NEVER 5 stars! The only positive thing is the helpfulness and kindness of the staff (Mrs. Olimpia for example) The room received was with an absolutely rotten mattress and pillows, yellowed and stained...the room was later changed precisely for this reason...with a superior one, free upgrade (to be fair) In the "upper" room, the air conditioning system does not work (it's cold like a freezer...something with the thermostat) and you can't control the temperature from the digital panels...surprisingly, it doesn't work, there are two of them, both broken. They sent a technician (with a lot of common sense) who had nothing to do and we came to two options: go on cold and get pneumonia or turn off the air conditioning completely and stay on the heat... we're only at 5 stars! 90% of the staff is of foreign origin, you don't manage to get along very well if you don't know English. (I finished a high school in English, but I wonder how mom and dad would have managed here?) The food from the Swedish buffet at the cherhana was served cold, decent but absolutely cold, all the fish and meat, and a draft with Ciuc beer cost 25 lei, and a bottle of Sole Recas wine 220 lei (a lot, a little...you decide every) I repeat, NEVER 5 stars!

I went to Lebada for the first time 35 years ago, when I was a child. Today, this wonderful place in the heart of the Delta has turned into a superb and luxurious 5-star resort. The experience is wonderful. The resort looks gorgeous with fabulous gardens and is located on the banks of the Danube. We found 4 outdoor swimming pools and one indoor, heated one. A spa center, gym. The complex has 4 restaurants, one Mediterranean, one Lebanese, one Japanese and one cherhana (fish restaurant).The food is 5 stars. The staff is extremely attentive and helpful and is there at any time to answer your questions or give you advice. It is a wonderful place for children, with playgrounds. The resort is not cheap, but it offers you a fabulous vacation! If you want an unforgettable experience, in which you will be pampered, do not hesitate to come and spend quality time.

I visited this resort on Easter time 2021,due to an hotel offer. I was imprisoned starting from terminal port where I was pick up and travel to hotel by boat. It is singular mode to reach the hotel, by boat. All procedure of boarding very good organize, like in the airport. The resort is very beautiful, with good food, clean rooms and receptive personnel. I recommend it for a vacation

This resort it's amazing. Extremely polite staff, carefully focused to your needs. Nice, clean, big and comfortable rooms. The breakfast it's absolutely amazing, one of the most varied in the world. The resort has inside and outside pools, spa, massage. The garden it's very big and very beautiful. It's a must to visit this resort!

An absolutely beautiful place to go with friends and children. Free and safe parking at Murighiol and then a 40 minutes boat trip to the hotel. Our 7y olds were already amazed. Very nice rooms, comfortable beds and good shower and bathroom facilities. The AC was working just right, an absolute must have during this heatwave. There is a good variation of pools outdoors and 1 indoor pool. There is also some entertainment for the kids, even though that offer could be improved. The main restaurant offers also the really good breakfast buffet upstairs that caters for a broad variety of taste. For lunch and dinner it's downstairs and offers a good variety again. In the evening there is life music outdoors [at least during our stay] and you have Danube view. We did not test the Japanese Restaurant, but liked the Lebanese one very much. It offers indoors and outdoors seating with Danube and little harbour views. All places seemed to have nice and very attentive waiters. unfortunately there are not always enough of them and that, on very rare occasions, shows some slippage in the quality of service. The hotel offers some tours to various attractions of the Danube delta. If possible get a group together with some likeminded people and rent a boat with a "driver". This is exactly what we did. It was cheaper and much more flexible, creating your own individualised tour. Highly recommended! Don't forget to pay the Riverside SPA at least one visit. It's well worth it! We stayed as a group of friends with children and all had an amazing time! A final word about mosquitoes. Between about 9 and 10 PM all outdoors areas had an invasion of those little suckers. We came well prepared but a bit more could be done by the team in the restaurant areas. Their attempts were a bit halfhearted. Room for improvement is around the provision of child entertainment sessions. We've seen much, much better in other resorts. Please extend the breakfast hours. It's currently from 8 to 10 AM only. Until 11 AM is the minimum expected. Also please, please, please signpost the departure area for the boat at Murighiol harbour much better. we waited in the wrong area for while before phoning for help. The Ponton had a large Lebada Resort roof, but the correct place was not signposted. We met others who did exactly the same. On our return journey we saw another family with their children sitting in the exact same but wrong spot waiting for pickup.

The resort is excelent in all ways, all the staff is friendly and very helpful. It is very clean, even the outside areas, leaves were being brushed more than once a day. The 4 restaurants offered a great variety of food and everything was very tasty.

Very nice resort, very well maintained gardens, good spa, comfortable rooms ( the top rooms). Now the bad things Starting with the moment you step on the property you are a turkey who has to leave all his feathers (mean money) there, except the case that you have arrived with your boat there, you have to pay 250 EURO/hour to rent a boat from the resort in order to visit something in the Delta, if you try to find a boat from another source you have to pay every time you get the boat on shore between 1000 and 1500 ron. The restaurants are really nice, breakfast is good, good food all others meals but.... the price, .... the prices are huge and again you can't go anywhere else to eat because you have to pay 250 EURO/hour the boat. And now the big ending, we have booked Bungalow witch is 300 Euros per day, very nice room, big, cosy, whit a nice terrace directly on the river, and on the terrace a very nice hot tub. So far all good, the surprise was at check out when we found out that we have to pay extra 250 Euro for using the hot tub three days.

Lebădă Resort is a modern and very well organised resort located on an island at the crossroad of Old Danube with Sulina cannel. It is unique because it had a real 5 star standard in an wild sorounding. The 3 restaurants are offering different atmosphere but very good menus. All the stuff l is very kind and proffesional: - reception desk is perfect; - Nepales and Sri Lanka employees are very polite; - people like Ionuț or Petru are welocoming you at the main Lebada restaurant; - Costică and Traian as pilots of the boats and very knolegeble of the labirinth of Danube Delta; - Ana from concierge is the soul of the resort and Ana organising the evening fire is the smile of it; - the chefs from EL FOUAD Restaurant: mr El Fouad and Mohammad are cooking the best Lebanese food in Romania. The accomodation and the Spa facilities have very good standards, too.

The place is wonderful. The food is delicious. The rooms were very clean and beautiful. Everything was great there. The breakfast was great with so many options. I definetely recommend this place. Their peacocks are so beautiful and graceful.

Great hotel room, very clean - this was the single thing we enjoyed here. We stayed here 4 nights (Mo-Fri), on all afternoons there weren't any clean towels at the pools area. The management response: there is a problem with the towels. Even better, on the first day we had to go in the hotel room to get a towel, and the management response was: "oh, it's good you had a room close to the pool" :( The second day a glass held by a waiter got broken in a high circulated and slippery area (next to the indoor pool, an outdoor jacuzzi and pool), a guest prevented some kids from stepping on the broken pieces, the same waiter arrived after 3-4 minutes with a broom to clean, but people were still moving in the area. My husband came out of the indoor pool with our 3 years old and stepped into a chip, bled for some minutes - we asked for some water resistant patch - we received one, after 30 minutes waiting and it was a regular patch, OF COURSE. The morning after, we reported this incident to the management (concierge manager, I think - an unlettered, slick lady, with no respect for the guests) and received no apologies, just "we should create a rule for this kind of situations". After we got this answer, we didn't even bother to address the management, so we waited for 20 minutes after arriving at the restaurant to get some menus, got some drinks that we didn't order (but had to pay) at one dinner party, waited for the reception staff for 15 minutes to arrive for the check out (even we were the only guest to check out at 8 a.m.), and, to top it all, almost left the resort without our luggage, although it was the resort staff who was supposed to get it on the boat.

The location is nice, however it is not well-maintained. It is full of spiders here and the outside cleaning is lacking. We chose the bungalow (300 euro/night) and the shower is leaking. We announced them early in the morning and at 2 PM nobody came to fix it. They kept telling us they would come in a few minutes. At 3 PM we called and we were told that the maintenance people had already been here. However, nobody came. We were given towels in order to stop the water from entering our room..interesting solution. We spent the first day at the Danube waiting for the “maintenance people”. The place is very commercial, I do not recommend it.

Extremely disappointed of services ! We were 4 persons: me my wife and our kids (9-11). After boat let us on resort we had a free drink, nice people. After we all proceed to reception where we wait for 30 min to pay and receive all necessary. We had to leave and return after 1 hour because girls from reception cannot manage faster 10 families. After reception passed was already 1330 (lost precious time to spend with family in a 5 stars resort) . We had one lunch free from pachet, surprise we had to wait again because the restaurant did not know this (very poor coordination ). After lunch was already 1""500 and we want to go for swimming pool, as we had no room, there was no facility working to change our clothes and put them in a locker. After 30-40 min of annoying (ping-pong) from reception to pool bar, manager come and he could not make together with repair-man locker working. Finally one locker wanted to work and we join swimming pool around 16:30. You can image how was the mood after all this. We enjoy the pool and jacuzzi till 1800 when we had to wash, dry, change to prepare going back, as the boat was scheduled 1900. There were 2 sauna, both of them NOT WORKING, in one was 40 deg and the other one 60 deg and a smell of ointment, impossible to stay. The only good place was SPA, nice massage done by a Nepalese practitioner. aaaah, we try to play Pool, there are 2 tables, only 2 pool cue was OK, all the others missing the tip. My impression was that all stuff were at lowest costs, 5 stars resorts have different approach. Also ladies from reception need to be proper trained, rude answers have no place in a 5 stars hotel.

Very nice location, good food, helpfull stuff. The only things I can complain are the trips we plained and we were not able to do. They organize the trip only if minimum six persons are interested. A private trip doubles the price…Other trip companies must pay 250 $ just to take you from their deck (so, you must extra pay this amount of money)… I hope a solution will be found.

Nice facility , but POOR SERVICES !!!!!! Unless you want to spend 12 hours in a pool, you’ll get pretty quick bored to death. All the excursions on the canals advertised on site are just a way to catch your attention. The only available guide was in vacation , in the middle of July and any trip we were interested was not available unless 4 other guests were joining us. We stayed 4 days ( 3 too many) and were forced to schedule a private boat in order to see something. The only trip organized by the resort dumped us on the edge of a small village and showed us the direction of listed attraction. Incidentally, I asked about the village, history and vicinity and been told to search on google. Hidden expenses galore! To reach the resort was around $100.00 added on our exit balance. Concierge is a joke! What surprised me the most was the fact that even the employees do not believe that the place is a 5 star. Jokingly they give “ 3 Margarete “.Would I recommend this site ????? ABSOLUTELY NOT!

The place is nice but from my point of view far from 5*. Plusses Very clean, modern rooms, helpful staff, beautiful views of the delta and tasty food. Exceptional breakfast, maybe even a bit too much... Minuses There is no minimarket on the spot so you have to go to the restaurant even to buy a water?! This is a resort which is basically only accessible by boat so no way for the guests to go anywhere in case they need/want something else. Families with kids are visiting this place and kids need a lot of things so from my point of view a shop for necessities is a must (and it was there is all the 4* & 5* I have been to so far...). Accommodation- when you book there is no clear description of the rooms. We've booked a Junior Apartment and we ended up getting a room without balcony. We had to pay an extra for a room with a balcony. In a place like the Delta I'd say balconies are worth mentioning. Music - in the main restaurant they are playing extremely laud live music. Although everyone is booking tables as far away from the music they still don't get it that they should reduce the volume. Peacocks- beautiful birds but not native to the Danube and very laud in the early morning (5am...). Prices- kind of exaggerated, it feels a bit like they are trying to recover the investment very fast. All in all, nice place but we won't be going back.
