We had a great stay here. We stayed for a week and really enjoyed our stay. This is an older hotel but is very well maintained. The room was clean and fresh and everything worked. The paint was fresh and neat throughout. The pool clean and the public areas well maintained. Makayla at the front desk was always helpful, pleasant and took care of any requests we had. Sarah who runs the bar/coffeeshop/restaurant was fantastic and great to hangout with over a morning coffee. The staff was friendly and definitely feels like a family. The location of the hotel is great about a 10 minute walk to Acura beach with lots of shops around you. The restaurants in the area are great for dinner. The hotel really gives you a sense of being hosted in the country. wonderful.

Went on business last week with a diverse group from all over the Caribbean. It was an excellent trip. Extremely courteous staff throughout all areas of operations. Many small gestures done. Buffet breakfast were large, varied and tasty; included an omelette station, fresh baked bread / pastries, etc. Rooms and bathrooms were always cleaned every day and properly re-stocked (small handwritten notes to guests). They brought in fresh coconuts one day during one of our business sessions!! Beach is across the street, 5 min walk. My only peeve was the stay was not recorded on my Marriott BonVoy account despite pointing it out on arrival (I’ll have to follow up). Will look forward to next visit there. Great value for money.

Excellent mid size family run hotel. It's the 1st time we have stayed here for a Staycation and we were not disappointed. Everything is very clean and the staff were excellent. The room in the main building is large, massive bed with a settee, kitchenette with a toaster, kettle fridge, and microwave. The shower is large, and the towels are nice and fluffy. The view from the balcony was great looking out over the pool area and beach. There is a lot of sand on the beach with trees for shade if required. We went All Inclusive because we were staying for 3 days and just wanted to relax. Food and drinks were great. No idea what the annex is like, we wouldn't stay there as it is over the main road. Walking g distance is Jakes bar and restaurant directly opposite the hotel entrance. Turn right out of the entrance and 100 mtrs up across the road is Buzo an excellent Italian restaurant that also has a good range of cocktails and wines. All in all an excellent break from work, and we will definitely be back.

Ich war nur von einem Kreuzfahrt aus Barbados um die Südkaribische Region zurück, aber er blieb ein paar Tage im Adula. Ich dachte, es war ein wunderschönes kleines Hotel sehr sauber und das Personal wirklich hilfreich. Nicht zu erwähnen Shakers Restaurant wie 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Das Essen bei Shakers war wirklich schön und der Long Island Ice Teas noch besser. Mein Freund und ich teilten eine schöne Selbstcatering Bungalow, die eine schöne Küche und Dusche hatte. Der Pool war klein, aber sehr sauber und gut gepflegt Ich kann dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen genug und ich bin ein sehr fussy kostüm, ich habe hohe Standards und erwarten einen guten Service, wenn ich dafür bezahle, gut gemacht Adula Sie machten meinen Aufenthalt sehr nett. Auf einem Schlussnote gibt es auch einige große Loungebars auch 10 Minuten zu Fuß auf dem Streifen am Ende der Straße definitiv auch einen Besuch wert.

Amazing! This place is not your typical all inclusive. It’s not average Buffett food with cheap alcohol and obnoxious drinks with loud music everywhere. It’s a smaller boutique style resort. Intimate, so clean and beautiful, amazing service from the friendliest workers, and the food is absolutely delicious! The Buffett has the freshest, hottest and home made meals. It’s small, but I’m picky and don’t eat fish and I never ever went hungry. Only place that has AC beauty your room is inside the Buffett. But you eat your meals with no AC. It gets hot even at night for dinner. Went to Sizzle for steak and wow! Amazing filet minion.! Went twice two nights in a row. Will definitely be coming back again soon.

Wir waren vom 26.3-11-4. im Accra Beach! Großes Lob an unsere Reiseleiterin Dina, welche uns ein Upgrade auf das schäbige und laute Zimmer Poolside (keine Relation zum hohen Preis!!!) in eine Duplex Suite organisiert ha! Das war auch dann das positive bis auf den wunderschönen Strand! Wir haben Al inclusive gebucht! Mit den Öffnungszeiten nimmt es hier niemand all zu genau mit den Schließungszeiten sehr genau! Frühstück wäre regulär ab 6:30 ist aber dann auf 7 Uhr verschoben worden! Man bestellt Tee und bekommt keinen Teebeutel! Jeden Tag das gleiche Angebot und nur auf den amerikanischen Gast ausgerichtet! 1 Sorte Salami und Schinken und einen billigen Käse! Das einzige Highlight waren die frechen Vögelchen!❤️! Es ist nur 1 Restaurant (Accra Deck) geöffnet ab 18:30 Uhr! Wäre empfehlenswert wenn auch pünktlich da ist, ansonsten darf man im unterkühlten Speisesaal essen! Am Samstag hat nur das Pazifika geöffnet, wo man knapp vor 21 Uhr aufgefordert wird, das Buffet für die Hauptspeise aufzusuchen weil dann abserviert würde! War damals noch nicht mal mit der Vorspeise fertig!!! Öffnungszeiten von 18:30-21:30! Das Fig Tree hatte dauerhaft geschlossen! Zu den Bars: Sand Bar ab 8 Uhr geöffnet, da konnte ich nur lachen (war in 16 Tagen noch nie so), aber Papier ist geduldig! Wann dann endlich geöffnet war, ist weit und breit kein Barman ersichtlich! Dies alles ist auf auch alle anderen Bars anzutreffen! Aber mit den Schließungszeiten nimmt man es mehr als genau! Da ist 1 oder 2 Stunden kein Problem , man sperrt einfach zu! Das Personal bis auf bis wenige unfreundlich! Beim Mittagessen bekommt man nach 20 Minuten und nach Nachfrage eine Speisekarte und nach weiterer Nachfrage ein Besteck und eine Serviette??? Hallo geht’s noch? Obwohl Als Europäischer Gast wird man hier sehr unfreundlich bedient, auch von anderen deutschsprachigen Gästen bestätigt!!! Der Zimmerservice war auch nicht ok! Um 17 Uhr wurde mal lautstark an die Tür gepocht! „Zimmerservice“! Um diese Zeit??? Ab und an fehlten die Handtücher bzw. waren das Gästehandtücher, des öfteren die Fußmatten! Die Sauberkeit allgemein war mehr wie mangelhaft! Aber Hauptsache man trägt eine Maske! Na ja! Auch bei der Rezeption keine Nachfrage, ob uns der Urlaub gefallen hat, bei der Ankunft allerdings auch keine Nachfrage wie die Anreise war! Hauptsache man bezahlt einen Haufen Geld für eintöniges Frühstück und co und das man sich als Gast fühlt wie ein Störenfried! Herzlichen Dank dafür! So unfreundlich sind wir noch nie behandelt worden, aber wir kommen auch nicht wieder!

Our favourite Caribbean island and we will be back. I think when we come next time we would definitely upgrade to a bigger apartment style room, as we looked into those and they were more spacious, bigger kitchen, living area etc. However the price we paid and the beautiful beach and sea view we had it was amazing. The bathrooms especially could do with a big refurb, re grout, remove the shower curtain and upgrade to a rainfall shower etc. If it were to be refurbished it would be 10/10 especially due to the south coast location. The hotel is on the dated side which we were fully aware of and alot of the hotels are dated when it comes to barbados, unless you are in more of a resort. The room was clean and cleaned daily which was the most important thing. As for the food and drink, we did not really eat in the hotel as we were always out exploring the beautiful island! My partner had the fish cutter from the hotel which he enjoyed! We had drinks and the rum punch which were great, we particularly recommend the smoothies. Although i didn't hear bad things about the food, we did also find it on the pricier side, considering everything is on your doorstep for cheaper. The hotel itself was very quiet but this was due to us being there off season and before the main crop over events, this made it even more peaceful for us. However im not sure how easy it would be to get a sun lounger by the pool or beach if it was full. The pool areas were lovely with sea views easily seen from both. There was no entertainment in the hotel for when we were there, but we were not expecting it as its not a resort. We wish they cleaned up some of the seaweed off the beach when we had a few days of increased seaweed. The staff are amazing at the hotel shout out to TISHA, CHANELLE, AMANDA,CHANTELLE, REGGIE ＜3. We will miss you all, thanks for providing information that we needed especially bus routes and restaurant advice! As for location this is PERFECT for the south coast, there is so much to do on the island and you do NOT need to be all inclusive in barbados. For the supermarkets there is a massey, petrol station 24hr shop, trident all within 5 minute walk away, to get food and drink for your rooms. You are 15 minute walk from the gap which obviously has all your restaurants, also 15 minute walk away from the boardwalk which has a few more restaurants. Also plenty of bus stops around for the reggae vans to go up to bridgetown or oistins for only 3.50bd. Taxis are pricier so for west coast ideally hire a car, on average was around 70bd for west coast. But hire a car to make it easier to explore the whole island if you can! Try worthing food court 5 minutes away from the hotel, amazing authentic street food! I have listed below some places to see and eat The hotel is in need of some refurbishment, the pillows we did find lumpy, the wifi was temperamental cutting in and out and the bathroom is particularly in need of updating.
