Wir verbrachten hier im August 5 Nächte während unserer Flitterwochen, die eher eine Familienreise waren, da wir die Kinder mitbrachten. Es war der perfekte Ort zum Übernachten. Wunderschönes, geräumiges Apartment auf einer Etage mit zwei großen Schlafzimmern und viel Platz im Kleiderschrank. Fernseher zur Unterhaltung der Kinder, während wir uns fertig machten (Netflix). Schöne rustikale Küche mit viel Platz im Kühl- und Gefrierschrank. Atemberaubender Pool, den die Kinder liebten! Wir hatten ihn fast für uns alleine! Schöne Terrasse mit Tisch und Stühlen für Familienessen. Es war perfekt! Auswahl aus 2 Supermärkten innerhalb von 15 Minuten Fahrt. Bahnhof Rignano sull’Arno 10 Minuten Fahrt entfernt mit kostenlosem Parkplatz (um nach Florenz zu fahren). Wir konnten nichts bemängeln. Der Gastgeber, Noel und seine Frau, waren fantastisch und bei allem so hilfsbereit. Sie brachten eines Nachmittags eine Flasche Sekt an den Pool, um unsere Hochzeit zu feiern! Die Eigentümerin des Anwesens, Marisa, und ihre reizende Tochter waren auch unglaublich freundlich und wunderbar. Sie empfahlen ein fantastisches Restaurant namens La Bugia, das 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt liegt. Wenn Sie richtiges rustikales toskanisches Essen möchten, gehen Sie dorthin. Wahrscheinlich das beste Essen, das ich je in der Toskana gegessen habe, und ich habe im Laufe der Jahre verschiedene Orte besucht, darunter meine Lieblingsregion in Italien. Der Rindereintopf war himmlisch! Das Frühstück im Torrebianca war großzügig und lecker, mit einer großen Auswahl an warmen und kalten Speisen, die auf der schönen Terrasse serviert wurden. Eine atemberaubende Villa, perfekt gelegen, wunderbare Gastgeber, toller Pool und Annehmlichkeiten. Würde es auf jeden Fall für Familien- oder Paarurlaube empfehlen. Die kleine Einrichtung bedeutete, dass man viel Privatsphäre hatte und den Pool oft für sich allein hatte.

Nachdem wir bereits in 2023 die Anlage besucht hatten und leider keine Fünf-Sterne-Bewertung vergeben konnten, haben wir dem Hotel in diesem Jahr eine neue Chance gegeben. Auch in diesem Jahr werden es leider wieder keine fünf Sterne. Definitiv handelt es sich um ein sehr schönes Hotel und eine wunderschöne Anlage. Es ist sehr ruhig und es gibt definitiv ausreichend Parkplätze. Das Frühstück ist absolut gut und der Service hervorragend! Es gibt diverse Arten von Brötchen, süßes Gebäck, Käse, Schinken etc. Uns hat bei dem Frühstück nichts gefehlt. Da die Doppelbetten im Hotel - wie bereits in meiner Bewertung in 2023 beschrieben - nur 1,50m breit sind, haben wir uns in diesem Jahr für zwei Einzelbetten entschieden, welche wir dann zusammengeschoben haben. Unser Zimmer befand sich im Erdgeschoss, verfügte über ein Wohnzimmer, eine kleine Kaffeemaschine, einem Wasserkocher, mit einem leider nicht so gut funktionierendem Kühlschrank und einem Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten. Wer Medikamente im Kühlschrank kühlen muss, würde ich empfehlen, die Medikamente bei der Rezeption bzw. im Hotel-Restaurant abzugeben. Der Kühlschrank in unserem Zimmer hätte definitiv nicht ausgereicht. Das Badezimmer ist sehr schön und sauber, verfügt über eine Dusche und eine - im Gegensatz zu meiner Erfahrung im letzten Jahr - gut funktionierende Toilettenspülung. Duschgel, Conditioner und Body-Lotion sind vorhanden, Wattestäbchen hingegen nicht. Das Zimmer verfügte auch über einen kleinen hübschen Garten, welcher jeden morgen automatisch bewässert wurde. Leider war die Aussicht des Gartens nicht so schön (Aussicht auf eine Mauer), aber wir haben den Garten eh nicht genutzt. Eine Neuigkeit muss man jedoch wissen: In diesem Jahr gibt es leider kein Hotel-Personal mehr, welches einem beim Tragen der Koffer hilft! Vom Parkplatz aus, der mit Kieselsteinen ist, muss man die Koffer ca. 15-20 Stufen hoch auf die Hotelebene tragen. Meine Frage, ob es einen anderen Weg gibt, der ohne Stufen hoch führt, so dass man nicht die Koffer tragen muss, wurde nicht verstanden und somit nicht beantwortet. Da mein Mann und ich erhebliche Rückenprobleme haben, hat sich dann die Dame an der Rezeption letztlich angeboten, für uns die Koffer hochzutragen. Später haben wir gesehen, dass vom Parkplatz ein Kieselstein-Weg weiter hoch zum Hotel führt (einspuriger Weg). Wenn man diesen mit dem Auto hoch fährt, ist man direkt auf der Hotelebene, so dass man nur noch das Auto ausladen und ca. 15-20 Meter ebenerdig zum Zimmereingang die Koffer rollen muss. So haben wir es dann bei der Abreise gemacht. Als wir die Tage in der Toskana waren, hatten wir tagsüber fast 40 Grad. Selbst am Abend waren es immerhin noch ca. 28 Grad. Aus diesem Grund hatten wir die Klimaanlage im Zimmer genutzt. Leider funktionierte jedoch die Klimaanlage an zwei Abenden/Nächten nicht. Fast schon pünktlich ab 22.00 Uhr zeigte die Klimaanlage einen Fehler an und schaltete sich ab, so dass die Temperatur im Zimmer minütlich in die

Sehr gut, es lohnt sich, zu empfehlen.

Da der Einkauf bei ihnen verspätet war und ich nicht weitermachen wollte, fand ich ein nahegelegenes Hotel, toskanischer Landhausstil, allgemeine Ausstattung, ländliche Pension, Vorsicht beim Wohnen, das Haus liegt am Berg. Die Umgebung ist sehr gut, aber das Zutrittskontrollsystem ist etwas geschmacklos, vielleicht weiß ich nicht, wie man es benutzt. Das Wichtigste ist, dass ich ein Auto haben muss, wenn ich hier lebe.

We absolutely loved it here and so did our kids! After a heatwave in Sicily and lots of days on the road they really needed a chill and this was the ideal place to do it. We had a static caravan in the small camp so can’t comment on shared facilities as we had our own bathroom. The aircon in ours was great and the beds were comfy. The second bedroom has two singles and a top bunk but it had bars so no risk of a younger child (ours is 6) falling out. The pool is really really great! Kids pool has three little water slides and one that doesn’t go into the water. It has 2 sections. Big pool is massive. Both super clean, nice life guard and we had noticed in a review someone said the pool had every rule you could think of and lots of whistling. To be honest we didn’t experience that at all and the only rule we really saw was wear a hat. Other than that we didn’t see any issues. The animation team are there and they do provide the entertainment they say they do on the schedule but I have definitely seen better (quite often they are dancing on their own) they did do a Zorbing activity which was fab and no extra cost. They also had a foam party but sadly it was day after we left. You can tell they care about their jobs which is the main thing… all staff on this site from reception, to shop, to animation cannot be faulted on their politeness and want to make your holiday the best it can be. Tree houses were lovely, the kids loved them. The food in restaurant wasn’t much to write home about and we ate their one night but had quite a long wait and the meals came out at different times so after that we got takeaways which was better. 35 minutes from Florence is a massive push, both days we did it back and forth was an hour each way. Bus is easy to find, sticks to schedule and €3.50 a go so luckily I don’t think you would ever be stuck and need a taxi as that would cost a fortune. We liked camp shop and didn’t find it too overpriced. Washing machine was 6 euros to use and they gave us detergent for that cost. Didn’t bother with dryer as we had a clothes horse. Lots of lizards on the path but also lots of mosquitos being in a forest and all (maybe that’s just Italy though as we have had them everywhere!) take your Deet!

We chose this ”hotel” as it was in the countryside just outside of Florence. A small reception but the reception staff spoke good English and was efficient. The room we were given opened into a small (childs) room first which was furnished with a small wrought iron bed with no windows. The main bedroom had a very small window which looked out onto the Tuscan countryside. The bed was old and lumpy and needs replacing. The bathroom also had no window and is old fashioned. The Wifi did not work (we connected in the reception but as soon as you got back to your room, it disconnected). Also the TV did not work. The lady at reception came to look at it for us but said the maintenance guy had gone home. We had dinner in the restaurant which was nice and very Tuscan. It is not part of the hotel and is run separately. The biggest problem for us was the noise. Whilst it is not the fault of the hotel if their guests are noisy, we had a family above us and we could hear every word, laughter, screams, TV, toilet flush, kids thumping and running etc. This also continued during the night at all hours. Breakfast was the highlight. It is served in a separate annex to the hotel across the road. The buffet (covid buffet) was served to us and consisted of hot and cold food, fruit, pastries, etc. Of course lots of Italian coffee. As we were there in November the pool was closed but we could imagine this an idyllic spot in the summer. Shame about the Wifi and TV.

Quintessential Tuscan Experience! The views are stunning, and the cafe in the town of Donnini has some of the best pizza we had in Tuscany. Good: Parking onsite is convenient and easily accessible, breakfast buffet is great (especially the tiny pastries...so fresh!), grounds are relaxing, staff was very hospitable and provided a great map of the Sette Ponte Road (with 13 stops) for a single day road trip in the area that you are sure to enjoy! Bad: Furniture in our room could be updated (clean but felt a bit old/dingy), no soundproofing between rooms (its an old villa); pool was dirty so we passed on a swim Overall, this was a great value for the price, conveniently located, and had come personally recommended by a family we know that had such a good experience they made a 2 night stay into a full week.
