Das Zahir Hotel ist nur wenige Stunden nach der Anreise zurück. Das Personal, obwohl freundlich und lächelnd, auch Gastgeber, ist absolut von der Verwaltung verlassen und lassen sie sich mit Wartungsfragen improvisieren und entschuldigen für die kollapsende Infrastruktur des Hotels. Keine Wärme oder sogar Warmwasser!!! Das ist richtig, das 4-Sterne-Hotel hatte Probleme mit ihren Wasserheizsystemen und für ein paar Stunden gab es einen Run um und nicht direkt uns sagen, dass wir für unseren 13-Nacht-Unterkunft in einem Hotel angemeldet als eins, wenn das Beste, Die Mitarbeiter haben wieder einmal ihre besten versucht, ich muss Santiago erwähnen, wer, wenn er aus, wenn seine Wege, um unsere Familie komfortabel zu machen, und dennoch, in Abwesenheit eines Managers auf der Pflicht, in einem Hotel mit vollen Kapazitäten beschäftigt, NO Manager oder Pflicht. Zahir bezahlt nicht viel Geld für eine Nacht. Es wird dir leid geben.

Selina was awesome. Super cool hostel, almost more of a hotel. They had an awesome co-working space for remote works, we didn't need it, but it definitely inspired me to look for a remote job when we got back. Room was clean, cool building with lots of services and a free walking tour, great location. My only complain would be that the free breakfast was pretty bad.

After a stressful drive from Guayaquil, we arrived to friendly, welcoming staff, delicious snacks, and hot tea. In our room there was a personalized card from the general manager and a beautiful spread of desserts. The hotel also went out of their way to accommodate a playpen and blanket for our 7 month old which she surprisingly slept amazingly in every night. We were able to see the river from our window which was very peaceful. The hotel is very quiet and relaxing. Although it was a short trip, we truly enjoyed our stay at Oro Verde Cuenca and are already planning our return!

We picked this hotel for the location and great reviews. The location is good, but the customer service at the front desk is very bad. First, at checkin they could not find my reservation until I provided a printed copy. Then the person replies “Oh, you booked thru the website.” Like that’s different from the usual way??? I don’t know. We go to our room, it’s nice, but the lamp on one side only works if you find the correct position for the cord. We see a bracket on the ceiling for a smoke alarm, but no smoke alarm. The safe in the closet is locked. On our way out to dinner, we stop at the front desk and ask them to unlock the safe while we are out to dinner. He says he will do it ‘right away’. I also ask about laundry service, and the front desk person says there is a price sheet in the closet. We thank them and leave for dinner. We return to our room after dinner. Safe is still locked. The guy at the front desk sees us return, and suddenly remembers he was going to unlock our safe “right away.” He comes up, unlocks the safe and leaves. There are no instructions to set a code, and setting a code is different from safes I’ve used in other hotels. I look for the laundry price list. Nope, nowhere in the closet. I hike back down to the front desk and try to explain there is no laundry price sheet in the closet. He follows me back up to the room, looks in every drawer in the closet. No price sheet. He tracks one down for me. Yes, these are minor inconveniences, and they were addressed (finally) but at unnecessary inconvenience to us. Thus the 3 star review. Hope other guests have a better experience than I did in my first two hours at this hotel.

Es befindet sich in einem Wohngebiet der Stadt, sehr ruhig, sicher und mit vielen Restaurants in der Nähe. Ankunft im Zentrum dauert wenige Minuten. In der sehr ruhigen Nacht. Frühstück ist vielfältig. Das sehr freundliche Personal. Die Rezeptionisten sind sehr gut aufpassen, sie machen sogar Aufgaben, die sie nicht am Abend zu erfüllen hätten, wenn es weniger Personal im Hotel gibt. Das WiFi funktioniert sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind nicht sehr groß, aber komfortabel. Es gibt eine Minibar in jedem Zimmer und eine Sicherheitsschachtel. Betten mit komfortablen Kissen und zusätzlichen Würfeln, wenn Sie sich kalt fühlen. In den Hotels in der Sierra von Ecuador ist es nicht üblich, Heizung zu verwenden. Es gibt in jedem Zimmer ein Arbeitstisch, und mit genügend Stromversorgung, ideal, wenn man für Arbeit geht. Es gibt auch im Lobby einen Computer für die Gäste. Ich war zweimal, die Dusche funktionierte zum ersten Mal sehr gut, zum zweiten Mal war weniger Wasserdruck, aber es funktionierte das notwendige. Es gibt Badegegenstände, die Beleuchtung des Badezimmers etwas dunkel. Kleine Details zu verbessern: Die Schranken und ihre Schachteln waren nicht gut geschlossen, die Fenstergarten können den Straßenlichteingang nicht vollständig abdecken.

Aleros is situated in the historic center of Cuenca, so you can reach most interesting places on foot. There is a beautiful patio in the building, and the rooms are spacious and cozy. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They serve a simple, but good breakfast. Although it was written on the website, there was a laundry service available, that was not the case. But there’s a laundry place just down the street, so no problem.
