Elia 1968 Cave Houses

A total hidden gem! So pleased to have found and booked this amazing place. 10 minutes walking from Oia and it’s beautiful maddeness! A calm, relaxing, chic haven with an outstanding host. Seriously if you’re looking for a cool base to explore from this is it!! The very best breakfasts delivered to your door, nespresso coffee machines, comfy beds, lovely robes, clean towels and a host that goes out of her way to make you feel special. We stayed in the top floor house with its own jacuzzi, perfect for hopping into after a day of exploring. The cave house is close to three lovely restaurants and located in picturesque village just outside oia. There’s is a small supermarket close by and a bus stop at the top of the road. (We loved jumping on the bus and visiting the top spots). A much cheaper way of getting around. Katarina, the host organised our transfers, trips, restaurant bookings (her brothers restaurant in Oia is fantastic) she even sorted an anniversary cake and card for me! It seriously could t have been better. A perfect choice x

What a gem of a place to stay for a week. The village has so much character, small distance from Oia. All in all a great location, away from the business of Oia. Katerina the host is very friendly and helpful. Goes over and beyond to make your trip more pleasant. The apartment is well cleaned and your asked for fresh towels every couple of days. Cave house was so roomy, and we benefited from the lovely jacuzzi. In fact the BEST restaurant we ate at during our trip was a door stop away from the house, called Lefkes. We had a wonderful holiday!

The owner set up transportation from the airport for us at a reasonable price, met us at the bus stop, gave us a short tour so we had our bearings, and saw us to our room. She made great suggestions, and made sure everything was great the whole time.

The Elia Cave houses were excellent just a 10 min walk to Oia. Kathleen (the host) was far above amazing. She arranged taxi for us from the airport and to the sea port on our departure. She even arranged a table reservation at a restaurant nearby and was very helpful in answer any questions we had. The house itself was very clean and all the basic amenities were available at our dispense. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Santorini. This little town of Finikia is awesome and is not overcrowded with tourist.

Séjour très agréable avec un accueil attentionné ! Jolie maison grecque typique à proximité d’Oia (accessible à pieds). Je vous recommande cet hébergement !

Katerina su anfitrión es maravillosa, muy atenta a cada necesidad, nos orientó en todo lo relacionado con movilidad, comidas, lugares para visitar, pero por sobre todo una muy linda disposición y actitud, el hospedaje muy buen ubicado a 15 minutos a pie de Oía y a 10 de la Parada de bus !!! Volvería sin duda!!
