Sol Palmanova All Inclusive

We have just left this hotel after a weeks stay as a couple in their early 20s. We have stayed at another hotel by this chain in a different country and this hotel was definitely superior. Check in - very smooth process, please note there are 2 hotels, we weren’t actually staying in the hotel we had initially arrived to but it is a 1 minute walk down the road. Location- brilliant location only a 5 minute walk to the bars, beach and restaurant, we didn’t bother going into magaluf but it is definitely within walking distance. Rooms- our initial thought was wow this room is really small, and although we got used to it, I think any more than two people in this room would have definitely been too cramped. We found the beds to be very comfy, and the bathroom was lovely- shower was amazing! Pool/outside area- 3 pools, we usually stayed in the pool outside Sol 2 area, as we found the larger one to be very very cold. As most hotels people were up extremely early reserving sunbeds, and it might be because we went in September, but we didn’t struggle to get a sun bed at all. We made full use of the snack bar as we found this food to be better than the food served at lunch!! Entertainment - there was always entertainment at night, it wasn’t really what we were in to and we were out most nights so only watched a couple of shows. Bars- the queues for the bars did get a bit ridiculous and we waited up to 15 minutes on some occasions, but the bar staff were great. We aren’t big drinkers at all, but loved the cocktails! Restaurant- we decided to eat out most nights as the first night we had tea in the hotel and it was fine, but our personal preference was to go out to eat. The food was a bit repetitive, but as a fussy eater I was happy enough with the choices of food. Can not fault breakfast at all, by far the best meal of the day!! Overall we had a really great holiday, there are a few points as mentioned above that could possibly be improved on, but none of them stopped us having a good time. I’ve seen some extremely negative reviews and I have tried to be as honest as possible in mine, I do appreciate that we came at a quieter time of the year so perhaps things are a bit different in peak times. We will definitely be back!! :)

Had the most amazing first family holiday with our 8month old baby. The hotel had everything we needed for a relaxing week away. Great entertainment and games all through the day with the outstanding entertainment team who work soo hard day in day out and always have a smile on their faces. The pools were great plenty of space to play or swim. As all inclusive goes we enjoyed the food and so did our Baby with all the fresh fruit. Location is perfect right in the middle of Palma. To sum it up if you want a great family hotel where kids can have fun and adults can too then this hotel is where I would recommend. Definitely coming back and cannot wait to have fun with the team there.

After reading mixed reviews we was sceptical. However, could not fault the hotel. Clean, staff are efficient. Food is nice. Pool cleaned daily. Activities are fun. Alex was very friendly and welcoming. Only thing I’d say is - plugs needed near the mirrors to get ready for us girls. But other than that, 10/10 for us. Would come again! Not sure why it’s had any negative reviews. Location is perfect also!

My friend and I (mid 30s) stayed here for 5 nights. The hotel and room were very clean however it was one of the tiniest rooms I have ever stayed in. We were never in it so it wasn't really a problem. Lovely big pool however come late morning most of it is shaded which was annoying so everyone crowds around the small pool. We just went to the beach in the afternoons which Is literally a 2 minute walk. The location is fabulous. Stone through from a lovely beach and plenty of shops and bars. We went a walk into magaluf one night and it only took us 15 minutes. The food was so repetitive. By the last night I was sick of it and I was glad I wasn't eating in there for a full week. The deserts (3 choices) were exactly the same every single night. The cocktails were lovely though. All in all I absolutely loved the location but wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

10/10. 7 Days All Inclusive with my Girlfriend. If you come to Palma, stay in Sol Palma Nova. It won’t disappoint. We spent 7 Days here and are booking up again for next year. ▪️ Food & Drink - Plenty of options to keep everyone happy. ▪️ Hotel - Stunning. Very clean. Lots of entertainment and activities to keep you busy or you could sit by either of the two swimming pools on offer. ▪️ Staff - Hard working, happy to help and do all they can to make you feel included. Nothing was every too much for them. They are the heart and soul. ▪️ Location - Great location. Palma Nova has great nightlife, plenty of bars and restaurants to chose from. Magaluf only 10 minute on foot. Palma only 30 minute by bus. ▪️ Room - The rooms are modern and clean with balconies. It’s everything you want and need from a hotel room.

The short story is we had another good stay and would return again. Just returned from a 10 night break Sep/Oct 22. We've been coming to this pair of hotels for several years, since it was called Mirlos Tordos and the main pool used to be in the courtyard in front of where the stage is now. Obviously, due to Covid, we haven't been for a while. The changes we noticed were; the food had improved since our last few stays, lunch and evenings, the fry up part of breakfast was a bit hit and miss, - often served cold and overcooked - but the bakery section was very good. The best improvement by some margin has been the introduction of Barista style coffee machines in the two main bars, absolutely far superior to the vending machines and for a coffee drinker like myself, almost a good enough reason on it's own to warrant a return. But the second good reason is a selection of properly made cocktail drinks, in particular the Mojito's. Fresh mint and hand made, not out of a machine. Really good :-) Realistically this hotel only needs to improve a couple of items to be top class again (it used to be rated number 1 in Palmanova reviews). That would be to have just one more serving staff (at all times) in the two bars. And to find some way of constructing two more lifts to the rooms, when one breaks down it causes far too long a wait. But all in all, for the price paid, this complex offers excellent value for money. See you again next year :-)

First time and loved it. Just returned home from a week in the sun at Sol Palmanova, me my partner and our little girl age 2. We loved it and it was ideal place for our daughter, she could happily play in the kids pools all day (literally) with arm bands on and on the slides on her own. The entertainment was a bit cringe and was at 9:45 but she loved it and they tried their best, at 8:30 was a disco I think which we was never around for as we usually went out for a few drinks after our evening meal but the main entertainment starting at 9:45 I think is a tad late for the little ones. There was tons of activities round at the smaller pool near the outside bar & Sol 2 block but it was rammed and not really our vibe. The rooms are kinda small which is probably the only proper down side, you could barely get past the pram in your room and 3 single beds with one of them being infront of the balcony door is abit of a pain. The lifts situation wasn’t bad when we was there, maybe 3-5 mins sometimes for a lift, 3rd floor, but if we could be bothered would carry the pram down if waiting any longer, but not really the case if your on the 8th floor. The all inclusive was perfect for us as cocktails was flowing (no cider included by the way), there’s the snack bar all day (but covered in flies lol) near the stage and then then after tea meal was also snack bar inside the main food place til 11pm. My daughter especially loved the ice cream pots at the snack bar, not sure if you can get these behind the bars as only ever got them from the snack bar during the day. Food pretty standard, we ate out 3 nights out of 7, breakfast was lush just didn’t really love any of the evening meal stuff but we aren’t really extravagant eaters anyway so the fish and red meats wasn’t really something we eat at home either. Would 100% return, 20 mins in taxi from hotel and such a good location like right in the middle of Palmanova, so walk left out the back gate or right and was a good little mooch every night! Only negative :Small rooms & Snack bar needs some lids or something so is all sealed or just looks dried out and gross.

Just returned from 4 nights at this hotel and we were very impressed. After reading the reviews we weren’t sure what to expect. This was our first holiday with our 6 month old baby and it was great. The food was brilliant great choice, we eat every breakfast and lunch. At night we went out for dinner as this is what we enjoy. There was plenty of choice and they even had jars of baby food for the wee one. The drinks were great good choice and we never experienced queues too long. We booked a family room and it was a great size for cases, cot and had an extra room with couch and tele with double balcony. Never had any issues with the air conditioning, room was lovely and cool. The place was spotless and loads of room. The pools were great a little cold but that was down to the time of year. It’s a great hotel for kids, loads of entertainment, splash pool to keep them busy. We had no problem getting beds each morning and enjoyed a seat at sol 2 pool in the afternoon. The location is ideal for the beach and a short walk to the pubs and restaurants. Would definitely return and thought it was great value for money.
