When we arrived, I asked about laundry and was told "yes" they had laundry and it cost $1.50 p/load - all quarters. I asked if they had a change machine and she replied "no." I asked: "how can guests do their laundry if you don't provide a change machine? People don't walk around with that many quarters." And the female at the desk replied "well, we don't have one." And the male replied "stuff happens." Very snotty - the both of them! I did not appreciate their snide, RUDE attitudes one bit! I've been coming to Hampton Inn for years and never had such horrible treatment. Plus, the door to our room was very difficult to unlock; the entry light was burned out, and there was mold around one section of the tub! This is unacceptable!! Then, the elevator doors are a mess - like someone ripped off the ads and the carpet is very worn and needs to be replaced. Oh, and we couldn't use the pool - they were doing maintenance. I completely understand maintaining a large hotel; however, wouldn't it make more sense to do it in the off season - not in JUNE. I really feel like a good portion of my money should be refunded for all the reasons listed above.
