booked the place on airbnb ....drove three hours to get here. When I arrived to check in they refused me because I was accompanied by my service dog . Nowhere on their site does it say Service animals are not allowed . When i spoke to the host on airbnb ...he informed me that he has used the place with his dogs This complex should be banned from airbnb

Today is my last day in this place. I have been here for a month and our stay here was amazing We are in one of the apartments on the second floor in front of the pool and the water park and the beach is two minutes away walking. I gave this place five stars because of its excellence in customer service, all outside areas are clean and well maintain and very importantly is a safe place I could not believe that the place was in bad shape before due to a bad storm which broke windows, took away part of of the roofs, and fill up the pool with sand. The maintenance of the place is on a daily day basis. Today I was talking to Amarilis; a manager that goes the extra mile to keep the village neat and help the guests in whatever they need. One of the best things that this complex offers different from a resort is that we can cook our meals, and also you can taste the real Dominican food in one of the several restaurants located in Bayahibe. We did not need a car because there is a bus that take us to the little town where we can enjoy little restaurants with oceanfront, you can eat daily fresh catch fish while listening to local singers at your table. The bus is empty and comes every twenty minutes, also taxi service is available to and from La Romana, Bayahibe, and Dominicus. There is a Jumbo supermarket in La Romana where you can buy your supplies at a reasonable price. The beach has a few rocks on some parts close to the shore however; there is a deck where you can go down the steps directly to the water. There is a restaurant that we went to once and the food was tasty and a bar there too. The restaurant and the bar belong to a third party, and we only went once because we cook at the apartment most of the time. The place is beside a well preserve wood forest park, which means that no one can build a hotel, past this village.

DO NOT BOOK this apartment - it is a scam. They cancelled 1 hr before we were due to arrive after not responding to requests to confirm check in details. Pretended that credit card details were incorrect as an excuse to cancel. Absolutely shocking. Nothing wrong with credit card - used same details to book last minute alternative. Believe they kept advertised after our booking was confirmed to get a higher price!

I booked this property with the option to pay at my arrival, we drove for 2 ours and when we finally arrived our reservation was cancelled because they try to charge my cc in the morning. No call, no email to tell us nothing. At the gate it was a mess to contact the owner and when she told us that our reservation was cancelled her solution was to book another apartment of her at double the price. Looks like is a scam she us to do as after you are there at night is impossible to find another place to stay.

The apartment was half the size of the one booked, it was dirty and with breaking furnitures

I made a reservation for this property, the reservation was confirmed and when I was on my way there, the host called and canceled. I was already on my way so I had to find a place last minute.

The reservation was not organized, after a while it was fixed. The room wasn’t cleaned at all. We called and it was cleaned very well. The place is ok but the outside is marvelous. I would go back and recommend it to anyone.

The apartment definitely needs some updating. The bathroom, the kitchen, even some decorative elements were in bad shape. Communication with the person in charge was frustrating, he did not respond to my messages when I told him that there were no sheets or comforter for the sofa bed. The first night we had to share our sheets with the children and we sleep alone with the comforter. The next day they put the sheets on the door, but it is not fair that we had to spend an uncomfortable night. The most pleasant thing about the hotel is the beach and the pier. But the hotel must do something with the mosquitoes and insects, we could not enjoy the afternoons in the pool because the mosquitoes bite you constantly, even having breakfast in the restaurant it happened to us.

El departamento tiene muchísimas camas y es acogedor. Cuenta con dos baños y tres habitaciones. Un baño está dentro de uno de los cuartos. En mi opinión es muy buen complejo y apartamento. Hay que tomar en cuanta que tiene problemas con la limpieza del lugar ya que huele mucho a húmedo y encontré cucarachas en las habitaciones. No la pasé mal pero deben mejorar mucho los apartamentos. Los precios son altos del minimarket. El personal de la recepción debe mejorar ya que intentan aprovechar de los turistas en los precios de actividades. Por lo que no recomiendo hablar de actividades con ellos. Los pagos no son como dicen que es al llegar te cobran en la tarjeta.
