I was looking for a hotel near the airport and near the grocery and restaurants during a recent trip to Cebu. My usual stay had a big price increase and since it was far from the airport, I tried looking for a new hotel. I used to stay at other hotels near Felicity and thought that the prices were a bit steep for hotels without pools. I chanced on them while browsing Google Maps and gave them a call. It's good that they had a vacancy and so I made my way from the client site to the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised with the bright lobby. The single room, though, had a weird layout with the sink just behind the door but not inside the bathroom. Still it was value for money because it had hot and cold water, a cool air conditioner, a refrigerator, a flat screen TV and clean sheets. Since it was just beside the highway, I expected to hear scooters darting across. Well, most of the noise came from fellow guests walking through the corridors after making bar crawls, I guess. Aside from that, the hotel is great value for money. I'm looking forward to staying with them in future trips.

Wir hatten einen späten und verspäteten Flug, aber dankbar war der Wagen (Free Airport Shuttle) für uns. Die Lobby war einfach & Eincheckung war einfach. Vor dem Zutritt zu unserem Zimmer, baten sie uns, die Ausstattung zu bekommen, die wir brauchen (Zahnkits, Rasenkits & Käfig). Wir haben im Twin C Zimmer verblieben, es hat einen großen Ref, Küchenschrank, TV, Mikrowelle, Esstisch & Stühle & 2 große Betten. Das Badezimmer war wie die in Japan, kompakt & klein. Es gab auch keine Kabinen. Die Betten waren bequem zu schlafen auf & die Ac funktionierte gut. Frühstück wurde in dem serviert, was wie ein Café, es sollte plattiert werden, es wurde serviert Buffet-Stil, Frühstücksmenü war einfach. Es ändert sich jeden Tag. Die Lage des Hotels ist superb und bequem, weil es mit dem J Centre Mall verbunden ist und es dort Apotheken, Banken, Komfortgeschäfte und einen Spa in der Nähe. Freut mich, dass unsere Massage dort. Das Hotel war auch neben dem Skywater-Themepark, aber leider war es unbegrenzt geschlossen. Checkout war auch einfach. Sie erlaubten uns, unsere Gepäckstücke zu verlassen, weil wir einen späten Flug haben, wir kamen gerade zurück. Wir konnten nicht von dem kostenlosen Shuttle zurück zum Flughafen profitieren, weil wir nicht einen Tag vor war (es ist nicht automatisch, auch wenn sie Ihre Fluginformationen haben), gut, dass wir Familienangehörige, um uns zum Flughafen bringen. Insgesamt war der Preis vernünftig und wir hatten hier einen schönen und komfortablen Aufenthalt.

I stayed with my friend here for 4days and 3 nights so far so good most especially the service everytime we call for room service or order for foods they’re very accommodating. For their foods its was so good most specially their pork sinigang it’s so delicious and so worth the price, the servings is large and when I say large it is good for 4-6 people and sorry we really didn’t think of taking a pictures of the room since our mind at that time is occupied with something important

Plantation Bay is again my favorite hotel on Mactan. I was there August of 22, January of this year and just finished a stay in May. Here are some things to consider about Plantation Bay: - It’s the only large Filipino owned resort on Mactan and they must treat there staff incredibly well because everyone I spoke with has worked there 10+years - unlike other resorts they have a no tipping policy - The large salt water lagoons are beautiful and large enough that they never feel crowded - Plantation Bay offers a variety of food options for every taste - They have a wide variety of on site activities and offer multiple excursions outside the resort for reasonable prices To be fair there were a couple of things that could improve but those are minor - The beach towels need to be replaced. The bathroom towels are great but the beach towels were old and thin - During busy periods when you call bell service or guest relations the phone just rings with no answer. Overall though, this is the best place to stay on Mactan. Great service, unique activities, great staff, and some of the best swimming pools anywhere Here are some tips: - if you are not traveling with kids, the waters edge rooms are amazing. You can step from your deck directly into the lagoon - Consider the Route 66 Diner for breakfast. Good food and never crowded -A romantic dinner at Palermo’s is a great option on site - I paid the extra $50 to have a car drop us off and pick us up at our room and it was definitely worth it. You get checked in/out at your room saving time Highly recommend this great hotel

Die Lage ist sehr strategische und leicht zu finden. Von dem Hotel können Sie die Stadt bequem umgeben. Sie können viele Restaurants und schnelle Lebensmittelkette außerhalb so weniger beunruhigend finden. Der Nebenteil unserer Erfahrung war, dass das Zimmer nicht geräumig genug war, weil wir 2 Gepäck hatten und wir es die ganze Zeit öffneten. Wir blieben für 2 Nächte. Obwohl wir nicht viel mit uns hatten, sollte das gut sein. Ein anderes war die Dusche, das Wasser war nicht so bequem. Es dauerte ein bisschen, bis wir die Dusche fertig kriegen. Gastliches Personal! Im Bild hatten wir wirklich viel zu tun. Wir haben einige Waren sortiert, um unseren Verwandten, die in Cebu waren, zu geben und wir hatten gerade zu diesem Zeitpunkt angekommen. 🤣

Schönes kleines Hotel. Zu kleiner CR. Das gute: Nettes Personal. Problemloser Check-in. Es ist keine Schadenskaution erforderlich. Saubere Gemeinschaftsräume und saubere Zimmer. Gutes Bett und Bettwäsche. Frische Handtücher. Toller Warmwasserfluss zum Duschen. Safe im Zimmer. Kabelfernsehen mit guter Auswahl an Kanälen. Ruhige Klimaanlage. Berücksichtigung der Umwelt durch Verfahren zur Wiederverwendung von „Handtüchern“ und reduzierte Verpackungen (Wasserkrug zum Befüllen aus dem Spender im Flur, Spender für Handseife, Duschgel und Shampoo). Gut zubereitetes philippinisches Frühstück, serviert in einem kleinen Restaurant mit Gewürzen. Praktische Lage für einen Besuch im Krankenhaus Chong Hua. Taxistand in der Nähe. Gehen Sie zu Robinsons Fuente & McDo. Das Schlechte: Tassen, aber kein Wasserkocher. Winziges CR, wo der Zutritt für zwei Personen selbst mit Choreografie nicht möglich ist. Der Zimmersafe ist sehr klein. Kein Kühlschrank. Keine CR-Bodenmatte. Das hässliche: Straßenkinder, die draußen schlafen, ganz in der Nähe des Hotels. Das Trinkgeld: Fragen Sie nach einem Zimmer, in dem das WLAN gut ist. Der Abschluss: Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Gut genug, um dorthin zurückzukehren. -- Ende --

This visit to Marco Polo truly saddened me. If you read some of my past reviews of this hotel I noted it was my favorite place to stay anywhere in the world. This was my first post Covid visit and I was shocked and disappointed. - Basic maintenance has not been completed. For example, there is a glass elevator that goes to Blu their rooftop restaurant. This elevator was out of order and when I asked why I was told “Covid.” Covid travel restrictions were lifted a long time ago and that’s no excuse. In a second example, we returned to our room after a long night and the key did not work. It turned out the battery in the electronic device on the door needed to be replaced and the front desk understand the issue immediately, so this must happen often. Good hotels replace these batteries on a schedule so the guests never suffer from dead batteries. - Service, which used to be outstanding?@, is now unacceptable. First, the English language skills of most employees we encountered were sub par. Second, the person who checked me in was being trained, so the check in process was very slow. Third, service at the poolside bar during lunch was slow, the waitstaff inattentive and they failed to include my banana shake on the bill so as we are leaving the grab us and give us a second bill to pay. Fourth, service at breakfast was terrible. I had to ask for black tea three times before I got it, seeking some out 3 times as no one ever came to check on us. When we arrived around 9 AM there was no bacon (later replenished with bacon that looked so bad I did not even try it, fatty and not crisp), there was 1 banana, which was never replenished, there were no juice glasses (later replenished). The food quality was adequate but not nearly up to pre-Covid standards. Overall the service was lacking. - I was also disappointed that the lobby lounge, which used to have live music every night now has piano music only and only 1 night per week I am told. - There was a cart of dirty linens in our hallway both days Some of these things are not expensive or hard to fix. It doesn’t cost a lot to have live music in the lounge nightly as there are lots of singers groups looking for opportunities. It doesn’t cost a lot to make sure you change door card batteries regularly Others are basic requirements if doing business. For example you don’t leave a glass elevator to one of the most expensive restaurants in Cebu out of order for month/years. I am purchasing a condo unit in Marco Polo residences and expected to regularly visit the hotel for meals/drinks, but if this is the quality and service we can expect, then I will not be utilizing their services.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen. Wir waren mit fast allem zufrieden. Das darf man mit dem hohen Preis natürlich auch erwarten. Was uns enttäuscht hat ist, dass Crimson (wie viele Hotels auf den Philippinen) das Personal nicht im Griff hat. Fast alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr zuvorkommend und machten das Beste was ihnen zur Verfügung stand. Dass Ihnen leider jegliche Ausbildung fehlt, ist nicht ihre Schuld. Wenn ein Kellner eine gute Flasche Wein ins Zimmer bringt, dann sollte er mindestens eine Ahnung haben, wie man diese Flasche entkorkt. Zudem gibt es unter den Mitarbeitern leider einige ” schwarze Schafe”, die bei Crimson am falschen Platz sind und unbedingt ersetzt werden sollten. Aber nochmals zurück zum Positiven. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und werden wieder kommen. Unsere Anregungen sollen nicht als Kritik verstanden werden. Sie sollen Helfen aus etwas Gutem etwas noch besseres zu machen.

We checked in last Sept.15-17 in Fili hotel we had a blast my family were satisfied all the services they offered. The hotel is a five star hotel, so its all worth it what you paid for. The last day we checked out accidentally we left my sons’s iphone in the room we noticed it when we were on the road heading home. I messaged the duty manager MR. STEVEN ROYO SANTIAGO assured to me that phone is just there in the room. Other staff were looking and asking others to help them to find until MR STEVEN SANTIAGO personally went to the room and searched and he found it. I am so happy, HONESTY and INTEGRITY is the right words for you sir STEVEN thank u so much.
