Saubere und gepflegte Anlage mit freundlichem Empfang. An der Rezeption wurde jede Herausforderung gemeistert. Das Personal ist engagiert, freundlich und zuverlässig. Hat gute Tipps und tolle Ideen. Im Restaurant werden alle Wünsche erfüllt. Es gibt einen extra Bereich mit glutenfreien Angeboten. Große Auswahl in jeder Hinsicht: verschiedene Fische, verschiedene Fleischsorten, Beilagen und Vor- und Nachspeisen. Die Zimmer sind großzügig gestaltet und lassen keine Wünsche offen: Safe, Mini-Kühlschrank, Klimaanlage vom Bett aus zu steuern… Badausstattung: Kosmetikspiegel, Fön, Hygieneartikel sowie Seife, Duschgel/Shampoo und Lotion. In der Außenanlage saubere Poollandschaft mit Whirlpool und Bademeister. Gut ausgestatteter Fitnessbereich. Zur Freizeitgestaltung stehen Boule-Bahnen, Beachvolleyball-Feld, Billardtisch, Tennisplätze und Darts zur Verfügung. Wellness wird im angegliederten Spa geboten. Negative Erfahrungen: im Bad ist der Kosmetikspiegel leider nicht gut einstellbar. Die Kosmetiktücherbox war staubig und der Abzug im Bad war defekt.

What a find! This modern, spacious and well equipped two-storey villa has 5 bedrooms and is a world of luxury. A 20-25 minute walk from the airport along a safe dual use cycle path / footpath, you don't need a taxi or a bus. We booked Magma Rooms for the first 2 nights of a 7 day visit, as was arriving late 10pm+ from the UK. A second night at Magma was good to explore nearby restaurants and visit the beach in the day. What can I say about the room? It had everything you needed from free-to-use safe, flat screen TV, power shower, hairdryer, fan, extra pillows and blankets. In the shared facilities there is a Nespresso machine and mini bar fridge (pay via honesty box) as well as wine glasses, bottle opener etc. They have thought of everything! After check-out we then walked back to the airport to catch the # 161 bus to Puerto del Carmen (1.40€ each).

I can highly recommend this clean and comfortable hotel within a short walk of the centre of Yaiza. It is worth paying the supplement for an upgraded room as it is very enjoyable to sit on your own balcony in the evening to relax and read a book or to have a drink. The hotel restaurant is, in my opinion, the best in Yaiza with excellent food and very attentive staff. The very appetising hotel buffet style breakfast is served in the courtyard and it provides a wide range of breads, pastries, cereals, fresh fruit, cheese, teas and coffees. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

We spent two weeks at Casa de Hilario in Feb/March. The house is a traditional rural house outside the village of Yaiza in the centre of Lanzarote. Our bedroom was large and comfortable with views to the village and one of the many small volcanic peaks. Breakfasts were buffet style and self service, with tables indoors and outdoors on the large garden terrace. The food was fresh and the service from Lucia was excellent. The house was unstaffed in the afternoons and evenings and there was no bar or coffee facilities, which we missed. The guests all learned to stock up on snacks and drinks in the local supermarket. There is a good, traditional restaurant (Bodega de Santiago) next door for those who don't want to travel too far to eat, though our favourite restaurant was the nearby, sister property Casona de Yaiza which was excellent (we ate there four times). A good base for travelling around the island and will suit those who seek peace and tranquility in a lovely village. Not so good for those seeking a lively nightlife.

Dies war meine erste Reise mit der Familie und die Lage des Hotels ist absolut brillant, direkt am Strand und nur 5 Minuten Fahrt vom Flughafen. Das Hotel war ganz sauber und das Personal war sehr hilfreich. Wir genossen den Aufenthalt, Schwimmeinrichtungen usw. Wir reisen im Weihnachtstag und wir waren überrascht, am Weihnachtstag mit Geschenken in dem Zimmer. Ich würde dieses Hotel sehr empfehlen und ich würde bei meiner nächsten Reise nach Lanzarote wieder in diesem Hotel bleiben.

GGuest User We have been going to this hotel for years, we loved it. All the comments in other reviews I would agree are correct. It’s spotlessly clean, very functional layout. Before the renovation which I didn’t particularly like, there used to be tea and coffee in the rooms. But for me the biggest disappointment was the fact that they removed every single bathtub in the rooms ( except the two suites upstairs) As a person who suffers from back pain due to an injury. My bath each night ensured I got reasonable relief from constant pain. I expressed this to the staff by email but the young lady dealing with me told me I’d need to pay €130 extra to use the bath on the nights the suite was free. For me this was a non runner. We will be slow to return. All of the housekeeping staff were a pleasure. Not so the reception. There was a very nice white haired gentleman who has been with the hotel for years. He was very kind but the others made one feel like they were a nuisance at times. Breakfast is a disappointment, but even in the old days I found the food highly processed and unhealthy. That’s a personal taste, the staff were lovely and efficient the lady who replaced Vincent is just as effective and pleasant. I regret to say the complete lack of bathtub in any room is the reason we will cross the road to the Gran. Though last year when they were closed for the renovations we spent our time in the Gran looking at the balconies and wishing we could have stayed there. That was before the renovation. I’m sure if you don’t mind showers only and have never known how it used to be, you’ll be very happy in the Lancelot hotel. It is good value for money, there’s more right than wrong about the place and this is true of every section of the hotel. Big mistake not to keep one or two bathtubs in normal rooms for people like me who would book ahead and give lots of notice of needing same. Goodbye old friend, it was fun while it lasted.

GGuest UserDas kompakte Hotel liegt sehr gut in der Nähe des Zentrums von Arrecife, an der Küste fast direkt gegenüber dem Castillo de San Gabriel. Das Hotel bietet keine Parkplätze, obwohl es einen großen 24-Stunden-Untergrundpark in der Nähe des Arrecife Gran Hotels etwa einen 10-minute Spaziergang (ca. 30€ pro Tag und eineinhalb). Einchecken war schnell und freundlich, trotz einer späten Ankunft. Mein Zimmer war am Rücken des Hotels und sah die Rückstrafen von Arrecife aus. Das Zimmer war komfortabel, obwohl die Dekor vielleicht ein wenig alt war. Gutes WIFI, aber das Zimmer hatte nur eine kostenlose Stromsockel (wie der Kühlschrank vor meiner Ankunft entschließt war). Das Bett war ziemlich komfortabel, etwas Lärm von der Straße in der Nacht, aber nichts zu laut. Mein Zimmer hatte keinen Klimaanlage, was nicht ein Thema im Oktober, aber vielleicht ein Thema im Sommer? Das Frühstück war auf der Terrasse am oberen Rand des Hotels, das wirklich gute Aussichten gibt; und eine gute Auswahl an Lebensmitteln wählen. Insgesamt ist ein gut gelegenes Hotel zur Erforschung von Arrecife und der Umgebung, aber angesichts der begrenzten Einrichtungen des Hotels und des Fehlens von Parkplätze vielleicht besser für kurze Aufenthalte!

This was our 10th visit here! We have always come here as it has been our paradise! This visit I have only rated 4 star for the reasons being we were a couple who have always requested a ground floor pool view junior suite. On arrival which was 21.45 we were told they only had a family room available! Which we took has we’d been travelling all day and just wanted to chill out! The room was ok but there was no pool view instead our balcony was facing the building site. Again we were told they were full!so we just bared with it and never used the balcony which was disappointing! From day 1 we went to reception and asked different staff about a late checkout! Was told come back the day before so the day before I went back and was told come back the day of checkout! I stated I had been asking all week just to secure this as our flight was 22.30. Was told again to come back on checkout day! So the next day at 8 in the morning went back and was told NO as they were full!! What is the point of trying to give enough notice ? The hotel to me was overbooked all the time! We have been coming 8 years and never seen it as full! Sun beds reserved from crack of dawn every day! Also on the day of check out we were given a bill to settle from the pool bar which wasn’t ours! The same happened to another couple who checked out the same time as us too so the management need to find out who is having free drinks and giving other peoples room numbers! A better more secure system needs to be in place as this is fraud and theft!! Whether we will decide to come back an 11th time we don’t know!

NNavigator28003439371Second stay at La Penita, had two great holidays over the last 14 months. Apartments are pretty good, slightly basic but very roomy. Little things such as washing up liquid, bottle opener, bug spray etc really do make a difference. There's a flat screen on the wall that was didn't really use. Did notice ITV though if you need a bit of background noise whilst getting ready. There's been a lot of discussion on here regarding the sunbeds, I feel this is a hard one for the hotel. We did see some towel-moving but the staff were met with moans or shouts of ”we're not moving”. Older couples were getting on the beds from 8am. Personally, I think it's time us Brits/Irish held our hands up and admitted to our total selfishness. If we didn't hog the beds early on there would be no problem. Our family (wife and 2 daughters of 22 & 16) usually got up and made our way to the pool around 9.30. Quick breakie in the bar, and we always found a bed around 10. There are easily enough to go round, just (heaven forbid) you might have to sit out of the sun for 20 minutes while it passes a palm tree. One day we were lay next to two with towels on, who came back at 4PM. Hang your heads in shame - probably the same people that then run to TA complaining about the sunbed situation. The pool is freezing by the way, also those lovely parakeets round the pool - if you buy some nuts they will eat from your hand - fabulous. There are two reasons though why we'd give LP an excellent rating 1 - The location. Down some steps at the side of Peeking Garden and you're on the front. There's a also a slight incline if you turn right out of reception to the front. The back gates take you down a small hill passed The Mucky Duck, into the action! 2 - The pool bar. Becky, Lauren, and Lindsay are some of the friendliest staff you'll ever meet. Always smiling and nothing too much trouble. Thanks girls! The bar is also incredibly cheap. £3.50E breakfast, lovely sandwiches, hot food. The crowning glory though is the Estrella beer, served in a frosted glass if you're indoors or at the pool bar. Between 12-1 & 3-4 its only 1.50E on Happy Hour. Basically that's around £1.30 a pint for a premium lager. Happy hour is also 2E for a glass of wine if that's your tipple. Overall a brilliant stay, we'll be back early January 2026...

GGastnutzerI was made feel very welcome when I arrived at Pension Magec. The hospitality I received from the management and other guests was amazing. Its a very friendly place. The property is very clean and my room was cleaned everyday. The management are extremely helpful. The management will go out of their way ensure that guests needs are met all times. Carla is lovely as are everyone else works there including Sandi the manager The view from the top veranda is stunning. The guests can sit and have a drink and chat together on the veranda. As a solo traveller you would never be lonely and its very safe. Everyone talks to each other when up on the veranda. You are made feel welcome by both management and other guests at all times. There is always someone to talk to. I felt we were like a big happy family. There is free tea and coffee at the property. I would highly recommend Pension Magec as its very central. MMichaelJohnDieses Hotel ist perfekt, wenn Sie einen einfachen Weg zum Flughafen am nächsten Tag wollen. Es gibt einen Bushalte 5 Minuten zu Fuß, die Busse verbinden die ganze Insel. Das Personal ist effizient und freundlich. Sie halfen mir, meinen Bordpass ohne Gebühr zu drucken. Ich habe nicht versucht, das Abendessen Buffet(halb ein Dutzend Gerichte) aber gut für etwa 18 Euro. Es gibt eine große Karte von Rezife auf der Wand, die Sie Fotos und verwenden können, um die Stadt zu erreichen. wir hatten ein Meerblickraum, empfohlen die Ansicht ist schön.

Der Pool war großartig und der Lebensschutz auch. Es ist ein Stein weg von Märkten , Tourismusveranstaltungen usw.
Die einzige Grippe, die ich hatte, war mit 1 mm Tüten ? Das in der Küche auftauchte und Badewanne wurde gebraucht.
Aber es war nicht schmutzig. Die Reinigungsfrau hat auch jeden Tag gereinigt.
Sicherlich ein schöner Aufenthalt für das Geld und erstaunliche Personal.
