I just want to say thankyou for a lovely experience I had at the bear , every staff member was so lovely and helpful , room was tidy , breakfasts was lovely to x and as soon as I arrived was welcoming x many thanks , Tim, Jayne, Ryan, Steve , Sarah , Ali , and I'm sorry I forgot the other lady doing the breakfast name, and also the receptionist with glasses ,also say thanks to the chefs for nice food I woukd defo recommend the bear many thanks again Denise

Myself and my friend visited this traditional pub on the high street of lovely Emsworth . It has an outside area too for seating . The food was of great quality with large portions and the choice was good , it is traditional English pub food . I had Mac cheese and my friend had a halloumi and pesto burger with sweet potato . We squeezed in dessert which wasn’t easy !! I had apple crumble and my friend had cheesecake , from a variety of desserts . Loved the food would recommend it and well priced too .

An diesem schönen Ort kamen wir zum Jubiläum unserer Ruby Hochzeit nur, um festzustellen, dass die 3rd Party-Reservierungsgesellschaft, die wir verwendeten und bezahlten, uns nicht angeraten hatte, dass das Hotel vollständig reserviert wurde. Glücklicherweise die Mitarbeiter des Resorts auf der Rezeption Adam und seine Frau Kollegen tut mir leid, dass ich nicht ihren Namen gebogen über den Rücken zu versuchen und ein Zimmer zu finden, das sie letztendlich mit viel Mühe verwaltet haben. Das Hotel war aufgrund einer Hochzeit und einer Privatparty übernachtet außergewöhnlich besetzt. Ich war sehr stressig und beunruhigt, da es für uns ein besonderer Tag war, aber sie machten alles mit Ruhe und Professionalität, um dieses Problem zu lösen, das NICHT nach dem Hotel. Zimmer & Aufenthalt war großartig. Ich empfehle dieses Hotel und das Personal nicht nur auf der Rezeption, sondern im gesamten Hotel während unseres Aufenthalts.

We were pleasantly surprised. We didn’t have high expectations bearing in mind its proximity to the A3, but we had an easy, pleasant check in, with full explanation. We were allocated a room on the first floor. On entry, we were surprised at the size. The rooms are large. Double bed, long desk and 3 adjacent drawers; plenty of space to store cases; fridge, wardrobe; safe; shoe store; easy chair with table. The en suite is a good size with shower over bath which functions well. A welcome pack of bottle of cider and nibbles. We had a few things not quite right: the safe didn’t work - it needed a new battery. This was quickly rectified. The sink tap was a bit loose; and so was the toilet roll holder. Not big things. The deal came with breakfast. This had full English including black pudding! It was plentiful and reasonable quality. A cafetière of coffee was placed on the table, so we had a mug and a half each. The staff were very efficient and friendly. Good selection of pastries and juices and a good functioning toaster. This is also a pub and restaurant. The front car park can be busy. The rear car park is for the hotel part and usually has spare spaces, but the spaces are relatively narrow. The pub serves good beers and wines and the restaurant has good food. Access to the hotel is very good as it’s close to an interchange of the A3. There is a little background noise from the A3, but this is low due to the A3 being in a deep cutting. The hotel has good walking and cycling trails being close to the South Downs Way and also to the Queen Elizabeth Country Park. Clanfield is the nearest village with a good pub (The Rising Sun, which also serves good food) and local shops including a Budgens and a Co-op.

Ich habe vor der Ankunft einige negative Bewertungen gelesen und war ein wenig besorgt darüber, wie mein Aufenthalt gehen würde. Ich muss sagen, all diese Bewertungen wurden falsch bewiesen. Wir hatten einen wirklich guten Aufenthalt. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, und das Rezeptionspersonal arbeitete insbesondere ständig an der Rezeption, in der Bar und hilfte nach den Mahlzeiten und Frühstücken gereinigt und gereinigt. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und komfortabel. Das einzige Problem ist die separate Parkgebühr. Das Hotel muss für eine Maschine bezahlen, ist ungewöhnlich und unnötig.

Confusing Parking Rules Very Modern look. The room was a reasonable size nicely decorated apart from the hideous carpet. The bed was nice and big but a little hard for me I prefer a soft squishy bed but I Slept ok. bathroom was spacious but No toilet brush which isn't nice. and the see through wall with a privacy button that turns the glass white is a bit weird especially as the door stays clear so not really very private. But fun if you like watching your partner take a shower or sitting on the loo while you are still in bed. What ever floats your boat LOL. Tea and coffee supplied but no complimentary biscuits. Cloths rail is useless in Room 338 it slopes down and your cloths and all the hangers fall off. Breakfast was OK Average but not as hot as it should be. Evening meals are very over priced For what they are. £17.95 for very basic Fish N Chips and Same Price for Burger and Chips. Drinks are over priced Too.
