Wir besuchten Aguieira zum zweiten Mal, dieses Mal in seinem neuesten Hotel. Im allgemeinen war die Erfahrung angenehm und erfüllte die Erwartungen, aber noch eine große Wachstumsmarge. 2 Aspekte zu berücksichtigen (die ich bereits Gelegenheit hatte, mit den Mitarbeitern zu teilen): - Restaurant - große Enttäuschung, teuer und schwache Qualität. Ich empfehle nichts für die Kabeljau-Schalentafel, da es noch ein Spinnentafel mit Bügel war. Im Gegenteil, die Kuh-Löffel war eine schöne Überraschung, auch wenn sie noch verbessert werden konnte (es war einfach nur, ihn nach dem Aufpacken zu lassen, nachdem er das Bluttafel füllt). Der Deck ist super Basis, und das extrem trockene Brot (es war nur, um es in den Ofen für 1 Minute und haben bereits den Kunden mit ”frischem Brot und gerade gemacht”) irregeführt); - Fitness - etwas eingeschränkte Betriebszeit (öffnet um 9 Uhr und für jene, die in der Ich glaube, es ist völlig verboten. Darüber hinaus funktioniert die meisten Maschinen nicht schlecht. Dies wird von der Lage, den Einrichtungen, dem Frühstück und dem Spa (eine ziemlich angenehme Massageerlebnis) hervorgehoben. What an elegant hotel! The a**osphere takes you back in time as an aristocrat lounging by the fireplace after a nice meal and before retiring into a comfortable room. The staff is friendly with kudos to the bartender/waiter Antonio who couldn’t hold back his smirks while our small tour group had so much fun. The hotel is in the countryside, so no walking tours or local restaurants to visit: you don’t need nor want to venture away. Relax in style!

La peculiaridad que tiene Viseu es que te encuentras a una distancia razonable en todas direcciones de Guarda, Aveiro, Lamego y Coimbra. Un poquito más de una hora de Oporto y Vila Real; por lo que aparte de ser una ciudad preciosa es ideal para moverte en coche y visitar toda esta zona de Portugal. El hotel está muy cerca de la catedral y es una maravilla, de hecho tiene unos salones dignos de un hotel de cinco estrellas; sin embargo las habitaciones son funcionales, de un hotel de ciudad (con todo lo necesario). Muy limpio y cómodo. El primer día te puede ser difícil llegar a él, pero uno vez que te sabes el camino es fácil, tienen parking privado gratuito, pero es muy pequeño, no obstante de no poder dejarlo (que no suele ser el caso) es fácil por alrededor). Carece de piscina y el desayuno es bueno. La calidad precio también es buena y el personal muy amable, eso sí, muy tranquilo, no se sofocan; algo que tengo que decir que también viene bien, por lo estresados que vivimos.

It is a travel in time. Literally. Building is a jewel, truly extraordinary, in good shape. Common areas are in good shape yet a bit dated and lack decent lightning. it’s shame Bedrooms though are less than a 3 stars. All is BAD except the linen; lack of furniture; no tv channels; terrible lightning; it’s unexplainable. Bathroom is spacious and from the 1970s but I liked it very much design wise. The attitude of staff is VERY weird, as if everyone knew something is wrong. We arrived in a rainy evening. The check In person was nice but seemed lost or that he had drunk too much. Unclear. We had dinner and breakfast there. The price of wines is a scandal. Absurd. Food was ok, also overpriced. The hotel is clearly understaffed in order to be kept afloat. They ask you to please book the breakfast time. Staff was okish, old fashioned, not kind, burned out perhaps but trying to do their work ok. There was a strange demeanor though— most specially someone that identified himself as ‘Barman’ and that seemed to be the head of some mafia. Really bad energy from him. The whole thing does not feel credible, even the descriptions of the group to which the hotel belongs sound infatuated. To sum up: Is a grand and old hotel that clearly needs to change hands, enter in a diferent attitude towards hosting, get into a new type of grandeur and life that honors the incredible building and location. Now, for €107 with breakfast, I highly recommend it! Have dinner somewhere else or there, take your wifi, enjoy the park, wake up in the middle of the forest etc. breakfast is 4*.
