Yyhf9696the room is tiny but clean。it is around 8min to raiway station by walk and good service with quiet envirment。especially bteakfast is tradional and wonderful and recommended to you.

Rrockylee1. Das Hotel befindet sich in einer sehr guten Lage, der Weg zum Schiffshafen ist in 10 Minuten. Es gibt viele Restaurants in der Nähe und die Speisen sind sehr bequem. Das Zimmer ist groß, es gibt einen Wohnzimmer, überraschend, aber der Wohnzimmer ist am Bett, neben der Straße, einige Schmutzstücke früh und Nacht, insbesondere die britische Autogeschwindigkeit ist im Allgemeinen schneller und etwas beachtenswert. Frühstück ist vorbereitetes Brot, Joghurt, Milch und andere, manche im Kühlschrank, manche im Lagerhaus, nicht zu viel erwarten.

Lovely and warm but we could turn the radiators down if we wanted to. Great views across the fields. Would come back thanks for having us!

GGastnutzerLovely hotel room was smaller than expected and also the bathroom but it had everything we needed and was lovely and clean the breakfast was lovely catered for my gluten intolerance and the staff were really lovely especially Olivia who served us drinks for both nights nothing was too much trouble for her would highly recommend and we will be back

GGastnutzerRum Doodle, well it was our first time at The Lakes and it certainly won't be our last! The location was just right with being part way between Windermere town and Bowness and was walkable to both. There were plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in walking distance as well as lake Windermere itself.
We found Rum Doodle with ease and was greeted at the door with a smile and friendly man (the owner but didn't catch his name). We were bought a fresh glass of apple and orange juice to our room which was refreshing after a long drive to Windermere. Our room was comfy, not too big or too small, a wardrobe, seating in the bay window, hairdryer, hot drink making facilities, wine glasses with cork screw and bottle opener. Very modern, clean and well presented bathroom with soft and fluffy towels, and a really nice shower. The bed was very comfortable and welcomed after a busy day exploring the surrounding area.
Breakfast was really good with cereal, fresh fruit and yogurt, toast, and then a choice of breakfast which were great too.
We had a pleasant and informative chat at breakfast with the lady that works there who gave us the heads up on some driving routes to try and avoid which was really useful.
After a day out exploring we went back to Rum Doodle to a cleaned room and freshly made bed with the tea and coffee replenished, so we were able to just drop and the bed with a nice cuppa and biscuit. Then out for a walk, some lovely food and a couple of drinks.
We couldn't recommend The Lakes and Rum Doodle enough! Well worth every penny

GGastnutzerDas Zimmer ist sehr schön, die Umgebung ist wunderschön, die öffentliche Gegend des Jugendhotels hat Bücher, die kostenlos gelesen werden können und auch öffentliche Wohlfahrtsorganisationen bezahlen können. Der Ladenmitarbeiter ist enthusiastisch und ehrlich, erlebt gute Erfahrungen, die einzige Mängel ist die schlechte Sound-Effizienz.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und komfortabel. Das Obst war reichlich vorhanden und der Hotel-Concierge war sehr gut, mit einem großen und einem kleinen Bett Das kleine Bett ist ein kleines Zimmer und eignet sich sehr gut für Familienreisen.

KK1R4N_2024Das Hotel war Gastgeber mit sehr freundlichem Personal aber Lage weise es war ziemlich weit von den Orten, die ich besuchen möchte, aber es war nahe dem Stadtzentrum mit vielen Hallenrestauranten wie Lake raj. Insgesamt war es ein angenehmer Aufenthalt!!!

I was most dissatisfied with a male waiter, his attitude was particularly bad, I suspect he was a ******, his attitude was really bad, I have stayed in so many places in the world in hotels and B&Bs, this male waiter's attitude was the worst, I entered the staff area is my fault, but I entered from the restaurant, there is no staff only to enter the prompts, the male waiter kicked me out like a dog, I felt I was insulted.The waiter shooed me out like a dog, I felt insulted, it seems that the quality of the British people really needs to be improved.
