Avoid room 5. The bed was clean and carpet looked ok BUT it needs a very thorough deep clean. The fridge was quite revolting, the windows had finger/forehead marks on them, some surfaces were noticeably dusty etc etc etc. Just too much to list. The room felt and smelled damp - my clothes smelled musty after just a couple of days when I returned home. But worst of all was the bathroom. Odd unmatched tiling, some of which isn't even grouted; paint peeled off in one area; thick black corners on the sealant in the shower; cobwebs on the ceiling....and so on. I didn't even want to use the bathroom so on my second morning when I needed to wash my hair I decided I'd rather cut my stay short and came home ( 150 miles away) 2 days early rather than stay there any longer. The bathroom felt as if it was, at best, part way through having work done and rates no stars at all, not the advertised 4 stars. The room should be closed for thorough cleaning and renovation before ever being offered to guests again. A few photos attached but the whole room felt equally grim Breakfast was actually overly plentiful but nothing really tasted of anything which was sad. Quality rather than quantity would be so much preferable. The owners were friendly enough but it is clearly no more than a business to them, just processing people through. I definitely couldn't recommend this property and it certainly does NOT deserve 4 stars!

Arrived and left straight away. Very deceiving pictures on their website. Old, tired & not clean at all. Bed state high quality but ours was disgusting. Base was on the floor, all frayed and stained. Mini fridge was dirty. Place smelt damp and musty. And thick dust everywhere. Emailed the owners and they didn’t even bother to reply to me. I wonder if they are used to this happening?

We stayed here for one night whilst walking the Welsh Coast Path - whilst the room was ok and clean it was very dated and in need of a refresh! There was paint peeling off in the bathroom. It was comfortable enough but breakfast was just average. It was fine for just one night!!

Comfortable and clean.Although they were dealing with a family emergency and were fully booked they gave us a warm welcome. The room as clean and comfortable with a very useful fridge and microwave. The en-suite was clean and worked well. The Wi-Fi worked fine. There is ample parking. The sea is just a short drive away with a beach which is covered at high tide so best to check the times of the tide. The breakfast was fine. For an evening meal there are good restaurants nearby

It was a good size room, easy parking, fridge, microwave, lots of electrical outlets. No safe. Plenty of hot water. Fast WiFi. Comfortable and clean. The owner told me of a good place to eat. Would stay here again.

We stayed here for the weekend attending a friends wedding! We could not thank Howard and his team enough! Everybody was so friendly and really made you feel at home. The rooms were very spacious, the beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was very powerful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend! The rope swing in the garden just topped off the stay for our daily entertainment!
