Robert's Roost RV Park Resort

Roberts Roost is a great place to stay! Close enough to Quesnel but yet quiet. We stayed in the Garden Suite and it was enough for the 2 of us. The resort is clean, well maintained, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Perfect place to spend a couple of days. I would highly recommend it for both RV’s or the vacation rentals.

The campground is good but, they can be a little trying. We brought our grandkids here and when there parents arrived to pick them up, they were informed they needed to pay 5 dollars to enter the campground.

Another lovely trip to the Roost! New caretakers for this summer and wow Ken and Sheena you are doing an amazing job! Bathrooms have never been so clean and painting is being done to upkeep! Awesome work!Thank you for making this jewel shine!

First, I'll give FIVE STARS to the staff - they were great, friendly and helpful. But the "dry" tent-camping spot was substantially poorer. It was a 20ft x 40ft patch of grass, separated by logs, with NO shade. I was so close to my neighbour I could hear him zip up his sleeping bag. No privacy, no shade, for $35/night. And I rented the "fishing boat" for $70 for 2 hrs. It was OK, an old riveted tin boat with an electric motor, but the oars were clamped down and not properly adjusted, and there were no rodholders. So - OK if you're gregarious and have your own boat, but not worth the money they want. Go to a Provincial Park instead if you have a tent.

On the positives, the park was very clean and our site had a tree and a shrub. They are very narrow though. With our unit's pop out and the unit next door there was about a 6" gap. Took a bit of jockeying to fit into the site. The awning would have touched the neighbor. I think maybe some of the sites might be a bit wider. Low amp electricity. We were constantly blowing the breaker. No beach that I saw but there is a dock.
