Everything is good. The only lacking is that the hotel doesn’t informed in the description that for muslim friendly breakfast, you need to request 3 days prior before checking in. 

Really rather dated and tired. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dining options are ok but not spectacular. Musky smells in the room due to its age. Staff doing their best with what they have. it doesn’t help that the building behind is a derelict site. Pretty good location.

Hotel service is good. Within walking distance to night market and train station. There is a water cooler at my 10th level.

Strange smell, some room has a fake window which seems strange too, and my room had a light out of order, hindering my sleep until midnight. I asked counter to switch room for me and finally everything is ok. Everyone booked a room can have free ice drink. But the venue for drinking is poor. We can only drink at the concourse. The breakfast and staff are satisfying.

Hotel staff was friendly but the building is a bit old. We hadn’t seen when booking that we booked a room without windows which turned out to be to the inside (actually had a window) but it was overall dark and stuffy. Fine for a night but wouldn’t want to stay longer. Great location though.

This hotel was great. It has a laundry room. It is located near chiayi station (not the HSR) and is near many attractions.

It is too dark of the room lighting overall  The TV remote control is not user friendly and easy out of control  No complimentary water in room No concierge helps for taking luggage for the elderly

Clean and decent room, well maintained with all amenities needed. A little bit walk from MRT station, bus stations are just few mins. walk from the hotel, taking bus is a good choice though. Breakfast is buffet style served 0900-1000, providing both western and Chinese cuisines, not very fancy one but good enough to fill your stomach. Ningxia night market is within 10-15mins. walking distance, Carrefour supermarket is right opposite the hotel.

The room looks old and smelly The air conditioning is too loud to sleep. The mattress is old and the springs are broken, It made noise when you turned over… The toilet smelled badly also… Anyway I don’t like this hotel and felt sorry for my family coz I booked it.

Friendly front desk staff. Clean room. The balcony is a surprised. Reasonable rate. Very close to the night market. Pleased.

I recently stayed at the Maison De Chine Hotel in Chiayi for two nights and was pleasantly surprised by the value offered. I booked one of the cheaper rooms without a window, and let me tell you, it exceeded my expectations. The room was incredibly spacious, featuring a cozy sofa corner, a separate tea-making station, and a cleverly designed layout with a separate toilet, bathroom basin, shower, and bathroom area. This setup provided a level of convenience and comfort that’s hard to find at this price point. Although I mostly used the room for sleeping, it was a great space to retreat to after a day of exploring. The reception team, especially Ken, was fantastic. They were always ready to help, whether it was organizing taxis at a moment’s notice or offering detailed information on how to catch a bus to Alishan. One of the standout amenities was the free laundry room—an absolute lifesaver for someone like me who’s been traveling solo around Taiwan. It’s also worth mentioning the hotel’s excellent location. It’s just a 5-minute walk to the night market, where you can immerse yourself in the local culture and enjoy some delicious street food. There’s a cheap and tasty breakfast cafe right across the road and a Family Mart around the corner, where you can conveniently book your HSR tickets. Overall, my stay at Maison De Chine Hotel was wonderful, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Chiayi.

Everything was expected. and satisfied Japanese village is nice to visit

Location: located near the chiayi railway station. Hotel is able to provide shuttle service if u inform them a day earlier. hSR station is further away about half hour drive and is chargable by the hotel. We travel in a taxi during our stay. We were fortunate to get a taxi driver who drives us around and brought us to train station to purchase ticket when I could not purchase it online due to the long public holiday. Food: we did not eat the hotel breakfast. We ate at the cafe and little gal ate Macdonald which is about 10-15mins away. The night market is nearby. Amenities: they provided the needful amenities. I love that they provide dispensers at every level and encourage use of own refills. This really help to reduce plastics usage. There is a laundry room located at level 13. There are 2 washing machines and 2 dryers. Self service and complimentary. Service : Staff are helpful and polite
