YOU DO NOT GET A SECOND CHANCE TO MAKE A FIRST IMPRESSION. It was the worst experience ever which made our seven-day vacation stressful. First, they charged my card $200.00 at check-in (without notification or disclosure). They said it was a security deposit. Then they charged my card every morning, $90.00. When I checked out, I had to pay my hotel bill plus they had $460.00 in pending charges held on my account (which can take up to 30 days to clear). This put an inconvenience on our trip and my finances. That was money we had set aside for food and gas. Second, after the first night, there was no television service at the hotel. For five days, we had no entertainment. Once they did solve the problem, it was the day before our check-out and you could only get one or two channels out of thirty. Asked for a discount due to the lack of use of the amenity and was told they could not do it at the hotel. All they could do was put in a request to the manager to give me reward points. I do not want reward points - I will not be returning to any of their hotels. I had to call customer service and was still told that they would notate my concerns and could not say if I would get compensation or not. Someone would get back to me. Third, they do not want to clean your room. They lie about everything. They do not check to see if you need towels and bathroom toiletries. And, when you ask, you get one towel and one bathroom tissue. You have to keep asking for more. Six nights and I got my room cleaned twice and that was a hassle. I put a request in the day before for service through the app and the desk clerk would not make sure my room was serviced until I threatened her that I HAD IT IN WRITING - I WAS ASSURED MY ROOM WOULD BE CLEANED THE NEXT MORNING, and then she lied on housekeeping and said she just got off the phone with them and they told her that I had a do not disturb sign on my door - when they were actually in my room cleaning. Thirdly, they have two elevators, and one of them was not working. And, they do not have a service elevator obviously because housekeeping used the one working elevator and kept it tied up - you had to wait 10-15 minutes just to get the elevator. It was awful. Customer service awful.
