Maz und Alans Unterkunft ist genauso wie beschrieben, sogar noch besser als auf dem Bild. Wir hatten das große Glück, das Wochenende in diesem tropischen Paradies verbringen zu können. Wir fühlten uns wie zu Hause. Wir genossen die Geschichten und das Beste war das tropische Frühstück. Maz gab sich besonders viel Mühe, verschiedene Varianten anzubieten. Ich habe etwas probiert, was ich noch nie in meinem Leben gegessen hatte, es war so köstlich. Das B&B ist so nah am Strand, dass man einfach auspacken und entspannen kann. Maz ist so sachkundig, sie gab uns einige lokale Reisetipps. Wir werden wiederkommen!

Maz and Alan were great hosts. We enjoyed our stay in their cottage. Maz served various exotic fruits each morning. The location was great with walking distance to the beach and restaurants. We're would highly recommend!

Ein unglaublicher Urlaub wie in einer Familie liegt hinter uns. Top gelegen im tropischen Norden kümmern sich die Betreiber bei jedem Anliegen um Ihre Gäste. Das Cottage ist einfach traumhaft für einen Standort Urlaub und man kann auch mal einen Tag gar nichts unternehmen und einfach am Pool chillen. Größere Ausflüge sollte man erst vor Ort buchen wenn man die Gewähr fürs Wetter hat, wie z.B. Boots oder Flugtour aufs Riff oder Kurandatouren. Auch hierbei sind die Gastgeber gerne behilflich. Wir haben uns hier extrem wohl gefühlt. Danke für 10 schöne Tage.

Nachdem wir über 4 Wochen die Ostküste Australiens mit dem Wohnmobil bereist hatten, haben wir 4 Übernachtungen im BnB von Maz und Alan Searle genossen. Unser Gastgeber holte uns in Cairns ab und wir kamen im Paradies an! Unser Cottage war perfekt eingerichtet, es mangelte an nichts: Eine komplett ausgestattete Küchenzeile mit Kühlschrank und Microwelle, ein superbequemes Bett und ein schönes Badezimmer luden zur Übernachtung ein. Dazu gehörte eine wunderbare Terrasse mit BBQ. Zum Strand läuft man keine 100m. Maz und Alan sind an Gastfreundschaft und Herzlichkeit nicht zu überbieten. Es gab am Morgen ein außergewöhnliches, leckeres Frühstück mit tropischen Früchten, Joghurt und Cerealien. Das gemeinsame BBQ war eines von vielen Highlights . Unsere Ausflüge und zum Teil gemeinsame Restaurantbesuche wurden von den Beiden perfekt organisiert. Falls es uns je wieder nach Australien verschlägt: Das South Pacific BnB wird auf jeden Fall wieder dabei sein. Danke Maz und Alan ( keep on chilling)!

very comfortable, very generous and resourceful host. it felt that I have a mom to manage my trip (when I was confused) and remind me.... it was invaluable. will go again. Maz had any thing that I can possibly needed and shared with me generously.

We had 3 nights at Alan & Mazs BnB for our finishing stay in the Cairns area. Totally the best BnB experience we have had in Australia. The accommodation room was very well setup and comfortable. The fruit selection breakfast was delicious and expanding of the taste senses The relaxing facilities were peaceful and refreshing. And the conversations and advice for day trips from Maz and Alan, spot on. A delightful, interesting and well catered for BnB, in easy travelling distance to the Cairns area tourist destinations.

Just a little relaxing paradise. Beautiful personalised breakfast and gorgeous heated open pool. Lush well maintained garden with relaxing private pockets to read a book. The room was very well presented and comfortable, with plenty of thoughtful surprises. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. We loved it and we will be back if we return to the area.

A delightful bed and breaky where Maz takes hosting to the next level We stayed in a cottage for one night snd decided to come back for two more this week We stayed in the cottage which is delightful Everything you need is there to self cater if you want Lovely linen and towels An amazing breakfast made with passion with lots of interesting tropical fruits and cereals snd home made yoghurt and fruits and yummy baked goods The pool is surrounded by tropical gardens It’s an easy walk to palm cove where there are some yummy restaurants to choose from Highly recommended

We loved staying with Maz & Alan. We had a truly authentic tropical Australian experience. Their place is just off a lovely quiet beautiful beach, their garden is a tropical oasis with a pool and the breakfast tropical fresh fruit tasting platter could only happen in Queensland. The King Room is in a separate apartment from the main house so was very private, it had a simple kitchen for easy food preparation and the bed was really comfortable. Maz & Alan were delightful. We felt looked after and hosted, yet given plenty of space. We would definitely recommend spending a few days here. Thanks for everything. We may see you in Wellington some time .

An absolute gem in all aspects. Maz and Alan, who made us so welcome, provided all the information and help we required, including weather information so that we wouldn’t miss out on a visit to the Great Barrier Reef! The studio flat was very comfortable, had a well equipped kitchenette and private patio with BBQ. The beautiful garden, pool and gazebo added to the perfect holiday accommodation. Breakfast of tropical fruits, homemade yogurt and baked goods irresistible (I don’t normally have breakfast)!

Not a huge variety of things compared to some other areas but enough. Recommend the custard tarts.Another custard delicacy was this but cannot remember what it was called sorry.Just inside left of the entrance so easy to find.

South Pacific B&B is more like a Holiday with Friends than any other holiday accommodation I have stayed at. Maz and Alan are the perfect Hosts and were welcoming, generous and informative from the moment I arrived. I stayed in the Queen Room and found the accommodation and facilities to be first class with everything you would ever need. Immaculately presented, very private, and a great night’s sleep. Everything lived up to the reviews and Breakfast was excellent. The home is light, bright, and intriguing to say the least and it takes quite some time to absorb the sights and sounds, but once you do it is captivating. And the pool is amazing! I only booked the one night between other stays due to no overlap between bookings but in hindsight would have booked my entire stay in Cairns at South Pacific “First time, Every Time.” Maz and Alan are two Gems, and my only problem was tearing myself away from them and seeing the rest of Cairns 😊 Without a doubt the most relaxing B&B I have stayed at.

I stayed in the unit adjacent to the main house. Fabulous well-appointed unit with a private courtyard. No comfort spared, quality towels, and bedding, body wash and shampoo and conditioner, coffee machine, microwave, and an array of glassware, dining ware and cutlery. Maz provides an amazing brekkie at your time of choice on the main house verandah, fresh tropical fruit with homemade yoghurt, croissants or muffins, and of course a great coffee. A 30-minute beach walk to Palm Cove, yet a quiet place to retreat to from the hustle and bustle of Palm Cove. And don't forget the $1 oysters at Ellis Beach Bar and Grill on Sundays 1-4 pm only a $20 cab ride away :-) Fab stay, will be back!!

Alan and Maz thank you for your hospitality and care, we enjoyed our 4 day stay. Such a wonderful relaxing experience, I look forward to returning. Maz even organised a jump start on our hire car!! Above and beyond..
