Es ist, als würde man in Hogwarts leben, so cool! Der Waggon ist ein Maisonette-Zimmer mit Fenster zur Kirche. Sie können den Sonnenaufgang beobachten, während Sie frühmorgens im Bett liegen. Tagsüber können Sie unten sitzen, eine Kanne Tee kochen und auf der Straße singen. Perfekter geht es nicht. Das einzige Problem ist, dass es ein denkmalgeschütztes Gebäude ist und man einen starken Mann braucht, um das Gepäck rein und raus zu tragen, hahahaha🤣

Die Umgebung ist wirklich toll! Durch dieses Hotel hat mein Interesse an Gent meine Erwartungen weit übertroffen. Ich hoffe, diesen Ort noch einmal besuchen zu können. Ich werde nie vergessen, wie ich das Fenster öffnete und die Menschen die Treppe hinuntergehen und die Kirchenglocken läuten sah, genau wie auf einem Gemälde aus dem 19. Jahrhundert.

Sehr schön, die Details sind perfekt. Ich verwende Shampoo und Spülung von Guerlain. Die Umgebung ist zu laut. Und es ist unpraktisch, dass sich Waschbecken und Badezimmer im zweiten Stock befinden.

Die Lage ist sehr praktisch, und die Sehenswürdigkeiten sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Hotel ist ein sehr charakteristisches altes Postamt. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend. Es ist ein lohnendes Erlebnis, das den Charme und die verträumte Atmosphäre von Gent unterstreicht.

Gorgeous charming hotel with excellent service!

Beautiful hotel with perfect view of a cathedral from our twin room. Hotel is in a historic building with lovely architectural features by the canal and the room we were in was a cleverly designed "duplex" with the bathroom and sinks on the upper floor (ie loft) which made full use of the almost double volume ceiling in the smallish twin room we were in. The only drawback was that the steps were narrow and steep and would pose a problem if one had mobility issues. The toilet was located by the door next to the entrance but there was no sink for handwashing. Alcohol gel in a pump bottle was provided. There is a café, lifestyle / clothes shop and supermarket in the same building. Very convenient and the hotel's location was walkable to all the sights in Ghent central. The front desk staff were very polite and gracious and allowed us to store our luggage when we arrived before 11am, since check-in was strictly at 4pm. We were happy to find that our suitcases had been already delivered to our room when we returned to the hotel at 4pm. There are 2 bars in the hotel - one which is open to the public which was buzzing in the evenings and a guest-only "Honesty Bar" (1st photo) in which hotel guests could purportedly help themselves to liquor and pen down what they had imbibed - but I never saw anyone in it ! This could be due to a lack of ice or mixers. Or glasses. 🍸

Overall is great. But the entrance is a little away from the main road if you are with your big luggage that could be tough due the the steps and rough paving. Another small issue is the toilet, there is no ventilation in the toilet so the odour could trapped inside for a while.

It’s the best hotel by far. Great location with a supermarket right below and a 2-minute walking distance to a train station. Lovely view and beautiful hotel. Worth every penny.

The hotel is in a historic building and centrally located in Ghent. It is walkable to all major sightseeing destinations. Our room has a beautiful view of St Nicholas Church, and the square in front. The room was quite stylishly decorated with high ceiling but the. Shower and wash basin are on the upper level. Maybe inconvenient for some people. At least the toilet is on the same level as the entrance. My room was a bit small, only suitable to have two cabin size luggage opened at the same time. Overall it is a lovely hotel and really added to our two days stay in Ghent.

房間面積雖然有點小，但挑高很高，房間窗外對面就是教堂，welcome letter絕對的哈利波特風，房卡也是滿滿的設計感。

客房略小，但是由於是古建築現代化改造的也可以理解。地理位置而言在根特算最好的了，樓下就是超市，對面還有麥當勞，以及根特唯一的出租車上專用上車點，方便去火車站。酒店的早餐唯一優勢就是時間比較早，相比外面的早餐店。總之早去根特還是會選這家店。

Le top du flop . Chambre sombre et petite , décorée comme un musée . Peur de casser un objet , pas de place pour mettre nos affaires . Idem dans la salle de bain . Petit déjeuner buffet( 35€ ) très cher par rapport aux produits proposés et au peu de choix . En plus , personne préposée au petit - déjeuner peu aimable et touche la nourriture ( jambon fumé ) lors du réassort sur les plateaux sans mettre de gants . Ce qui est contraire aux règles d’hygiène les plus basiques . Bref , même gratuitement nous n’y retournerons pas .
