Der Frühstücksladen ist sehr gut. Es ist teuer. Ich frühstücke nicht. Ich bin knapp 200 Leute. Belmond, ich mag die Marke. Das Hotel liegt in der Mitte des Berges. Ich kann es direkt vom Tafelberg aus sehen. Ich habe nicht viel Unsinn. Das obige Bild ist es wert, studiert zu werden.

Wer Kapstadt einmal richtig kennenlernen will, sollte hier übernachten. Die Wege zu Restaurants, Cafés, Geschäften und Sehenswürdigkeiten sind kurz und man benötigt keinen PKW. Die Zimmer sind modern und großzügig gestaltet, wir hatten von der 10. Etage aus einen herrlichen Panoramablick auf den Tafelberg und den Lion Head. Die Betten waren sehr gut, das Bad bestens ausgestattet. Das Essen im Hotel war schmackhaft und nicht teuer. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt: Der Poolbereich wurde häufig an private Gruppen vergeben, so dass die anderen Gäste des Hotels hier keinen Platz mehr fanden. Zur Waterfront verkehrt zeitweise ein kostenloser Shuttlebus, aber ein Taxi ist auch sehr günstig. Empfehlenswert ist der Hop on hop off Bus, deren rote oder blaue Route u.a. den Tafelberg oder den schönen Botanischen Garten von Kirstenbosch im Programm hat. Tickets gibts in der Longstreet oder an der Waterfront. Kapstadt ist wunderschön, die Menschen sind unglaublich freundlich und auch nach unserem 6. Aufentalt in Cape Town gibts nichts Negatives zu berichten. Selbst die Pandemie scheinen sie wegzulächeln, Hygieneregeln sind für alle selbstverständlich.

Einfach spitze! Der krönende Abschluss unserer Südafrika Rundreise. Schöne große Zimmer, mit 2 großen bequemen Betten, sogar ein Fenster kann man ein wenig öffnen (ein sehr großes Plus), sodass man die Klimaanlage nicht unbedingt einschalten muss. Großes Badezimmer, extra WC, extra Dusche, Bademäntel und Badeschlapfen ebenfalls vorhanden. Kaffeemaschine und Wasserkocher vorhanden. Beim Frühstück hat es an nichts gefehlt, ganz toll. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, und aufmerksam, besonders beim Frühstück. Im gesamten Hotel Lobby- Bar- und Frühstücksbereich nicht zu stark unterkühlte Temperatur. Ein angenehmer Duft „White Tea“ strömt durchs ganze Haus. Ein kleiner Pool und ein größeres Hallenbad stehen zur Verfügung, beides aus Zeitmangel nicht genutzt. Zur Waterfront geht man ca 20 Minuten. Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt, leider nur für 2 Nächte.

We stayed for 3 nights but the housekeeper didn't seem to clean the room properly. My rubbish such as used coffee cup didn't get cleared. View is terrible as well. I got the largest room but my room faced the KPMG sign. The sign is on 24/7 and we couldn't get a proper sleep.

We stayed for a week in April while attending a conference at the Convention Centre. We had a room on the second floor facing the shipping containers near the cruise terminal. In spite of the disappointing view, the room was spacious and comfortable. The restocking of the room was random and we had to ask for water bottles or lotion. The breakfast buffet was included and the staff were wonderful. For a few days they had a separate table with vegan and gluten free items. The other days I would just ask and they would bring me gf bread or vegan yogurt. They have a shuttle going to the waterfront 3 times in the day but we never took it as the timings did not suit us. Ubers were cheap and easy to take to and from the hotel. We stored our luggage at the hotel for a few days while we went on safari and then we returned for one more night before heading home. The room we got the second time was on the third floor and we could hear a frequent loud drilling sound. The front desk didn't know where the sound was coming from but they upgraded us to a suite on the 5th floor which was huge and had a view of table mountain. This was much appreciated as we were exhausted and had a very long flight home the next day. On our final day we took the water taxi (which was a tour boat) along the canal to the V&A waterfront. This also is included by the hotel and they issue a ticket and you get the boat behind the hotel. We noticed how easy it would be to walk to the waterfront too (in daylight). The front desk staff told us not to walk to/from the convention centre after 6pm when it was dark as it was dangerous. There were guards stationed at the roundabout towards the hotel but we were told they were there to keep baboons away. We walked the short 5 minute walk in the mornings and took an uber at night. This hotel and breakfast made it worth the money, but request a room facing table mountain. Front desk staff and security were also excellent.

I would firstly like to commemorate and congratulate you at an absolutely amazing, tranquil and just spectacular magical venue. Upon entering the spa, I was immediately teleported into a space of tranquility and bliss like vibes. My entire being leaped and bubbled with shear utter bliss. The goddess in me was doing triple cartwheels, being greeted by the friendly host Carmilita, with a huge smile and a warm welcome. Which immediately made me feel right at home and part of the family I was absolutely delighted with this.  It was the entrance that did it for me first impressions last, they say, right down to the ambiance and aroma including the chilled glass of water infused with cucumber and mint that tickled my senses and allowed my inner goddess to go yes and thank you. The host invited me on a tour of the facilities which I must acknowledge was like stepping into a magical universe. I do believe that when someone does something with passion it creates a ripple that allows one to experience the magic of the space and Carmilita was exceptional. Every single space I was taken into just took my breath away the only thing that I could vocalize was wow! Right down to the aroma in the air made all my senses burst into bliss, in all honesty my favorite nook in and around the spa I must admit was the hidden gem garden vibe surrounded with trees and soft seating. The changing rooms were inviting and welcoming and boasted a sense of luxury, comfort and relaxation again wow! But the grammy definitely goes to Kamo my therapist absoloodles she was phenomenal. I have never dosed off when a therapist massaged me but this magical being she was definitely the cherry on the cake. The manner and professionalism in which she welcomed me and carried herself was next level I can simply say. She was so tuned in that she knew exactly where to press and the exact amount of pressure the particular part of my body required and needed. I can say with confidence in no unambiguous terms The One & Only Spa is the one that stole my heart in every sense. Just what my inner goddess needed I thoroughly enjoyed every experience and every facility at the spa and resort right down to the floating pool that made me magically levitate 🙂. Isola just what the name translates Island of magic, where I had a mouth-watering lunch just tantalizing to my palette, I had the best Grilled Kingklip. To end I would like to say that what makes any establishment great is the people, especially when done with passion and precision when you have staff that is passionate about what they do it makes any establishment run like a well-oiled machine. I hope one day soon I get to enjoy the blissful experience at The One & Only until then thank you so much for just what I can say was truly a magical experience my visit to your spa definitely exceeded my expectations.

Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet. Frühstück und Service sehr gut. Sauberes Zimmer. Wir blieben hier eine Nacht und die einzige Frage war Zimmerlage. Wir backen bis zum Poolbereich und es war zuweilen etwas laut. Neben diesem ein großer Wert mit der Wasserfront als Nachbar.

Wir kamen übermüdet bereits schon sehr früh im Hotel an und wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und durften bereits schon sehr zeitig in unser Zimmer mit Blick auf den Tafelberg. Die Einrichtung im Zimmer erfüllt die allgemeinen Ansprüche, lediglich bedarf es einer Renovierung der Silikonfugen / kleiner Schönheitskorrekturen an der Badezimmertür (abgeplatzte Farbe) bzw. Zeitgemäße Deckenlampen. Das Frühstück war spitze, frisches Omelette, frisches Obst mit frischem knackigem Brot und Toast. Ansprechend angerichtet und zuvorkommender Service. Unter dem Hotel befindet sich eine Tiefgarage mit ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten. Besonders positiv fanden wir den kostenfreien Shuttle Service zur Waterfront. We stayed nearly 6 weeks in rm 428 a loft at the back overlooking the President Hotel. Location: At the base of Regent Rd, restaurants, shops, main bus route plus hop on hop off bus stop in front of hotel. Sea down the road. Grocers. Checkers, Spar, Woolworths. Size: Sitting room, bedroom, two bathrooms. Bathroom Good shower, hot water, pressure Noise: Quiet. Cleanliness. Brilliant. Facilities: AC, good kitchen equipment, fridge, no washing machine. Swimming pool. Tiny, but large pool not far. Laundry. Just across the road 130 rand for 5kg Storage. More than ample. TV. Bit eccentric, but Netflix access included. Broadband. Width OK for email, but not consistent streaming. Breakfast: Competent, fruit, cooked, Snack menu. Limited, but competent (stops midday) Bar. Good options, superb barman Staff. Friendly. Load shedding. Back up generator. Information pack in room would be useful. Would we stay again? YES.
