Nachdem ich die Bewertungen gelesen hatte, war ich sehr besorgniserregend über unseren Aufenthalt hier, aber wir waren angenehmen überrascht. Wir prüften um 9 Uhr, hatten ein warmes Willkommen und eine schnelle Eincheckung. Wir mussten einen Code einsetzen, um den Aufzug zu erreichen, dann die Schlüsselkarte, um uns ins Zimmer zu nehmen. Alles sehr sicher. Unser Zimmer war sauber und warm. Es hatte einen Kühlschrank und einen anständigen TV. Ausgehen in der Nacht war es mit Regen schütteln und der Empfänger gab uns seine Schatten, um ...total gentlemen! Wir waren nicht gestört oder beunruhigt über unseren Aufenthalt. Wir waren glücklich und sicher Wir nahmen am Montag aus, aber hatten einige Stunden vor der Ankunft am Flughafen. Wir konnten unsere Gepäck kostenlos im Hotel in einem verschlossenen Gepäckraum halten. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und würden wieder bleiben. Es ist ein altes Gebäude wie viele andere in Budapest, und es gibt einige andere Wohnungen und Bewohner, die im Gebäude bleiben, aber es war alles sehr sicher, das Gebäude wird von Bewegungsleuchten betrieben, So scheint es dunkel, aber die Lichter kommen, wie Sie laufen. Wenn Sie nach etwas 4 oder 5 Stern suchen, ist das nicht der Ort, sondern ein komfortables Bett, warme Dusche und eine tolle Lage für die Erforschung!

The Florin hotel in Budapest was excellent as was the location. Area 6 is well located to the Jewish quarter and the bohemian area. The hotel is 10 min walk to St Stephen’s church. Trams stop right outside the hotel and main metro station is less than a 10 min walk. For over 65s public transport is free, but is cheap anyway and so easy to get about. Attila, Balint and Lori at reception were great ambassadors for Budapest and the hotel - helpful and friendly. The rooms spacious with a little kitchenette and good bathroom. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Vorteile: Die Lage ist gut, gegenüber dem Parlamentsgebäude und neben der Fisherman's Bastion. Wir haben auch eine U-Bahn-Station gesehen, diese aber nicht genommen. Ich verlasse mich hauptsächlich auf meine Beine, manchmal nehme ich auch ein Taxi. Ich habe mich nicht für das Frühstück im Hotel entschieden, nachdem ich die Bewertungen gelesen hatte. Schließlich haben wir nicht viel zum Frühstück gegessen und es kostete 17 Euro pro Person. Hinter dem Hotel gab es ein paar sehr gute kleine Cafés. Hinter dem Hotel wird es einen Spar-Supermarkt und ein chinesisches Restaurant geben, in dem man gelegentlich abends essen kann. Der Chef kommt aus Peking, daher fühle ich mich mit ihm vertrauter. Er macht sehr gut scharfe und saure Suppen und Reisnudeln. Der Nachteil ist, dass das Familienzimmer, in dem wir geschrieben haben, nicht sehr groß ist, sondern nur ein offenes Schlafsofa. Die Einrichtungen sind durchschnittlich. In anderen Hotels gibt es jeden Tag mindestens zwei Flaschen kostenloses Mineralwasser, in diesem Hotel gibt es jedoch keine. Es gibt kostenlose Teebeutel und Instantkaffee. Allerdings werden Teebeutel nach dem Trinken nicht wieder aufgefüllt. Ich habe eines Tages einen Teebeutel aufgebrüht und ihn für eine Weile vergessen. Als ich versuchte, ihn erneut zu trinken, war er so stark, dass es zu lange dauerte, und ich trank ihn. Es gibt keine Utensilien in der Toilette. Ich verstehe, dass die meisten Hotels in Europa keine Zahnbürsten, Zahnpasta und Hausschuhe anbieten, aber keine Duschhauben, Make-up-Entferner-Pads oder kleine Kämme. Ctrip sagte, ich würde 9 Euro Steuern zahlen, als ich im Laden ankam, aber sie berechneten mir 17 Euro und ich fragte nicht danach. Insgesamt ist es in Ordnung. Es kostet nur über 600 pro Nacht. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist nicht schlecht.

I was supposed to stay for three nights at the MP Hostel in Budapest; but left a couple of hours after I checked in. I arrived in the hostel before the check-in time; thus requested to leave my suitcase while awaiting check-in. Receptionist David just told me, ”You can put it in the storage room.” He did not even show me where the storage room is. I had to find the room myself. Mind you, David was not busy at that time. He was just chatting with a friend in the reception area. When I finally checked in the hostel late afternoon and went to my room, I noticed that the room was very cold. I opened the heater knob; and waited for more than an hour. No changes; it was still very cold. I then went to the reception; and informed receptionist David about this. He was in the reception, indeed, just talking to another hostel staff Daniel who is apparently the hostel F&B manager. He casually told me, ”Open the heater valve.” To which I replied, ”I did that more than an hour ago; but it's still very cold. Perhaps you can accompany me to the room; and we can both check the heater.” David answered, ”It's not my job. I'm the receptionist; not the technician... and the technician is not here. Wait for your room to get warm.” I said, ”It's been more than an hour since I opened the heater; but the room never got warm at all. If it's not your job to address the heater problem, then who can help me fix this? Can you at least transfer me to another room with a working heating system?” After David called up someone and checked the available rooms, he finally agreed to move me to another room. While I was at the reception waiting for my new room to be ready, I was talking to a friend on the phone to express my disappointment. When David said that my room was ready, I hung my phone up right away; and was surprised when he said, ”I”M A F*CKING RECEPTIONIST. THE HOSTEL MANAGEMENT PLACED ME HERE BECAUSE I SPEAK ENGLISH. CHECKING THE ROOM OR THE HEATER IS NOT MY JOB.” I replied, ” Where did the 'F*CKING RECEPTIONIST' words come from? To be clear, I never addressed you a 'F*CKING RECEPTIONIST.' ” I said these sentences at least twice, to reiterate my point. Without knowing the context of the conversation because he (Daniel) was playing a video game on his phone, F&B manager Daniel suddenly charged at me, kept on pointing his right index finger at me, and raised his voice, ”Don't you dare disrespect my friend and call him 'F*CKING RECEPTIONIST' OR ELSE...” I then said, ”I didn't even call David a 'F*CKING RECEPTIONIST.' Go ask him.” When David agreed that I did not call him that, I then went inside my new room which was still very cold. Heater in the new room was not working. Again. After all the negative experience at MP Hostel Budapest, I decided to leave right away; and found another private room in a hostel nearby. Zero customer service. Aggressive. Threatening. I hope the hostel will improve on its customer service, and value its guests.

5 Nächte für eine Konferenz mit 3 anderen Kollegen. Quaint Hotel, das sein Alter ansieht. Hatte sehr freundlich und hilfsbereites Personal beim Ein-/Auschecken. Hatte eine Suite genommen, aber es war ziemlich klein. Die Haupttür wurde in ein Vorzimmer mit 2 Innentüren geöffnet - von denen 1 ins Schlafzimmer führte (nur genügend Platz für ein Doppelbett mit 2 kleinen Seitentisch). Die andere Tür führte in ein kleines Wohnzimmer (Bekleidungszimmer, Sofa, TV, und ein kleiner runder Tisch mit einem Stuhl). Bad ist ein wenig dimm. Frühstücksbuffet hatte Standard-Ham und Käseschnitte, geschrotet Eier, Brot, Getreide, Obst - wiederholt täglich. Bemerkt, dass das Personal nach jedem Abendessen die Schneidwerke ändert, aber die Platzmatten auf dem Tisch nicht ändert. Lage ist ausgezeichnet mit nahe gelegenen Zug und Busbahnhof führt zu allen großen Attraktionen. Auch haben Supermärkte in der Nähe.

Am Beginn und zum Ende einer 3- wöchigen Asien-Tour mit Abflug/Ankunft Budapest habe ich im neuen Intercity-Hotel direkt am Keleti-Bahnhof übernachtet. Die Zimmer sind wie bei alle neuen Intercity-Hotel praktisch eingerichtet und man findet auch genügend Platz für das Gepäck. Das Hotel liegt am Baross tèr, 5 Minuten Fussweg vom Keleti-Bahnhof und auch der Metro entfernt. Ideale Lage für Bahnreisende und auch Stadtbesucher. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, ich habe auch einen early check-in bekommen. Das Frühstück war mit mehreren Käse- und Salamisorten und diversen Backwaren sehr vielfältig. Neben dem Hotel befindet sich ein SPAR-Markt, da kann man sich preisgünstig Getränke kaufen.

This hotel suited us. Right from the start we received good welcome from reception and throughout the stay they were cheerful, always acknowledged us when we came in and out and were happy to call us taxis. The place was very clean. Breakfast met all our needs: selection of cheeses/salami/ham, musli, fresh fruit cocktail, bowls of fruit, pastries, yogurt, avocado, breads, bacon, sausages, scrambled egg, beans, salad, peppers, coffee/hot chocolate machine was good, fruit juices etc. I really wanted to use the hot tub/sauna but we ran out of time so can’t comment on that. Our apartment itself (703) was very good. We had 2 floors with 2 bedrooms. Each bedroom had a good tv, nice decor, beds and pillows I found super comfy, had a better night sleep than I do at home. Only negative for me was that the bedroom we had never had a wardrobe, the one next door had a good wardrobe and there was also one downstairs if we were really bothered and wished to hang up and run up and down the stairs, but we never had much clothes for the weekend so were happy to stack jumpers under bedside table and I lay my trousers over the top of my case so wasn’t a huge issue for me. Shower was great! Bathroom modern and clean. Had a hairdryer, shower cap and shower gel and body lotion. Lounge area had a sofa, dining table and kitchen area with fridge, microwave, kettle, hob and pans/utensils. They provided a tea towel and dish liquid, few sachets of coffee and tea bags but no sugar or milk cartons. The system they used was if you wanted the bedroom cleaning the next day you had to put a sign on door the evening before (before midnight). If you wanted towels changing then had to let reception know. Big plus for us was that the hotel was very quiet, no outside noise to disturb our sleep and that we had 2 bedrooms so our daughter had her own room and a proper bed. This was in preference to 1 hotel room with a sofa bed which I didn’t want. I thought the cost was good. Only other comment is that the hotel is a little out of the centre which we knew when we booked, but chose the hotel based on cost, having the 2 bedrooms and a lounge rather than all in a hotel room, good reviews and the fact that it was quiet as wasn’t in the city centre. There was option to use the nearby public transport but we were happy to walk, or called a taxi when we needed to. Overall I was really happy with the stay.

Diese Wohnung ist sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Es ist sehr neu, wo alles im Zimmer sehr hochtech ist. Der Gräfin für das Fenster wird automatisch geöffnet und geschlossen, um das Zimmer kühl zu halten, sowie Strom sparen etc... und sie haben sogar eine Waschmaschine! Es ist so professionell! Das Zimmer ist gemütlich mit einem komfortablen Bett. Das Badezimmer riecht gut. Alles ist fehlerfrei. Und der Hauptpunkt ist der Preis ist sehr niedrig!!! Deshalb werde ich das für alle von Ihnen sehr empfehlen.

Das Hotel wurde erst vor kurzem eröffnet und bietet ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Zimmer sind sauber, aber sehr klein. Kaum Platz für Gepäck. Das Einchecken war sehr chaotisch und das Personal braucht mehr Training oder Erfahrung. Das Personal beim Einchecken war mehrere Minuten lang in einem Telefonat und ignorierte uns. Das Fitnessstudio ist viel zu einfach und klein.

Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb direkt neben dem Puszkas-Stadion. Die Metro- Station ist direkt vor der Tür. Damit kommt man bequem in die Innenstadt. Das große Hotel hat eine große freundliche Lobby mit angeschlossener Bar. Die Zimmer waren nicht übermäßig groß und hatten einen Balkon, Fernsehen mit deutschen Programmen, kleinen Kühlschrank (leer), leiser Klimaanlage und genügend Staumöglichkeiten. Die Badezimmer mit Wanne und Duschvorhang waren sehr klein. Alles war sauber und gepflegt aber nicht mehr ganz taufrisch. Schlafen bei offenen Fenster war wegen des Straßenlärms nicht möglich. Das Frühstück bot für jeden etwas. Von herzhaft warm (Rührei, Würstchen) und kalt, über Gesundes (Müsli, Obst) bis süß (Kuchen). Für Besucher der Sportanlagen rings um das Hotel können wir das Haus empfehlen. Ansonsten findet man vergleichbares sicher auch in der Innenstadt.
