Also ... wo soll ich anfangen ... Eingecheckt und Zimmer 100 bekommen ... Zimmer 100 befindet sich im Erdgeschoss direkt neben der Rezeption und hat ein Fenster mit Blick auf die Hauptstraße ... Wenn Sie das ständige Geräusch von zuschlagenden Türen mögen, Hören Sie große Gruppen, die sich im Rezeptionsbereich unterhalten, und ständigen Lärm die ganze Nacht über, dann ist dies das richtige Zimmer für Sie andere Optionen in der Umgebung!). Erwähnenswert ist, dass WiFi an der Rezeption funktioniert, aber nicht einmal bis zu Zimmer 100 reicht, das etwa 5 Meter von der Hauptrezeption entfernt ist! Kein toller Aufenthalt ... Nie wieder !!

The hotel is older like most in Edinburgh so I wasn’t surprised. But the mattress needed to be replaced, it was saggy in the middle and left me with an achy back and hip. Fortunately I was only there 2 nights. There was also mold in the bathroom which is typical of Scotland because it’s so wet, however, in better well run hotels they would deal with the mold and not let guests experience it. The internet was out both nights I was booked and my room was all the way at the back of a long hallway behind a door when i opened the hall door to find my room it was pitch black. The only way to see to put my key in the door was to hold the hall door open. I asked an employee where the light was and he said it should come in automatically, he said he’d fix it. It was never fixed during my stay.

We were lucky to have two days of clear sky and had a really great time. The hotel suited exactly what we needed for one night. Nice breakfast and helpful staff. It was like waking up and heating the city. Very close to the famous Dean ville, Castle, Haymarket station and airport. The building gives you the modern and classic vibe which was justwhat we were looking for. Definitely see you soon. Ps- sorry about the photos 🙏🏼

Not a ‘boutique’ hotel as described. Very small rooms, mattresses are terrible and everything is worn out. Most things need replacing and updating. Totally overpriced for what you get. Asked for a different room twice

Awesome location and very helpful staff. Newly renovated room equipped with good heating and comfortable beds. I'm especially amazed by their Scottish breakfast - they are really tasty with a lot of choices. Will definitely stay here again if I get to stay in Edinburgh in the future!
