Dieses Hotel ist einfach fantastisch! Das Zimmer war groß und sauber. Die Lage war gerade weit genug außerhalb der Altstadt, um ruhig zu sein, aber nicht zu weit weg, um unbequem zu sein. Viele Restaurants und Fahrradverleihe in der Nähe. Und der Besitzer war super hilfsbereit und freundlich. Er spricht auch Kantonesisch! Aber das Beste war August, der Hund. Er hat mir jeden Tag den Tag versüßt. Ein absolut bezaubernder Hund.

Entspannte Atmosphäre in der Nähe der antiken Stadt. Auf der Karte scheint die Unterkunft innerhalb der antiken Stadt zu liegen, tatsächlich liegt sie jedoch außerhalb, da sie durch einen Militärstützpunkt getrennt ist, den man nicht zu Fuß durchqueren kann. Berücksichtigen Sie dies bei Ihrer Buchung. Trotzdem ist die Lage sehr praktisch: Zwei Tore sind nur 10–15 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und das Gasthaus bietet einen fantastischen Blick auf die Berge. Die Gastgeber sind freundlich und hilfsbereit, obwohl sie kein Englisch sprechen, und ihr Hund ist supersüß und liebenswert.

The nice hotel room was quiet and the bed was spacious. We booked it because we thought it was in the old town (as indicated in the listing) but far enough to not be very noisy. Turns out it lies outside of the old town's city walls. It was a 20-30min walk along a busy street with lots of traffic (not really a pedestrian sidewalk) to reach the main street within Dali Ancient City. Therefore, I wouldn't book the room again. But the owners are nice and their dog is very affectionate. Bonus points for that. :)

The room was big and nice, the staff is also very nice. The public spaces don't seem to be well taken care of, there's a lack of order. There were a lot of shampoo and soap bottles in our room, but many of them were empty (there was no shower gel for example). There was a nice tea set, but the tea bow was almost empty.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here as it felt like home the first moment I stepped in. Close proximity to the Ancient City and other nearby quaint villages allowed me to explore freely as a female solo traveller + met many interesting new people. Lovely people running the inn - extremely responsible, helpful and hospitable. Frequently had meals and played games with them, taught me a bunch about Dali, Dongbei and Guangdong culture. Also appreciated how clean the place was! Overall, great place and would stay again :)

I'm so grateful to have found this wonderful home stay! You could reach the host via WeChat,he show us the way to inn and help us with the luggage when Didi drop us in wrong place.Room is very comfortable,you can enjoy the tea with mountain view. My hosts have been absolutely delightful, going out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. From offering me a warm cup of tea to getting to know each other and sharing stories, they've made me feel like part of the family. And of course, their adorable dog has been a constant source of joy and companionship! The little touches, like providing comfortable sandals when my shoes were wet, have really made a big difference. This home stay truly feels like a home away from home, and I couldn't be more thankful.

My family and I had a pleasant stay here! Room was clean and well kept. The person in charge was very friendly and helped us a lot when we asked about going to Cangshan mountain and other things. It's a 10 mins walk away from the Dali Ancient City which is good as it is quieter. We will definitely come back here if we're in Dali again!

Traveling to Dali for the first time, I did make a right choice. The location of the hotel is perfect, 10 mins walk to the Old town, many food shops around for breakfasts and dinners. The utilities are perfect with washing machine, warm bed heater and air condition, and even the electric toilet with heat system. Hot water system is good too. The owner and staffs are friendly, we got a free drive from Kunming train station to the hotel and get support from the for good car booking service. I really enjoy the days in Dali.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Yiban Inn. The room is as what you see in the photos. But while simple, they provided all the essentials you will need. And the electric blanket was truly a lifesaver during the chilly december nights. BUT what truly set this experience apart was the warm and welcoming atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a friend's home. The approachable and comfortable vibe made it feel more like hanging out with friends than staying with owners. They gave us tips and advices, and great recommendations that allowed us to enjoy our experience in Dali to the fullest. We will always remember our time sitting at the courtyard with 毛毛, 三花 and of course our favourite 八月!

It was a very good experience. The owners are extremely friendly and treat you like a part of the family. I‘ve very much enjoyed the evening with them. The room is very comfortable and the house is decorative and interesting. I‘ve slept very well and I felt fresh and healthy in the morning. The location is also good, close to restaurants and in walking distance to the ancient town. I would enjoy to stay again!
