Dieses Hotel konnte buchstäblich nichts schlimmeres bekommen.... Sie haben hier ein paar Nächte geblieben. Sieht aus wie etwas, das Sie bei einer späten Morduntersuchung gesehen hätten... Veraltet. Müde, Stink. Im Zimmer 330 für 4 Nächte geblieben. Die Nachbarin neben der Tür weckte uns am letzten Abend um 3 Uhr mit Tiger-Telefon auf der Seite und es machte das noch um 04:16 keine Halte! Rauchen!!! Kann man verschiedene Nachbarn während des Besuchs durch die Wände kämpfen hören. Nur um die Aufzüge im dritten Stock waren voll von dem, was erscheint, wie rauchen Partyzimmer voller Schreien, Party-Junge und das Rezeptionspersonal nicht wirklich kümmern oder vergessen, wie viel Lärm sie machen. Ich meine, ich könnte sie von meinem Zimmer hören und sie sind in der Nähe der Aufzüge!!! . Absolut unbehaglich hier bleiben. Ich würde dieses Hotel nicht sehr empfehlen. Bleiben Sie irgendwo anders für weniger!!! Die Qualität des Schlafes, die Sie hier erhalten, ist extrem schlecht! Fragen Sie ein Zimmer entfernt vom Innenhof, wenn Sie auch schlafen wollen! Es hatte sogar Schalter, die Lichter auf der Bettkugel Ebene, so dass wenn Sie wie ich sind und nicht schlafen können auf diesem Hotel wegen des gesamten Lärms und bewegen Sie sich, Sie werden es mit Ihrem Kugel fangen.... Alle Lichter kommen auf! Mehrfache Zeiten... und Sie sind wach! Arme Zimmerdesign zu fest in den 70er Jahren oder so... Während das Zimmer mit Klimaanlage ist es extrem laut und klingt wie Ihr Laufen eine Tappe Alle Nacht im anderen Zimmer.... macht sehr wenig, um das Zimmer zu kühlen nur alles über dieses Hotel ist schrecklich und irreführend... Ich gab das 1/5, weil ich es nicht 0 geben konnte! Ich empfehle es nicht überhaupt, nicht einmal für die Lage gibt es viel bessere Hotels!

I was supposed to stay for three nights at the MP Hostel in Budapest; but left a couple of hours after I checked in. I arrived in the hostel before the check-in time; thus requested to leave my suitcase while awaiting check-in. Receptionist David just told me, ”You can put it in the storage room.” He did not even show me where the storage room is. I had to find the room myself. Mind you, David was not busy at that time. He was just chatting with a friend in the reception area. When I finally checked in the hostel late afternoon and went to my room, I noticed that the room was very cold. I opened the heater knob; and waited for more than an hour. No changes; it was still very cold. I then went to the reception; and informed receptionist David about this. He was in the reception, indeed, just talking to another hostel staff Daniel who is apparently the hostel F&B manager. He casually told me, ”Open the heater valve.” To which I replied, ”I did that more than an hour ago; but it's still very cold. Perhaps you can accompany me to the room; and we can both check the heater.” David answered, ”It's not my job. I'm the receptionist; not the technician... and the technician is not here. Wait for your room to get warm.” I said, ”It's been more than an hour since I opened the heater; but the room never got warm at all. If it's not your job to address the heater problem, then who can help me fix this? Can you at least transfer me to another room with a working heating system?” After David called up someone and checked the available rooms, he finally agreed to move me to another room. While I was at the reception waiting for my new room to be ready, I was talking to a friend on the phone to express my disappointment. When David said that my room was ready, I hung my phone up right away; and was surprised when he said, ”I”M A F*CKING RECEPTIONIST. THE HOSTEL MANAGEMENT PLACED ME HERE BECAUSE I SPEAK ENGLISH. CHECKING THE ROOM OR THE HEATER IS NOT MY JOB.” I replied, ” Where did the 'F*CKING RECEPTIONIST' words come from? To be clear, I never addressed you a 'F*CKING RECEPTIONIST.' ” I said these sentences at least twice, to reiterate my point. Without knowing the context of the conversation because he (Daniel) was playing a video game on his phone, F&B manager Daniel suddenly charged at me, kept on pointing his right index finger at me, and raised his voice, ”Don't you dare disrespect my friend and call him 'F*CKING RECEPTIONIST' OR ELSE...” I then said, ”I didn't even call David a 'F*CKING RECEPTIONIST.' Go ask him.” When David agreed that I did not call him that, I then went inside my new room which was still very cold. Heater in the new room was not working. Again. After all the negative experience at MP Hostel Budapest, I decided to leave right away; and found another private room in a hostel nearby. Zero customer service. Aggressive. Threatening. I hope the hostel will improve on its customer service, and value its guests.

We had a reasonably sized 1 bed appt. From other reviews I was worried about noise and bad behaviour of groups of tourists but this is a block of 90 apartments and only 24 are tourist rentals. Others include a number of people with the title ”Dr” so they are not riffraff, if you know what I mean. Our stay so far has been very quiet. Almost no noise from inside the block. It's the centre of a city so there is road noise etc but the windows are triple glazed so keep the noise out very well. Lift and corridors are all v bright and well cleaned. The area is touristy to some extent with loads of good value eating places including a very popular Hungarian restaurant where you need to book called Getto Gulyas. The area as a whole used to be the Jewish ghetto so the huge synagogue is close by but that meant that the are as a whole is quite run down in appearance. I think that makes it a much more interesting feel than some of the more renovated areas. This apartment block is new enough that it's not shown on Google satellite. Apartment was very clean and well equipped with washing machine and dishwasher. Everything you need for cooking on holiday. Furnished exclusively from Ikea by the looks of it but it felt new and not worn out. Bed is comfortable and on the firm side. So far the is absolutely nothing of any significance wrong with the apartment. Maybe we have been lucky by not being near a stag party. But we've only seen one about town in our stay so far. From our experience we would recommend.

Das New York Palace Hotel in Budapest ist einzigartig! Waren zu zweit mit Kleinkind da & müssen zugeben, dass wirklich alles passt. Von Service bis zu den Räumlichkeiten einfach top! Preis-Leistung hier ist unschlagbar! Die Lage ist nicht die beste, da man in das Zentrum zu Fuß ungefähr 20 Minuten benötigt. Parken kann man dafür in der hoteleigenen Tiefgarage für einen moderaten Preis. Das Personal beim Empfang, im Spa Bereich sowie im Café & in der Bar ist unglaublich zuvorkommend! Unser Zimmer befand sich im alten Gebäudetrackt. Wir waren mehr als zufrieden mit unserem Deluxe Room! Jeden Tag frische sowie qualitative Hygieneartikel & für Sauberkeit wird auch gesorgt. Am Bett fanden sich immer kleine Überraschungen in Form von Pralinen. Lärm von der Straße störte nur mäßig. Das Highlight ist wohl das legendäre Café, in welchem man nebenbei auch frühstückt. Das Buffet hat alles aufgeboten was man sich nur wünschen konnte. Zwar ist der Fitnessraum nicht sonderlich groß, doch es gibt alles was man braucht. Die Geräte wirken neuwertig. Im Spa gibt es einen Pool, eine Dampfsauna & eine Finnische Sauna. Dieser Bereich ist etwas veraltet, weshalb er nun Anfang 2022 renoviert werden soll. Verspätetes Auschecken wird toleriert & für unsere Kleine gab es ein Abschiedsgeschenk. Zufriedener konnten wir nicht sein & daher kommen wir bestimmt wieder. Danke New York Palace!

Als ein Einzelreisender war dieses Hotel großartig. Das Zimmer war geräumig und hatte einen Safe, Kettle Tee, Kaffee und Wasser mit einem Kühlschrank. Die Rezeptoren waren freundlich. Ich habe beschlossen, den Bus zum Stadtzentrum zu nehmen und den Rest des Weges zum Hotel zu gehen ( ca. 20Min. Fuß ). So ist das Hotel etwas aus dem Weg, aber nicht weit von den pubs und Orten zu essen wie die ruinierten Bars, Straßenfutter und Karaván. Es empfiehlt Ihnen sehr, diese ☺️ zu besuchen. So würden Sie wieder in dieses Hotel kommen

The room is clean and spacious. The beds are good. The staff is kind. I would definitely recommend going to this hotel. Only thing is that it’s not one of the closest hotels to the city centre. There is a breakfast bar next to the hotel where you can get some great sandwiches. The WiFi is fast in the hotel. We also did not hear any noise

Hotel hat keinen 4-Sterne Standart, aber für uns war alles in Ordnung. Zimmer schon in die Jahre gekommen. Frühstück war sehr gut…Frühstücksbuffet-Chef Jamar Mohammat ist sehr bemüht und freundlich. Er geht auch auf Extrawünsche ein. Danke an Jamar!!!!

The Florin hotel in Budapest was excellent as was the location. Area 6 is well located to the Jewish quarter and the bohemian area. The hotel is 10 min walk to St Stephen’s church. Trams stop right outside the hotel and main metro station is less than a 10 min walk. For over 65s public transport is free, but is cheap anyway and so easy to get about. Attila, Balint and Lori at reception were great ambassadors for Budapest and the hotel - helpful and friendly. The rooms spacious with a little kitchenette and good bathroom. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Absolut perfekte Lage! Tolles Hotel! Vor der Tür gibt es eine Straßenbahnanbindung und eine Donauschiffanbindung. Zu Fuß erreicht man die Fischerbastei in 5 bis 7 Minuten und das Stadtzentrum in wenigen Minuten über die nächste Brücke. Wir haben ohne zu fragen ein Upgrade bekommen, ein Zimmer mit Blick auf die Donau und auf das Parlament gegenüber, danke! Garage befindet sich unter dem Hotel, diese erreicht man mittels eines Aufzuges (für das Auto), welcher vom Personal bedient wird, also zuerst zur Rezeption!

Schönes Hotel in Toplage mit wirklich extrem freundlichem Personal. Viele Parkplätze direkt davor, allerdings braucht man dafür ungarische Münzen und muss alle drei Std. nachzahlen. Alternativ lässt man sich Strafzettel geben, die man dann gleich beim nahegelegenen Postamt zahlen kann.
