We only had two days in Manila for the grand finale of our honeymoon before heading back to China. The vibe? Total luxury. We crashed at Discovery Primea, right in the heart of Makati. Our room was spacious, super comfy, and the 24/7 room service was basically a honeymoon dream come true 😂. Just outside the hotel, you're spoiled for choice: a lush park for morning strolls, tons of restaurants, and a massive shopping mall (Glorietta Mall, Ayala Center, Makati—open daily from 10AM to 9PM). We hit up the supermarket inside for a Filipino snacks haul, so our suitcase was loaded with local goodies for the trip home. Why we liked it: - Perfect central location—steps from cafes, shops, and all the action - Rooms are big and super comfy, with ultra-soft beds - Everything is spotless! Clean and fresh vibes everywhere - Loads of restaurants around Discovery Primea—just stroll and pick whatever looks tempting - Stock up on Filipino snacks at Glorietta Mall for the perfect souvenir 📌 Tips - Grab rides are easy and safe—plus, you can pay with Alipay - Don’t stress over the service in some spots, just chase the good food! - Discovery Primea is super convenient for both exploring Makati and chilling out - Double check your bill for extra charges at hotels or restaurants, just in case

Dies ist mein zweiter Aufenthalt auf der Manila-Halbinsel. Ich war einmal in 18 Jahren hier. Das Zimmer wurde renoviert, aber es hat sich nicht viel verändert. Der Service an der Rezeption ist immer noch effizient und freundlich. Die Qualität des Frühstücks ist auch recht gut, aber es gibt viele westliche Speisen und sehr wenige chinesische Speisen. Überraschenderweise war der Service im Foyer, der in der Vergangenheit beeindruckend war, zu einem günstigen Preis. Nachdem unser Auto angekommen war, waren viele Träger da, aber niemand half uns, die Tür zu ziehen oder das Gepäck mitzunehmen eine große Kappe an der Tür Okay, aber jetzt, wo sich die Person verändert hat, rede ich nur noch mit mir selbst und öffne die Tür nicht für den Gast. Später half uns ein Sicherheitsmann beim Tragen unseres Gepäcks. Das gleiche Serviceproblem trat auch bei der jungen Dame auf, die beim Frühstück Platz nahm. Sie sah so arrogant und enttäuschend aus. In professionellen Hotels werden Verdunkelungsvorhänge leider so hergestellt! ! !

Checking in to this hotel was smooth. The staff was friendly and understood our concerns. They even upgraded our room to an apartment which was fabulous! Logging in to their internet was a bit confusing though because the lady at the front desk forgot to mention where we suppose to enter the credentials. The room was homey but with a little smell that's still tolerable. The food in the breakfast buffet was okay. But the good thing about this hotel is the malls downstairs. Very accessible

Ein gepflegtes, sauberes Hotel. Das Frühstück ist gut und bietet eine große Auswahl. Eine Kaution wird erhoben. Das Personal ist zuvorkommend. Der Pool im 19. Stock bietet einen wunderschönen Blick über die Stadt.

Was given a room without bidet and hair dryer, AC and fridge not cold and visible moulds in the ceiling. The room is quite old and does not befit of 5 star status. I was relocated to a better room after giving this feedback but just wondering why they still give this kind of room to their guest? The hotel has seen its better times and quite jaded. I have to say that the hotel staff service is good, friendly and accommodating typical of Filipino renowned hospitality.

Der Personal war sehr freundlich und das Frühstück wird im Lobby-Café empfohlen (bestes Essen haben wir auf unserer Reise!). Unser Zimmer war geräumig mit einem riesigen komfortablen Bett und AC. Der TV verbindet mit YouTube, Netflix usw. Wenn Sie gerne etwas auf der gleichen Zeit im Zimmer haben. Wir waren uns vor dem Aufenthalt bewusst, dass in einem gebauten Bereich, das bedeutete, dass Sie das Geräusch draußen hören konnten, und das hat uns überhaupt nicht stört. Die Dusche war kalt und ich bin sicher, wir hätten gedacht, dass das Personal es repariert hätte oder das Zimmer verändert hätte. Aber es war eigentlich eine sehr willkommene Ruhe von dem muggen heißen Wetter!

Geeignet für Touristenunterkünfte, der Preis ist mittelgroß und die Entfernung nach Makati, Manila, Pasay und Mandaluyong ist ungefähr gleich. Der Nachteil ist, dass nicht genügend Toilettenpapier im Zimmer ist und Sie mehr mitbringen müssen. Beim Reinigen, Sie müssen das Hotel daran erinnern, die Fußmatten und Badetücher auszutauschen.

Ich habe im Leez Inn übernachtet und gearbeitet. Mein Zimmer verfügte über eine schnelle Internetverbindung. Der Service war sehr schnell, und das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es ist eine komfortable Unterkunft mitten in Makati, mit zahlreichen Restaurants und Bars in der Nähe sowie vielen preisgünstigen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Es war kurz und bündig. Es ist ein Familientreffen an einem Wochenende und dennoch so unvergesslich. Der Ort hat sich nicht verändert, seit wir das letzte Mal hier gebucht haben. Die Zimmer sind sauber und geräumig. Es gibt ein Sofa, auf dem man Snacks essen kann, und sogar einen Arbeitsbereich, da wir von zu Hause aus arbeiten. Es gibt einen Innenpool für die Kinder und die Skyline von Makati ist aus dem riesigen Fenster zu sehen. Alles, was wir brauchten, ist bereits da und der Service ist auch hervorragend!!!

Situated in the heart of Makati and just a block away from Ayala Avenue, it strikes a pleasant balance between accessibility and quiet. You’re close enough to be in the middle of everything, yet tucked away from the busiest streets. Greenbelt, countless restaurants, cafés, convenience stores, and shopping options are literally just a short walk away. For travelers looking to unwind after a long day, there are several massage establishments nearby, and even in-house massage services are available, making it particularly convenient for guests staying a few days or longer. The building itself is undeniably old. Not neglected, not unsafe, and certainly not dilapidated—but old in the way many well-built structures are. You can tell it has decades behind it. In fact, it feels like one of those older buildings that have simply endured better than some newer developments. If you’re expecting sleek contemporary aesthetics, this may not be your first choice. If you’re primarily interested in practicality and location, the age becomes less important. The elevator situation deserves mention. During my stay, only one elevator was operational while another was undergoing upgrades. The functioning elevator is manually operated and has a charmingly old-school character—including a ceiling fan. Surprisingly, it was more efficient than elevators in some much newer buildings I’ve visited. Guests simply contact reception when they need the elevator to stop at their floor. It sounds unusual on paper but worked smoothly in practice. The room itself was exactly what I needed: clean, comfortable, and functional. The shower, toilet, and sink were all well-maintained with reliable water pressure and both hot and cold water available. The air-conditioning cooled the room effectively, Wi-Fi was dependable, and the television offered a respectable selection of channels. I also appreciated the practical amenities: a stove with kitchen ventilation, microwave, refrigerator, electric kettle, and an in-room safety box. The windows face the courtyard side of the property, allowing natural daylight into the room. The staff were professional, courteous, and efficient throughout my stay. If your priority is finding a safe, convenient, and comfortable place to rest while spending most of your time exploring Makati, I would happily recommend Prince Plaza II Condotel. In fact, given its location and room amenities, it could also work quite well for longer stays.
