The experience started nice with a helpful front desk representative. When we went into our room it was 80 degrees and the A/C was running non stop with warm air. We adjusted the thermostat as best as we could and left the hotel. We came back 3 hrs later and the room was now 82 degrees. I called front desk and was advised the A/C runs via a boiler and the only way to cool the room is to open the window. Now, keep in mind there are notations around the window that the window does not open for our safety. After battling the painted closed window we were able to "open" the window, about 1-2 inches. It did nothing to help with the heat. We were also disappointed with the breakfast. The restaurant was under construction so we were placed in a small, awkward room. There were no workers in the room so we waited almost 15 min just to get drinks. The food was not good. It was a paid breakfast, not a free continental. Totally not worth it.
The hotel seems to be getting some upgrades. However the staff need better hospitality training,and the A/C needs replacement.
