Risus Cave Suites

Harun our reception/manager was excellent and spoke English perfectly. He made us feel home and helped with getting around the area. Room was excellent with warm heating a/c and TV with WiFi. WiFi was excellent speed. Excellent location as well Breakfast was very good.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Our room was big and comfortable, the hotel has a good location in the center of Göreme, and breakfast was delicious. Moreover, the staff was truly amazing, arranging our balloon ride for way less that we could find online. Most importantly, I had an issue during my stay (I had to retrieve a piece of jewelry that I had forgotten in Istanbul) and the staff, specially Tarek, were TRULY great about it, going way out of their way to help me solve it. Absolutely recommend it, 10/10. Thank you SO much!!

Amazing hotel in Groeme, highly recommended. The hotel is within walking distance of all the restaurants and shops in Groeme. We stayed in room 301, which was unique and truly a Cappadocia experience. The best part of our stay was the staff. They are hands-on and ensure that you have a great stay and experience in Cappadocia. All in all, a great stay and definitely a hotel I will return to.

Great location high up with views in Goreme. Super friendly staff and really nice breakfast. Large cool rooms, comfy beds. Nice travertine bathrooms with basic toiletries. Not much storage space fir clothes so pack light! The staff can arrange tours on site. We booked a cave room and found it to be a bit damp smelling so moved to another room which was much better.

Wonderfull stay in a lovely Cave Hotel. Breakfast was superb, the rooms spacious and authentic. A bathroom with lot’s of space and a wonderfull roofterrace. Service of the owner and the Staff was perfect! Really 10 out of 10! Parking the car in front of the Hotel, Balloonflight Booking for the best Price in town!

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous! Being a cave hotel I tried to manage my expectations but when I arrived and opened the door I was blown away by how beautiful it was. The room was absolutely sparkling clean, perhaps the cleanest hotel l've stayed in in a very long time. The staff were all so lovely and helpful. The two gentlemen at reception were always helpful and smiley (Medhi and Neship I think- apologies). They booked all my tours for me including balloon, green and red tour and used exceptional companies at good rates. They were always available to assist but never pushed me to book anything through them. Breakfast was simple but fresh and I have a food allergy so couldn't eat much but that was absolutely not their fault. the location of the hotel is fabulous as it is just a short walk away from the markets, restaurants, taxi and bus rank and the view point which is ideal for Balloon watching. The hotel also have a lovely terrace which has a beautiful view and in the mornings you can spot some of the balloon's floating. All in all my stay in Risus Caves Suites was magnificent and I would not think twice about staying there again. Thank you so much!

Place is strategically situated at location about 5-6 mins walk from cafes, restaurants and other amenities. Room is spacious and comfy and there’s a roof deck for those who loved to bask under the sun. Persons-in-charge from both day and night shift are friendly and attentive, and they also offer excursion arrangements at a fairly reasonable fares. It was a great staying experience overall for us. A good hotel with friendly accommodating staff; with a few mods, this would be an amazing place Liked · Large, clean room; very friendly helpful staff; good breakfast; good location, good value for money. Staying in a "cave room" was an experience, although it brought some challenges. Location was pretty good, fairly close to the town centre. The staff were helpful in organizing excursions/activities for us. Disliked · The biggest issue we ran into was the result of this being a "cave room": there was little ventilation in the room, which meant that it was humid, and as the heating was not on yet in the cool of October, this meant that the room always felt clammy; lighting in the sitting area of the room was poor; clothes storage was limited with a closet but no shelves. Although close to the town centre, the hotel is on a hill (as are most hotels in Goreme) with partially-paved or dirt roads, and so getting from and to was a little difficult if you have mobility issues. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for the experience; the friendly and helpful staff; and value for money.

Excellent location , friendly staff, decent breakfast and beautiful view at night. I stayed for one night only but wanted to come back dressed up the next day to capture beautiful pictures on the rooftop area. Forgot to bring a three pin plug and the hotel staff was kind enough to lend me one.
