Incredible, absolutely wonderful experience. Words cannot express my gratitude towards Giara,Walter and all the wonderful stop at Katharine Apt Hotel for taking such good care of me. First of all the location is very close to the airport, a nine dollar taxi ride. It is perfectly located on the main street close to everything at walking distance. Major grocery stores 11 minutes away main Plaza 10 minutes away, walking, Mercado San Pedro 15 min walking. My check in experience was a breeze. I just notified the business right next door, Peru, rail office who got Giara who is a sweet, adorable person. Right away I knew I was in good hands. She showed me my apartment which was apartment number nine. I had two beds and they were so clean. Pillows and sheets smelled impeccably clean. The place was beautiful. I had a kitchenette with a microwave and stove top. I had limited kitchen equipment, but I asked Giara to provide me with more things and she was helpful. I had piping hot water, toilet paper, and even a wonderful kettle to boil my tea. They provide you with a breakfast menu and every morning I texted her on WhatsApp to tell her what I wanted for breakfast. They had good options. It was so nice to have someone make breakfast for you. She was so sweet what really impressed me however, was for the first day I arrived in Peru I had a severe case of altitude sickness. It was so bad I seriously thought I was gonna die. I wasn’t able to walk get up or do anything so Giara called the doctor to come and visit me. Her partner Walter went to the drugstore and got me an oxygen tank and some altitude sickness pills. The doctors visit and the pills cost me $70. The doctor also gave me pills included in all this price incredible within two days I was all better and able to go to Machu Picchu. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without them because I am a solo traveler. There is nothing more scary than getting sick when you’re in a foreign country thank you Giara, Walter, and all the staff at Katharine apt hotel. I will be back, and I will always stay here. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Cusco. The price is incredible, the staff go above and beyond for you, and if it rains, they even provide umbrellas! What more can you ask for? I am so grateful I stayed here. ❤️

Carmen, ihre Familie und das übrige Personal hier waren fantastisch. Wir hatten eine Gruppe von 15 hier zu bleiben und sie waren so hilfsbereit und untergebracht. Sie arbeiten so hart und sie Platz ist so willkommen und einladend aufgrund dessen. Wenn ich jemals in Cusco zurück bin, bleibt hier sicher!!

Das Hotel ist generell gut, das Personal überaus hilfreich und kundenorientiert. Die Lage ist toll, nahezu in der Mitte der Altstadt, alle interessanten Punkte sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Frühstück ist ok. Die Zimmer sind sauber und hell, die Fenster können geöffnet werden. Zimmer mit der Endnummer 01 besser nicht akzeptieren, da es in Liftnähe ständig zu Lärmbelästigung, durch Koffer die über den unebenen Steinboden gezogen werden, kommt. Der Gang vor den Zimmern ist mit Teppich ausgestattet deshalb wird es immer ruhiger je weiter man vom Lift entfernt ist. Das Zimmer wurde gewechselt, es war absolut problemlos und ging sehr flott. In unmittelbarer Nähe findet man kleine Wäschereien, die, für ein paar Sol pro Kilogramm Wäsche, ihre Dienste anbieten. Abgeholt werden kann die Kleidung dann schon nach zwei Stunden, oder wird ins Hotel geliefert. Für einen Aufenthalt von zwei Nächten ist das Novotel grundsätzlich zu empfehlen.

Dieses Hotel liegt zwei Minuten vom Cusco Square entfernt. Es gibt viele Restaurants, Souvenirläden und Geldwechsler in der Nähe. Die Herberge nimmt eine abwechslungsreiche Route, um verschiedenen Menschen gerecht zu werden. Es stehen viele verschiedene Zimmer zur Auswahl. Es gibt Filmvorführungsräume, öffentliche Küchen und Yoga-Kurse, an denen Sie teilnehmen können. Das Personal ist aufmerksam und freundlich und stellt Ihnen die Sehenswürdigkeiten und berühmten Restaurants in der Umgebung vor. Der, den er mir vorgestellt hat, ist wirklich gut. Die Einrichtung im Zimmer ist praktisch und einfach im Ethno-Stil. Das Badezimmer ist sauber und geräumig, der Blick aus dem Fenster im 4. Stock ist offen und die Luft im Zimmer ist frisch und frisch. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und lecker und die Gesamtwirtschaftlichkeit übertrifft die Erwartungen...

Arrived at midday. Room available 15 minutes later. Nice room if a little warm. Nice bathroom though shower in bath with high side. Breakfast good. Boxed breakfast for early leaver could be booked the day before. It was not so good. On return after the Inca Trail, luggage was in our room. Room was an upgrade with a seating area. Bathroom very nice with freestanding bath. Excellent location.

This is a beautiful building in a great location. The doormen and reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean with most amenities. I was however quite shocked to find paper cups in the room to drink tea from. I’ve never come across that before! I had to put one inside another so’s it didn’t bend when I picked it up. The bed was large and comfortable although it was quite noisy from very early in the morning as breakfast starts at 4.30. Breakfast was adequate although we found it hard to get orange juice. Papaya was the juice on offer . The bar and restaurant were very good. A great hotel in a great location to explore Cusco.

Illa B&B sieht die Stadt Cuzco an und bietet uns den schönsten Ort, um in der Stadt zu bleiben, den wir hätten erwartet. Es ist zentrale mit Atemaussichten, hat den richtigen Preis und extrem hilfreiches Personal. Das kleine Frühstück auf der Terrasse jeden Morgen fügt noch mehr zu diesem schönen kleinen Hotel hinzu. Das Personal war willkommen und hilfreich und war immer bereit, mit jeder Aufforderung eine Hand zu leihen. Wir blieben hier vor und nach einem Reisen nach Machu Picchu und fanden es gerade den perfekten Ort zu bleiben. Wir würden dieses kleine B&B empfehlen, jemanden, der nach Cuzco für einen Urlaub Sie werden nicht enttäuscht. Vielen Dank von Scott und Jade Jungs :)

Such a great hostel! Really good vibes, perfect chilling spots and very comfy beds. I was with a group of friends but it would be good for solo travellers too as we met loads of people. Very clean and the staff are super friendly and helpful. They also have free yoga classes on Thursday and Friday mornings if you love yoga!! Couldn’t recommend more.

The property was fairly clean and staff were very attentive. It really helped that a lot of staff were fluent in English, especially the receptionist. The rooms were nice and well equipped with entertainment, endless coco tea bag’s and coco chocolate to assist with acclimating due to the high altitude. The hot water in the thermoflask was also a nice touch Negatives: was slight far from the main plaza and city centre if you want to go on a late night stroll. It was take you about 20-25 minutes to walk down (the hill) but walking back up I suggest you take an Uber, which is very cheap at only 10-12 soles The first room we stayed in, I don’t think it was throughly deep cleaned as there was bits and pieces of sand inside the bed sheets and floor (probably from other guests who did Huacachina the day prior). The beds were a bit hard/uncomfortable to sleep on - and I sleep on very firm beds coming from an Asian household 😩 The bathroom vents echoed and you will hear your neighbours very clearly. Most of the rooms open up into the inner lobby space meaning you will not receive natural light or views from outside - a bit trippy as you lose track of time/body clock. Overall it was a pleasant stay, staff made it better but property cleanliness could be improved
