Hier stimmt einfach alles, vom Charakter des liebevoll gestalteten viktorianischen Gebäudes mit einem traumhaften verwunschenen Garten bs hin zu den individuell und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Zimmern. Das absolute Highlight aber sind die Gastgeber selbst. De und Terry kümmern sich mit ganzem Herzen um das Wohlbefinden der Gäste. Angefangen beim super Frühstück, dass Terry jeden Tag frisch und nach Wunsch perfekt zubereitet und De, die mit ihrem fundierten Wissen großartige Hinweise für Trips und Ausflüge aber auch für Restaurants und Pubs geben kann. Wirklich eine traumhafte Zeit, vielen herzlichen Dank!

What a charming and comfortable place to stay in Torquay! We enjoyed every mintue of it, and our hosts Lynn and Paul were so friendly and thoughtful. Centrally located on a quiet street, it's only a 10-15 walk to most of the local attractions. Breakfast was delicious each day, and Lynn was so helpful to us during our stay. I highly recommend Carlton Court for a Devon visit.

Lovely stay here. Rooms were spotless and spacious. Lyn and Paul were exceptional hosts and had great local knowledge and advice for days out. Cockington is well worth a visit and within a walkable distance. I would highly recommend this little gem of a B&B for anyone looking to stay in Torquay.

Beautiful guesthouse Lyn and Paul made us feel very welcome. The room was spotlessly clean and we had everything we needed, the home made flap Jack's were delicious 😋. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice and cooked to perfection.

Just a lovely place to stay. It’s a short walk into the town and parking away from the road which for me is just perfect. We were in the Palms suite. A large bedroom and then a lovely sitting area with off to one end a fridge and hot drinks making facilities, also some home made treats to welcome you to the house. The bathroom was large and the whole house was absolutely beautiful, clean and comfortable. We like to travel and we have been to many places over the last couple of years, this was probably the best place we have been to and we would whole heartedly recommend it to anyone. The hosts are extremely nice people who are friendly and helpful with a breakfast that had even me full for the day. Thank you to you both for a wonderful couple of days and we definitely will try to get back down again soon.

A wonderful hotel. Exceptionally clean with comfy beds allowing for a great nights sleep. Location was perfect, just a short walk away from the seafront with all the restaurants and activities. Delicious breakfast with good choices. Fabulous hosts. Lynne and Paul were amazing, offering suggestions on where to go and visit and to eat. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thank you Lynne and Paul for a fabulous week!

We absolutely love this place and keep coming back year after year! Lynn and Paul are fantastic hosts and the place is absolutely spotless with the best brekkie ever and beds so comfy we never have any problem drifting off after a full on day of exploring. We love the fact that we can just leave the car parked and go everywhere by walking, ferry , bus or train and not too far to walk into town either. It's so quiet at night that you don't hear a thing. Your in for a treat if you stay here and we wouldn't ever book anywhere else now in Torquay as we've found our perfect spot! Thank you Lynn and Paul for another perfect break x

Have stayed at Carlton Court numerous times over the years & the experience has aways been first class. Returned yesterday after introducing another couple to the Carlton for the weekend & they said what a gem of a place. A credit to the owners Lynn & Paul.
