Hotels in Cebu Harbor-Nähe, Cebu

It was nice they have cinemas, restaurants and ****** open but most of the stores are still under construction. They also have pool spa and gym good enough to stay at there hotel somehow it's far from the city. But we enjoyed our stay there after having dinner we went to there bar inside the ****** with a singer it's good to relax and the staffs are so attentive.

CHECK IN - the welcome was warm. Greeted by the security at the lobby and instructed to go to 3rd floor (main lobby) for checkin. Approached the front desk and the woman I spoke with (she was the manager I guess) told me to wait because rooms are still not ready since they were fully booked from yesterday's event. A few minutes later they approched and.proceeded with checkin. They gave us a room, away from the main elevator (which I requested), but gave us the the accessible room just beside the service elevator. I guess they have overbooked because I heard someone said, ”to release the buffer rooms.” The front desk lady who assisted me was nice and courteous. The only thing that was off from that experience was the tone of voice of the lady manager. I guess the regional accent was a factor, but I can sense she was judging me for my looks because I was only wearing slippers that time, and she can't find my booking at first, because it was a last minute booking. Not really creating an issue out of that, but just saying, don't judge, and please, the tone of voice. THE ROOM - everything was great, just a basic room. PROS: A bed, the lights, there's a smart TV, water heater and 2 mugs, a pitcher and 2 water glasses, towels, toothbrush, a hairdryer, 2 rolls of tissue paper, body wash and shampoo refills, airconditioning, and a water refill station near the elevator, hot and cold water in the bathroom. CONS: they could have added slippers (even the reusable ones) because the floor is very cold. The room that was given to us had its bathroom tiles not set properly or balanced, so the water is everywhere in the bathroom instead of going to the drain. RESTAURANT - there's free breakfast at the resto called Seaedr Prime. There's not much from the breakfast menu, and the bangus was not available. It includes the main dish plus fried rice, coffee, and fruit. They had watermelons served during our 2 night stay. SERVICE - it was great. The housekeeper cleaned the room while we're away. OVERALL - I would definitely book this hotel again for a very good deal. Location is nice and I would even compare it to a Holiday Inn.

Very disappointed with our stay this time! We tried to contact the hotel directly via the given contact number to let them know we would be arriving very late many times and nobody picked up our call, the phone was ringing but unanswered. (See image) We arrived shortly after 10:20pm, once we checked in, we requested at the front desk 2x extra pillows and 2x extra large towels. These are charged extra and non-refundable. It was nice we were given the same room as on our last visit. The extra pillows and towels arrived quickly to us in the room. However the problems started there. Upon inspection of the bedding we discovered found a number of black stains on the bed sheet. Some were directly hidden under the blue decorative bed ribbon. The 2x extra pillows we requested and paid for had big orange coloured stains visible through the linen pillowcases. (See images) The 2 extra large towels we requested and paid for were old, grey and also had stains on them. (See images) It took 2 calls to front desk, and under 30mins for housekeeping to show up. Finally once everything was sorted its was over almost an hour from our first call to the front desk! We told the housekeeping team to inform the duty manager and front desk that we would like a response back. We showed the house keeping Team the images we x1had taken and informed them we would be checking out at early around 8am. Come 8am, we checked out and no response was given to us for the poor housekeeping standard during our second, one night stay. Such a same, as we will be returning to Cebu 02 to 05 Dec 2023 and have now chosen a different hotel.

Very well maintained room. Appreciated the complimentary snacks. Haven’t tried any amenities as we go to work and just rest after. The buffet and cocktails were so good, I thought I gained after our 5 days stay.

Es liegt im Zentrum einiger verschiedener Sehenswürdigkeiten, also war es für mich persönlich gut geeignet. Der Valentinstag ist für Alleinreisende ein Nachteil, der nur auf den Restaurants beruht. Das liegt daran, dass es voll ist und es Sonderangebote für zwei gibt. Ich war im Steakrestaurant, das im Grunde den gleichen Preis für weniger Essen verlangte, nur à la carte als Option und ohne Änderung, um die auf dem Menü angebotenen Gerichte zu bekommen. Trotzdem waren alle Mitarbeiter im Twilight, am Pool, an der Rezeption und an der Tür/dem Concierge sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Zimmer sind etwas älter, aber extrem sauber und ausgestattet. Die Aussicht und die Sitzbereiche sind wunderschön. Der Verkehr in Cebu ist ziemlich rau, aber ich habe NewTown wegen des Valentinstagsverkehrs gemieden. Ein Reiseführer für den Tag wird empfohlen, da es so viele Richtungen gibt, in die man gehen kann. Das Hotel selbst hatte das beste Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und die besten Annehmlichkeiten für die Gegend.

Check in/out: freundlich und schnell Zimmer: (gebucht: mit meerblick): sehr gut, groß, sauber, gute Betten Frühstück: sehr gut (reiches Buffet) Manko: selbst unter der Woche großes Gedränge am Buffet (sehr gute Auswahl, sogar Bacon erhältlich), Wartezeit beim Einlass war 15 min. TV: zu wenig internationale Kanäle (zB BBC, DW etc: fehlten) Internet: hat die meiste Zeit nicht oder nur ganz schlecht funktioniert (deshalb nur drei Sterne bei Ausstattung) Pools: Strand: derzeit viele Bauarbeiten (Stand: Mai 2023), aber Strand noch zugänglich Viele Koreanische Gäste (insbes Familien) Pools: gute Auswahl; leider waren 2 pools dauerhaft geschlossen (warum auch immer). Komme gern wieder, wenn der Preis angepasst oder das TV + Internet (wifi) aufgebessert wird. Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis noch im grünen Bereich

Meine vierköpfige Familie im Alter von 11 und 7 Jahren machte einen Ausflug. Wir wählten J Park, um viel Spaß im Wasser zu haben, und wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Das Frühstück wurde am nächsten Tag mit einem anderen Zeitplan bereitgestellt Es war schön, dass sie Anpassungen vorgenommen haben, sodass ich es noch am selben Tag verwenden konnte. Es war ein lustiger Ausflug, denn es gab verschiedene Badezonen, sodass es nicht langweilig wurde und ich alles im J Park genießen konnte. Ich kann nicht vergessen, dass ich während einer langen Reise den Zimmerservice für koreanisches Essen (Kimchi-Eintopf) bestellt habe und es sehr genossen habe^^

Wir checkten als 12-köpfige Familie ein und waren froh, sagen zu können, dass unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel meine Erwartungen übertroffen hat. Der außergewöhnliche Kundenservice des Hotelpersonals war das Einzige, was während unseres Aufenthalts auffiel. Sie waren immer bereit, die Extrameile zu gehen, um sicherzustellen, dass unsere Bedürfnisse erfüllt wurden, und sie taten dies mit einem aufrichtigen Lächeln und einer positiven Einstellung. Insgesamt würde ich das The Reef Island Hotel jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der einen komfortablen Aufenthalt in Mactan Cebu sucht. Der ausgezeichnete Kundenservice des Hotels, die schöne Aussicht, das köstliche Frühstück, die sauberen Zimmer und die bequemen Betten. Sie werden nicht enttäuscht sein.
