Erstaunlicher Aufenthalt. Mit Abstand das beste Resort. Alles vom Service, den angebotenen Einrichtungen, dem Essen, der Sauberkeit - absolut perfekt. Fantastisch für Kinder! Ein paar Dinge, mit denen ich nicht allzu zufrieden war, waren, dass für alle Außenschwimmbeckenböden im Westin nicht Ihr Standardfliesenmaterial verwendet wurde, sondern eines, das große Reibung an den Füßen verursacht. Sowohl ich als auch mein Kind haben unsere Zehenhaut nach 2-3 Tagen durch Herumlaufen und Spielen in den Pools geschnitten. Außerdem schließen alle Außenpools um 18:00 Uhr, wenn die Sonne in Griechenland im Sommer um 21:00 Uhr untergeht. Rettungsschwimmer zwingen Sie buchstäblich weg. Abgesehen von den obigen Kommentaren hatten wir einen fabelhaften Aufenthalt.

Das Hotel ist 3,5 Autostunden vom Flughafen Athen und circa 40 Minuten vom Flughafen Kalamata entfernt. Das Ressort selbst liegt direkt am Meer und circa 2 km von dem nächsten kleinen Dörfchen entfernt. Der Empfang war gut, wenngleich das Checkin Prozedere recht lange dauerte. Ich würde das Prozedere ehr entspannt für die Gäste komplett in der W Lounge statt stehend am Rezeptions-Desk gestalten. Nachdem der Checkin geschafft war ging es aber erstmal für ein kühles Getränk zur W Lounge. Insgesamt bietet das Hotel fantastische Ausblicke auf das Meer. Unser Upgrade als Ambassador Elite Member (inklusive Nightly Upgrade Award Einsatz) war wirklich toll. Wir hatten eine Villa mit Pool am Meer - top. Die Villa war in einem super Zustand. Einzig die elektrische Toilette im Master Bad ging leider nicht. Auch über 4 Tage versuche der Techniker konnten das Problem nicht beheben. Der Pool selbst, die Ausstattung und der private Strandzugang mit privaten Liegen sind herausragend und das Highlight der Villa. Das Welcome Amenity mit einem Aperol zum selbst mischen war gut gemeint - allerdings nichts besonderes. Ich hatte in mehreren Posts mal Champagner zB gesehen. Für dieses Ressort wäre das mMn ehr angemessen insb. für Ambassadoren. Der Geburtstagskuchen für meinen Mann wiederum war perfekt. Die Restaurants und Bars waren herausragend allesamt. Ausnahmslos war das Abendessen im Ressort von höchster Qualität. Tolle spanische Küche im Piqantro, tolle Lokale Küche im Parelia und super internationale Speisen in der W Lounge. Das Personal abends und mittags war ausnahmslos sehr gut. Einzig beim Frühstück hätte man den Service konsistenter gestalten können. Die Auswahl insb. Backwaren sind super. Ich würde mir allerdings mehr a la carte Optionen (Crêpes, Waffeln) wünschen. Besonders hervorheben wollen wir den Gästebetreuer Konstantinos. Er war einfach nur perfekt. Selten so eine persönliche, nette und jederzeit präsente Betreuung erlebt. Ein wahrer Gamechanger und USP für das Hotel.

Great location in Pylos with lovely view of the bay. You can swim from the hotel and see all the gorgeous coloured fishes. Our room was a good size with everything we needed and good shower. Good storage and a fridge. We loved our balcony watching the boats come and go. Easy parking and an amazing breakfast.
