The room had poor noise isolation. It was very cold in the room, especially in the bathroom. There is a huge gap between the front door and the food. I was disappointed)

The room is a little small for four people. The staffs are friendly and the location is great. It's close to the majority of the attractions. Will stay here again if come back to Chicago

The older, grumpy baggage handler needs training on how to take his job more seriously. I waited over five minutes clearly needing help with my luggage, but he ignored me the entire time. He just stood there staring at me until I finally asked if he was the one in charge of helping with luggage. When I returned to ask for my bag, he let out a loud sigh as if he were doing me a favor. He never responded to my “thank you.” On the other hand, the younger baggage handler and the African-American one were both friendly and professional. The hotel itself was okay. The location is good, and the rest of the staff were helpful and nice. However, for what we paid the rooms should be improved — at the very least they should offer better quality toilet paper, a small fridge, and a microwave.

The lobby area looked great, but once you get past that it’s very dated. I can only describe it as a feeling of stepping into your grandmas house, with outdated carpets, old smells and the rooms in General could do with a revamp. Bathtub in the room is a good addition however you can’t use it as it doesn’t come with a stopper.

The location is fantastic. The hotel is pretty naff. Small room, small bed tiny shower. Views of the back of other buildings. And the car park was $54 for 24 hours. Not impressed. But did get a great price

This place was a Dive, I walk in and walked back out. I lost $112.00, Never again. It would be great if I could get my $ back!

Good location, but rooms have an better days, decent reception

Nice place, easy to locate, and very close to various parking spaces. While the place is not very new, my main concern was how loud it was during the night. Train going by, neighborhood arguing, car driving, etc. It was difficult to catch a sleep.

Front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Excellent location, near to Millennium Park and the railways. Room was outdated as expected from the reviews, but it was clean and comfortable enough to sleep.

It's a vintage hotel with not much of a window sound insulation (and railroad is nearby). Acceptably clean, close to main attractions. Good security.

I honestly thought the rooms were going to be nicer from when I walked into the lobby but it was still a decent place to stay and it was in city where I can walk everywhere!!

We got lucky and got an okay room with no significant health violations. The facilities are very dated but we expected that by reading the reviews. One alarming factor was that the locks did not work at all. The check-in was okay, but the receptionist was not very communicative.

The Staff was nice and the young lady that checked me in was very nice and I would stay again
