton Washington. The bed is very comfortable with high-quality bedding, which made for a great night’s sleep. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The gym is spacious and well equipped; although some of the equipment is a bit outdated, it still works well and gets the job done. Overall, a very nice hotel and I would definitely stay here again.

Das Hotel liegt etwas weiter von der U-Bahn-Station entfernt (ca. 14 Gehminuten) und ist etwa 20 Gehminuten vom Weißen Haus und der National Mall entfernt. Wer gerne etwas länger läuft, kann einen Stadtbummel unternehmen. Die Zimmer sind geräumig genug für drei große Koffer. Praktischerweise gibt es in der Dusche viele Haken. Die Kleiderstangen sind beweglich. Auf dem Zimmer steht kein Mineralwasser bereit, aber im Flur gibt es kostenlose Eiswasserspender und Eismaschinen. Täglich werden sechs Kaffeekapseln bereitgestellt, der Kaffee ist jedoch nur mittelmäßig. Es gibt kein Frühstücksbuffet, sondern nur À-la-carte-Frühstück, das ich nicht gewählt habe. Ein Nachteil ist, dass die Toilettenspülung etwa zwei Minuten braucht (man könnte meinen, die Toilette sei undicht).

Das Zimmer hatte keine Badewanne. Das Zimmer war groß und schien sauber. Ich wünschte, sie würden uns mehr geben. Es gab nicht einmal eine Flasche Wasser (würde ich mir fragen, ob das überall in den USA ist?) Die Lichter waren nachts schön dünn, und es könnte noch mehr nützen. Das Frühstück war fein! Ich liebe, dass es günstige Geschäfte wie Walgreens und CVS sehr nahe anwesend waren und bis 11 Uhr geöffnet sind.

Our recent stay at the Residence Inn Washington, DC National Mall was fantastic for our group of 6! The One Bedroom Two Queen Suite with Sofa Bed provided plenty of space for everyone to stay comfortably. The suite was perfectly sized with two queen beds in the separate bedroom and a queen-sized sofa bed in the living area. The spacious layout allowed all six of us to move around comfortably without feeling cramped, especially with the separate living and sleeping areas. Location: 5/5 - Prime spot near the National Mall Cleanliness: 5/5 - Everything was spotless and well-maintained Service: 5/5 - Staff was accommodating Facilities: 5/5 - All amenities exceeded expectations The suite proved to be an ideal choice for our group of 6. The queen-sized beds, including the sofa bed, provided comfortable sleeping arrangements for everyone. The living area offered enough space for us to gather and socialize, making it a perfect base for our DC adventure. For anyone traveling with a group of 6, I can confidently say this suite configuration works great, offering both comfort and convenience in an excellent location.

Die Lage des Hotels ist besonders gut. Sie können direkt vom United Station zu dem Hotel kommen, zum internationalen Flughafen Durres kann auch direkt zu ihm kommen. Unterhalb des Hotels gibt es U-Bahn- und Busbahnhofs und Hauptattraktionsmuseen wie zum Nationalplatz können zu Fuß gehen. Das Hotel umgibt auch ein Restaurant-Supermarkt. Die Hoteleinrichtungen sind etwas alt, die Sound-Isolierung ist nicht sehr gut, aber die Hygiene ist gut, die Reinigung ist rechtzeitig, im Allgemeinen gut.

This is a business hotel located in an excellent location in DC. It is close to major attractions like the capitol and Smithsonian museums (15-20min walk at max). There is also a bus stop nearby to access the city center, and the Union Station metro is an 8min walk away. Food wise there are not many options nearby but the city center is about 15 minutes by bus. The hotel is clean, rooms are serviced daily, and there is free water and coffee. The room is nice and clean, the only minor issue is a slightly low water pressure. The main issue with this place are the meal credits - although the booking says that breakfast is included, what you actually get is $10 in meal discounts per day - there is a breakfast buffet and the place converts into a restaurant for lunch and dinner. You can't stack these discounts (i.e. if you did not eat any meals at the hotel today, you have forfeited the discount and cannot push any discount to tomorrow). The breakfast buffet is over $20 before tip (additional cost if you order eggs, which somehow are not in the buffet spread), and a lunch/dinner entree is somewhere between $20 and $30. In essence this forces you to eat at the hotel for a discount but you will still end up paying additional. Other than this rather confusing meal scheme, would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in DC for the first time.

Ich hatte jedoch nicht die Freude, die Einrichtungen zu nutzen, ich muss das Personal loben, dass es immer hilfreich und freundlich ist während meines Aufenthalts. Ich empfehle, dass die Mitarbeiter über einen Notfallplan oder bei Kraftsenkungen in der Umgebung beraten werden, um jegliche Unannehmlichkeiten und Unannehmlichkeiten, die von den Gästen erlebt werden, zu mildern. Leider ging die Kraft während meines Aufenthalts im Hotel von 4:00 bis zur Zeit, die ich um 2:00 Uhr auscheckte. Es wäre eine schöne Geste gewesen, den Gästen, die im Hotel waren, Wasser, Rabatte, Kupons oder irgendeine Art von Hilfe zu bieten, um die unbehagliche Situation, ohne Macht für eine lange Zeit zu verbessern. Darüber hinaus ist das Hotel in einer guten Lage und ist leicht zugänglich, je nach Ihren Bedürfnissen in DC.

They provided us with a handicap room without informing us upon checking in. As the rooms had all the required facilities like hand rails etc. the mattress is also sinking especially on the left side not the Marriott standard. We had prepaid the room for 4 pax but only provide 3 pax bath towels, request the 4th pax bath towel after checking in, need to request again after we came back late night for the shower. The location is nearby the metro station.

Kein täglicher Zimmerservice, es sei denn, man zahlt einen absurd hohen Aufpreis. Die Wände sind dünn, aber ich hatte eine Geräuschmaschine dabei, was half. Keine Extras oder Schnickschnack. Nur eine einfache Übernachtungsmöglichkeit.
