Ausstattung: Das Hotel wurde vor mehr als zehn Jahren gebaut und die Einrichtungen, insbesondere die Aufzüge, sind etwas alt. Hygiene: Ja. Umgebung: Nicht weit vom Südbahnhof Datong und den Yungang-Grotten entfernt. Service: Gut, reagiert auf alle Anfragen. Das Frühstück ist gut, der Wein ist alt und duftend, das Restaurant ist geräumig und hell und die Gerichte sind reichhaltig.

Terrible service provided. The hotel charged us 400 RMB deposit but didn't refund us after check-out. The customer service is really difficult to reach and one staff refused to communicate with us although the hotel still owes us the deposit...

The service was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful despite the language barrier. There isn’t very much around the area but the stay was comfortable. The bed could be more comfortable and offer better refreshments in the room. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Although our stay was only one night, the experience was very satisfying. The room is very nice and equipped with everything we needed (toothbrush, soap, shower and bedroom slippers), and the staff was always very friendly.

Great value for money. Gave loz of goodies as welcome gifts. Even helped my girl lineup all her dolls on her bed. Must try the Chinese restaurant at level 7...Peking duck and lamb soup very good

Nice breakfast and good location, easily accesible from the city center and the station. Hotel and rooms look luxurious and the front desk staff is very helpful and attentive. Nice breakfast with a lot of options, both Western and Chinese. Definitely a place to come back!

I loved this hotel. It has an old-fashioned charm that made me feel right at home. My room was very large, comfortable, and well-equipped. All of the staff and service people were extremely courteous from start to finish. The Chinese restaurant on the 7th floor has a great choice of dishes! Highly recommended, and excellent value for money. A great base for exploring the sights around Datong.

Excellent value for money. We had 2 bedrooms and a lounge. 2 bathrooms and plenty of space. The hotel is looking a bit old now but it was clean enough.
