Tres bonnes hotel

Das Hotel ist sehr gut mit dem ö.V. erreichbar. Optimal gelegen. Belebte Studentengegend, dennoch sind die Zimmer sehr ruhig. Gute Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe, oder die Möglichkeit in Migros oder Denner sonst etwas zu kaufen.

Alles top! Ich kann das SwissTech Hotel nur empfehlen. Modern, funktionell, sauber, bestens gelegen und zu einem sehr vernünftigen Preis. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Mit Parkplatz im UG (Spezialpreis über das Hotel), Metro Haltestelle vor der Tür, direkt am EPFL Campus. Supermarkt, Restaurant, Fitness, alles im gleichen Gebäudekomplex zu finden. WLAN Qualität sehr gut. Alles in Allem sehr empfehlenswert!

Das Hotel bietet keinen besonderen Komfort und einb Standard Frühstück, aber im Lichte des (für die Schweiz) günstigen Preises ist das ok. Man sollte vorher den Parkplatz im Parkhaus buchen, sonst muss man unnötigerweise 10 SFR pro Nacht mehr zahlen.

Die 14.00 Franken für das Morgenessen waren den Preis nicht wert! Die Auswahl am Buffet war mikrig. Die Bedienung war unfreundlich und mehr an ihrem Tablet als an der Kundschaft interessiert..Lieber an einem anderen Ort frühstücken.

Perfekte Lage für geschäftliche Übernachtung, Metro hält direkt vor dem Hotel, somit sehr gute Anbindung zum Bahnhof, Innenstadt von Lausanne…. Mitarbeiter-/innen an der Rezeption sind sehr freundlich, kompetent. Sehr herzlicher Empfang.

I checked in late as I was working until 1 am. The self checking system works but is not straight forward. I was feeling unsafe as someone was smoking in the lobby and followed me to my room. In the morning, I arrived for breakfast at 10.02 am and even if everything was still available, The lady had already cleaned and told me I could only have a coffee capsule as breakfast is until 10 am (a bit pricy for 16 CHF). This is unfortunately not my first bad experience in this hotel. It's very well located if you have to work late at EPFL but don't expect more.

My 2nd time staying here. It's bare bones--more like a dorm room than a hotel room. CONS: 1) Connectivity is poor. I can only connect my laptop through the hotspot on my phone, which isn't ideal as I'm here on business. 2) The store isn't open on Sundays. While this is typical for stores in Switzerland, the hotel is located next to a conference center. Where are conference attendees supposed to get food/drinks/etc? 3) Lack of outlets for charging. PROS: The location is convenient to the Swiss Tech Conference Center.

There were student parties and construction work going on. Also the light in my room did not work. Worse: I was denied breakfast for which I did pay

The staff at the reception were kind and very helpful. The room itself was large and for the most part very quiet. Two things however could be improved. I could only successfully connect one of my devices to the wifi, which was interesting since the property is called SwissTech hotel. The other thing is that the hotel should come up with a solution for the slightly smelly drain in the bathroom. I had to keep the bathroom door closed not to smell it in the room. There is a grocery store (Migros and Denner) very close to the hotel. There is a burger joint and a bar as well. And a nice gym. The metro literally stops in front of the building.

It has a good location, very near to the EPFL and a train station, below the building there is a big migros

The hotel is in the middle of the EFPL campus with a small adjacent commercial area and a tram stop right outside. Coming from Geneva, best to switch to a train that goes to Renens gare, where the tram starts.

I was attending an event at epfl so the location was perfect for me. The metro was a bit loud and it's right next to the hotel and the lively campus life also made it a bit noisy. But it also meant enjoying the campus atmosphere and restaurants and shops right there. The breakfast options weren't too many but all the available ones were delicious. The single room was spacious and clean.

This hotel is located very close to the main university campus in Lausanne. It is very well connected by metro to the city center and the train station with which to connect to Geneva airport. It has a very good quality hamburger restaurant just next to it that is open until late, a very useful resource. It also has great security since after a certain hour you can only access the hotel floor and the building with a code or the room card, which offers peace of mind to the guests. Overall it has been a very pleasant experience for a short stay. As an important note, I would recommend bringing a plug adapter as they are different in Switzerland. You can also ask for one at reception if you have forgotten, but I recommend bringing your own.
