Context - 12 night stay, family with 2 young teenagers in August We stayed in Villa 100, a 'luxury 2 bed townhouse' Accomodation: Great accomodation, some maintenance required, but not important. The accomodation was spacious, clean, beds were really comfortable, showers were great, loads of kitchen storage, sofas really comfortable, effective air com, kitchen with 4 burner hob, ovem, microwave, toaster, cofferr machine, washing machine and dryer. 5 star comfort, and nearly 5 star appearance (just a few maintenence piece needed ie chips in kitchen cupbaords, locks of bathrooms not aligned etc) Outside the accomodation we had 2 loungers, 4 would have been better, a table with 4 chairs with a few of a small pool. The pool near our villa was excellent. We generally were able to get this to ourselves at some points in the day, and there were always loungers available. This isn't the main pool. The main pool is a couple of minutes walk from the villa, and again excellent. it was quiet, but still an atmosphere, no problem getting loungers. On one day we had to hunt down an umbrella. There is also an indoor pool, that opens out to a terrace. Didn't think we'd use it, but it was really nice, and we used that as well. Useful when it's windy and the outdoor pool got chilly. The spa was good. My wife had a treatment that she said was very good. there was a steam room and sauna, both good, a small gym (didn't use). Jacuzzi was open, but didn't seem to work ie no bubbles! Outdoor pool bar was closed for refurb, but an indoor alternative was available. Restaurant was probably the biggest disappointment. We were self catering, used it once, and didn't return. The food was ok, but comparing it to the external restaurants we ate at, was nowhere near as good and significantly more expensive. Service in the restaurant was more comparable to a 3 star hotel. What was particularly disappointing was that 'portuguese' night was just a subset of the standard A la carte menu. Housekeeping were variable, ranging from spectacular to average! Some days they even unloaded our dishwasher which was a lovely touch. Other days they took away hand towels and didn't replace them. Resort did not have much to do for teenagers, other than making their own entertainment in the pool, but for us that was fine. Overall, a hotel is pleasant, lovely pool areas and accommodation is extremely comfortable but let down by the restaurant. Outside of the resort, in Carvoeiro we ate at 'Elliots' in the centre, and 'Recanto da Boavista' (2 minute walk from the hotel). Both of these restaurants were excellent, and catered well for my son who has a milk allergy. The other place we went to in Carvoeiro was Sandoskas. Again really good, but more cheap and cheerful. Whilst their bread contains milk, their baguettes don't, so hot dogs with baguette is a milk free option! The ice cream shop opposite also does a good range of vegan ice creams. An Exceptional Resort Our 5th time staying at this resort and again we weren’t disappointed. The staff and service were excellent before we even arrived at the resort with prompt responses to all our requests and queries. On arrival, the staff were very welcoming and friendly and provided us with lots of information regarding the resort. They also have a WhatsApp service if you have any questions like taxi services etc., which is so useful. We booked a villa with a pool, and it was so clean, spacious, and welcoming. The pool and gardens were so tranquil and well-maintained. The resort is gated with security and very clean and well looked after – very pleasant to walk around. The daily cleaning services were outstanding and very much appreciated – the cleaners were so thorough and provided clean towels every day. The staff were always so friendly, attentive, and considerate – preserving the reputation of Portuguese people of being amiable and kind-hearted. I celebrated my birthday whilst there and they made it so special with a wonderful birthday cake and Prosecco – warmed my heart! To sum up, the resort is 5-star – fab accommodation, friendly and helpful staff, with a chilled and welcoming air – can’t wait to visit again. Erstmals in Carvoeiro & der Rocha Brava. Schöne Atmosphäre seit unserer Ankunft - willkommene Mitarbeiter, die uns in unsere Wohnung leiteten und die Gepäckhilfe anbieten. Hier ist ein riesiges Resort mit vielen Wohnungen. Wir sind direkt neben dem Kids Club und einen kurzen Spaziergang über den Park zum Poolbereich. Das Apartment war 2 Schlafzimmer, eine Suite und ein Badezimmer. riesige Wohnbereich mit Sofa, 2 Armstühle und Essenstisch mit 4 komfortablen Stühlen. Die Küche war klein, aber hatte Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle, Lebensmittelverarbeiter, Geschirrspüler und große Geschirr und Küchenartikel. Es war eine Waschmaschine in einem kleinen Raum außerhalb der Vordertür. Wir hatten auch zwei Balkone (ein für Pferdekleidung). Die Schlafzimmer waren sowohl groß, hatten neben den Tischen und einen anständigen Schrank mit vielen Hängern. Die Klimaanlagen waren auch sehr gut. Reinigungsservice der Wohnung und der Außenbereiche war fehlerfrei. Ich traf eine schöne irische Lady aus Tipperary, die seit Jahren im Rocha Brava arbeitet. Auf der Website Einrichtungen - Supermarkt, Kaffeegeschäft/fallhaftes Restaurant & Poolbar alles sehr gut und nicht eine totale Reifung. Vorzugsweise auf der Website Supermarkt als Spar. Die weiße Weinsangeria war der beste, den wir alle Urlaub im Poolbar hatten. Drei verschiedene Poolbereiche. Der Ocean View Pool & Country Pool war viel ruhiger, aber beide hatten Kinderpools befestigt. Hauptpoolbereich war groß und es gab keine Sonnenunterkünfte. Sonia überwacht den Poolbereich und gibt täglich eine neue Band an die Gäste. Sie wird Ihnen sagen, dass Sie nicht in den Sonnenunterkünften halten und Ihre Kinder beobachten usw. Ich empfehle, dass das Hotel stattdessen wöchentliche Bands ausgibt. Der Hauptpool ist am Ende viel tiefer und ich fand es schwer, die Kinder am schlanken Ende des Pools und auch den Kinderpool zu beobachten. Es gibt einen großen Pool hinter dem Hauptpool, der sehr tief ist - ich denke das Hotel vermisst eine Chance mit diesem. Es könnte eine Option sein, dies als schlanker Pool auch zu haben. Muss Macy in Kids Club erwähnen - sehr gut und gut für die Kinder. Meine Tochter wollte nicht verlassen Kids Club. Verschiedene Aktivitäten jeden Tag. Spielplatz & Mini Golf auch auf der Website. Kann nicht warten, bis sie wieder zurückkehren.

Wir hatten ein Komfortzimmer mit Terrasse im 2. OG (man muss von der Lobby aber nach unten!) mit seitlichem Meerblick. Zimmer sehr schön, groß und sauber. Das Hotel punktet mit seiner Lage über der Bucht und dem damit verbundenen Meerblick von vielen Zimmern und dem Restaurant. Von außen ist das Hotel nicht sonderlich ansehnlich und die Dekoration innen (wenn man mal von der Lobby absieht) nicht so dolle. Man läuft lange durch unpersönliche Gänge um an sein Zimmer zu kommen. Kein Tageslicht in den Gängen. Ist vielleicht nicht so super wichtig, aber irgendwie würde man von einem Hotel dieser Kategorie mehr erwarten. Frühstück ist reichhaltig und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Service ist aufmerksam. Spa-Bereich ist vorhanden, haben wir aber nicht genutzt. Ich glaube, ich würde dem Hotel trotz der Annehmlichkeiten keine 5 Sterne geben. Alles in allem hatten wir aber einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt (wir waren eine Woche da) und haben die Lage und die wunderbare Aussicht sehr genossen. Das macht einiges wett...

AMAZING! I will 100% return to Hello Villas. The pool is a great size and the pool bar has a simple menu with sandwiches, pizza, chips and drinks and is reasonably priced too. There is a barrier and porter at the entrance/exit so it felt very safe with children. Just a 10 min walk to the centre where there are plenty of places to eat and drink and shop. The walk is steep so coming back up takes a little longer and would be a challenge with a buggy or small kids/older travellers but the taxi cost around €4/€5 which we took at night and walked in the morning. The beach is stunning, the coastline is amazing and there are plenty of place to walk where you will see something different every time. We climbed through caves and jumped into the ocean and swam in cave pools. We had the 2 bed villa which was huge. Came with a washing machine and everything you could need. Beds covers and towels were changed regularly and the villa cleaned. We stayed 10 night and could have stayed 10 more

Just got back from a week here. We used it as a base for cycling which was ideal as the location was perfect to explore the area. There is an Intermarche 0.9 miles away. We had a 2 bed villa which was very spacious. Loved the separate lounge area and kitchen and of course a spare room. Yes it is dated and 1 of the beds was really noisy but was adequate for our needs. Villa Our villa faced the main road, which although seems small it was incredibly busy and we were disturbed every night, throughout the night by noisy traffic. There is a very small balcony area which didnt get the sun but the views were quite nice and you could see the sunrise. Food We were really disappointed, having stayed half board in many hotels of varying star ratings, this was by far the worst. Breakfast was childrens cereals (3 of), cold bacon, cold scrambled egg, toast, yoghurt, very watered down juices. Nice fruit salad, selection of cold meats and a cheese. It never changed. The evening meal was from a menu, hit and miss, most of the meat choices were tasteless and dry, the fish and lasagne were nice. I prefer a buffet style by choice. The waiting staff worked hard and were polite. Pool Outside pool was fantastic, plenty of sunbeds, large pool that didnt make your eyes sting or smell of chlorine. We didnt use the indoor pool. Wifi What wifi, there was none available in the villa and even when you went to the pool area or reception it was hit and miss. We needed it to upload our routes for the next day and it became an issue on occasion. There was no atmosphere at the hotel and I appreciate we came at the end of the season. I dont think we would stay here again sadly.

Das Wohnzimmer ist sehr groß. Ich habe das Restaurant und den Pool nicht ausprobiert. Die Rezeption war sehr freundlich und kostengünstig.

Großes und ruhiges Zimmer, aber die Schranken sind alt und schmutzig und mit gefangenen Teilen. Großes aber schmutziges Balkon und braucht eine Aktualisierung in der Gemälde. Bad mit guter Raum aber mit starkem Geruch, das aus dem Rail kommt. Das Zimmer ist groß und es wäre gut, einen zusätzlichen Müll zu haben, weil es nur im Badezimmer und in der Küche. Die Mini-Küche hat eine gute Kühlschrank, aber die Schranken und Schrank sind sehr alt, mit starkem Geruch. Ich habe den Mangel an Detergenz und Schlauch in der Küche. Auf der Ebene des Zimmers würde es rechtfertigen, einen Nespresso zu haben, wäre sehr gut. Für den günstigen Punkt sind die Handtücher von hervorragender Qualität sowohl im Zimmer als auch im Pool. Der Poolbereich ist schön, gut betreuten Garten und Top-Stühle zu schlafen. Die Bar ist auch interessant, aber ich habe nicht verwendet, weil ich die Preise ein wenig teuer fand. Mittlere Frühstück, ich empfehle frische Orangensaft zu verbessern und mehr Brünoptionen. Wir essen einen Tag im Hotel, ich empfehle nicht, es ist ein Buffetservice und das Essen war nicht gut, es war teuer. Besser, die Mahlzeiten raus zu machen.

Wir haben Anfang August eine Woche in Placid Village verblieben, das Komplex ist sehr willkommen und gut gepflegt, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und nichts ist zu viel Problem. Wir haben immer ein Sonnenbett am Pool jeden Tag, es gibt keinen Rennen am Morgen und die Leute kommen und gehen den ganzen Tag. Ich habe ein paar Wochen vor unserer Ankunft eine Wohnung mit Meerblick anfordern (dies ist sicherlich in der Entfernung) und genau das haben wir. Wir hatten eine 3-Bett-Apartment, die unverschämt und sehr geräumig, voll funktionsfähige Küche, zwei Balkone, ein echtes Haus von zu Hause und sehr gut ausgetan. Der Spaziergang in Carvoeiro dauert rund 10-15 Minuten nach unten und hat in der Regel einen Uber zurück als billig und reichlich. Auf dem Weg in die Stadt ist ein kleiner Minimarkt für Essentials, aber wenn Sie einen Hauptshop machen wollen, gibt es mehrere Supermärkte in Lagoa, (Intermarche, ALDI, Apolonia, Pingo Doce) die weniger als 4 Euros jede Reise von Uber, wenn Sie kein Auto haben. Die einzige Nebenseite war eine der Schlafzimmer hatte keinen hangfreien Raum, nur einige Zeichnungen aber es gab eine große Schranke in den anderen beiden Schlafzimmern und als wir ankamen, war niemand in der Rezeption, Es gibt keine Anrufklocke, so dass Paul nur warten musste, um uns zu prüfen, in welchem zu der Zeit fühlte sich ewig nachdem Sie seit einem halben Tag reisen, um dort zu kommen. Wir genossen unsere Aufenthalte in Placid Village gründlich und würden sicher wieder dorthin zurückkehren.
