Such a great hostel! Really good vibes, perfect chilling spots and very comfy beds. I was with a group of friends but it would be good for solo travellers too as we met loads of people. Very clean and the staff are super friendly and helpful. They also have free yoga classes on Thursday and Friday mornings if you love yoga!! Couldn’t recommend more.

Die Einrichtung im Zimmer ist praktisch und einfach im Ethno-Stil. Das Badezimmer ist sauber und geräumig, der Blick aus dem Fenster im 4. Stock ist offen und die Luft im Zimmer ist frisch und frisch. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und lecker und die Gesamtwirtschaftlichkeit übertrifft die Erwartungen...

Arrived at midday. Room available 15 minutes later. Nice room if a little warm. Nice bathroom though shower in bath with high side. Breakfast good. Boxed breakfast for early leaver could be booked the day before. It was not so good. On return after the Inca Trail, luggage was in our room. Room was an upgrade with a seating area. Bathroom very nice with freestanding bath. Excellent location.

The property was fairly clean and staff were very attentive. It really helped that a lot of staff were fluent in English, especially the receptionist. The rooms were nice and well equipped with entertainment, endless coco tea bag’s and coco chocolate to assist with acclimating due to the high altitude. The hot water in the thermoflask was also a nice touch Negatives: was slight far from the main plaza and city centre if you want to go on a late night stroll. It was take you about 20-25 minutes to walk down (the hill) but walking back up I suggest you take an Uber, which is very cheap at only 10-12 soles The first room we stayed in, I don’t think it was throughly deep cleaned as there was bits and pieces of sand inside the bed sheets and floor (probably from other guests who did Huacachina the day prior). The beds were a bit hard/uncomfortable to sleep on - and I sleep on very firm beds coming from an Asian household 😩 The bathroom vents echoed and you will hear your neighbours very clearly. Most of the rooms open up into the inner lobby space meaning you will not receive natural light or views from outside - a bit trippy as you lose track of time/body clock. Overall it was a pleasant stay, staff made it better but property cleanliness could be improved

I stayed here with a friend for a couple of nights at the beginning of June and can’t recommend enough. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Clean and modern we really enjoyed the room and the facilities of the hotel. Thank you so much. Can’t wait to return

Incredible, absolutely wonderful experience. Words cannot express my gratitude towards Giara,Walter and all the wonderful stop at Katharine Apt Hotel for taking such good care of me. First of all the location is very close to the airport, a nine dollar taxi ride. It is perfectly located on the main street close to everything at walking distance. Major grocery stores 11 minutes away main Plaza 10 minutes away, walking, Mercado San Pedro 15 min walking. My check in experience was a breeze. I just notified the business right next door, Peru, rail office who got Giara who is a sweet, adorable person. Right away I knew I was in good hands. She showed me my apartment which was apartment number nine. I had two beds and they were so clean. Pillows and sheets smelled impeccably clean. The place was beautiful. I had a kitchenette with a microwave and stove top. I had limited kitchen equipment, but I asked Giara to provide me with more things and she was helpful. I had piping hot water, toilet paper, and even a wonderful kettle to boil my tea. They provide you with a breakfast menu and every morning I texted her on WhatsApp to tell her what I wanted for breakfast. They had good options. It was so nice to have someone make breakfast for you. She was so sweet what really impressed me however, was for the first day I arrived in Peru I had a severe case of altitude sickness. It was so bad I seriously thought I was gonna die. I wasn’t able to walk get up or do anything so Giara called the doctor to come and visit me. Her partner Walter went to the drugstore and got me an oxygen tank and some altitude sickness pills. The doctors visit and the pills cost me $70. The doctor also gave me pills included in all this price incredible within two days I was all better and able to go to Machu Picchu. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without them because I am a solo traveler. There is nothing more scary than getting sick when you’re in a foreign country thank you Giara, Walter, and all the staff at Katharine apt hotel. I will be back, and I will always stay here. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Cusco. The price is incredible, the staff go above and beyond for you, and if it rains, they even provide umbrellas! What more can you ask for? I am so grateful I stayed here. ❤️

Ausgezeichneter Service! Ich fühle, dass wir wie eine Lizenz behandelt wurden! Bestes Frühstück, das ich je im Hotel hatte, half uns mit Gepäckspeicherung und COVID-Test für unseren Flug. Frank und die andere junge Dame sind die besten! Wanderweite von Touren und Hauptplatz . Die Zimmer sind sauber und komfortabel.

Carmen, ihre Familie und das übrige Personal hier waren fantastisch. Wir hatten eine Gruppe von 15 hier zu bleiben und sie waren so hilfsbereit und untergebracht. Sie arbeiten so hart und sie Platz ist so willkommen und einladend aufgrund dessen. Wenn ich jemals in Cusco zurück bin, bleibt hier sicher!!

Das Hotel liegt 15 Gehminuten vom Hauptplatz entfernt. Es ist ruhig und ruhig, bietet aber einen hervorragenden Ansatz zur historischen Stadt. Das Restaurant hat jeden Morgen ein beeindruckendes Frühstück gemacht, und es hat sogar einen lokalen Handwerker, der Handwerke und Trinkets verkauft. We were in Cusco for what should have been an 11 day trip and turned into a 15 day trip due to Lima International Airport being closed for 3 days because of an airport runway accident. The hotel room was clean and the staff was completely amazing. We were able to store our bags during our trip to Machu Picchu. My brother left his phone in a taxi and they helped us get it back and arranged a meeting with the driver. After the accident they were able to shift reservations to allow us to stay for additional days based on when we were able to get out of the airport. The bartender staff was prompt and helped us with a variety of questions we had.
