public spa is wonderful the bathroom in the room was clean but needs to wear good smell as it has unpleasant smell wonderful location to enjoy matui

Room was spacious and clean. About 15 min walk to nearby Tenjin area. Would recommend this hotel!

Hotel is small and not enough space for opening the luggage bags. Room is tidy but the location a bit far from Metro station

Hotel Torifiti is about 7 minutes walk from Gion Station. It's located off the main street. I chose it as it has an onsen. There's a quite a number of restaurants and a couple of convenient stores located within walking distance from the hotel. English speaking staff and clean facilities.

The location is convenient around 15 mins walk to the hakata station. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and food. Surrounding environment is safe.

Nice hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. A few minutes walk from metro.

Room is big and spacious. Location is in an alley but can be located easily, 7 mins walk from gion metro from exit 6. Theres is abit of dirt but overall is satisfactory!

Hotel was conveniently located, cozy room that looked decently new. However, cleanliness is an issue. Light switches were oily and uncleaned, same for the table. The toilet also has a stale pee smell coming from the drain.

Good hotel, modern, clean. Small room, but entirely typical for Japan. Good size double bed for Japan standards. Location in GION is close to temples and public transport, worked well for us, a bit more of a historic and quiet area, which we liked. Breakfast was fine but nothing exceptional. Public bath is a nice thing to include, and liked that you can check how busy the bath, laundry and breakfast room are from your room's TV. Staff were friendly with my 2 year old, but it's not particularly set up for kids (eg no little playroom) but we didn't spend much time in the hotel anyway, so no problem.

Stayed here 6 nights Quiet area... About 5min walk to 2 different subway stations. Room was small, cozy. Not much storage space for your bags/luggage. If you like puffy pillows, might want to request more pillows (pillows are kinda small) I'd stay again

The room was tidy and clean. Location is somewhat far away from the station but it is also away from bustling area. If you are finding serene and quiet place, recommend this place.

1. Staff was nice. It would be better if their English or Chinese could be improved. 2. Extra tax had to be paid for each adult, whereas other hotels in my trip did not require.

The temperature of public hot spring is too hot, others are perfect!
