We chose this hotel primarily for its proximity to the Shantou railway station. The night prior, we stayed at a nearby Hampton but had a disappointing experience, so this was our first stay with a local Chinese chain brand. Check-in was smooth and efficient, although no English was spoken at the front desk. We had requested a higher-floor, quieter room via WeChat in advance and were initially assigned Room 602. Upon entering, the room appeared clean and well-maintained. However, we encountered an unusual and inconvenient issue with the Wi-Fi. Guests are instructed to turn on the TV to access the Wi-Fi password, but we discovered that the TV must remain on in order for the Wi-Fi to function. This was confirmed by multiple staff members, including what appeared to be a front desk supervisor. This setup was quite disruptive, as the TV screen is bright and cannot be dimmed, and the work desk is positioned directly in front of it. To their credit, Ms. Lin—responded promptly and offered to move us to another room (also 602, but with a different layout). The new layout was more practical, with the desk positioned at a 90-degree angle from the TV, which helped mitigate the issue somewhat. That said, the second room had its own drawback: there was a noticeable gap in the window, which allowed in road noise. Since we stayed over the weekend, traffic noise and honking were quite noticeable at night. In addition, we heard neighbors chatting and laughing past midnight. Lotion could be a nice addition too. A small humidifier with scented oil definitely gave a zen touch. Aside from these two issues (Wi-Fi dependency on the TV and sound insulation), the overall stay was comfortable. As a gesture of goodwill, the hotel provided complimentary breakfast. While we are not typically breakfast eaters, we did try the noodle station. The offerings were entirely Chinese-style. One suggestion would be to label the protein options more clearly (in Chinese or English), as we observed multiple guests asking staff about them—one of which turned out to be pig’s heart. Overall, this was a good introduction to a Chinese domestic hotel brand. I learned that they got a few locations in Europe. While there are areas for improvement, particularly in technology setup and soundproofing, the service recovery effort and general room quality made for a satisfactory stay.

A solid, modern choice for a short trip. The property is fresh and has some really cool features, like the robot that delivers food directly to your doorstep—it's a very convenient and cool touch. Highlights: Love the dual-pillow options (soft/hard) and the 24-hour front desk that helps manage the laundry for you. We were also grateful for the free room extension until 1 PM. Drawbacks: No ground-floor staff to help with bags since the lobby is on Level 2. Wi-Fi signal is weak, and the breakfast is the same every day (though there are many eateries nearby). Smells: You’ll notice the wet market smell outside and the strong essential oil scent in the lobby, but it’s manageable since you aren't at the hotel lobby all day.

Location is great, walk out of hotel its their local street. Room is clean/ bed is enough for 3 pax. Spacious for big luggage. Would.come back again.

The hotel is wonderful, the service, the interiors, and literally everything. BUT. There are a few annoying little things: a corporate video with a song constantly plays in the elevator and lobby, and after several uses a day, it literally gets stuck in my head. It irritates me that someone is recording songs in my head without my knowledge. The light controls in the room are very inconvenient - they are very bright and turn on by themselves with the slightest movement. The bright light at night disrupts my sleep, and it literally irritates and infuriates me when it is constantly on. I am also irritated by the TV, which turns on every time I enter the room. I don't like any unnecessary details that disrupt my focus and distract me. I have to spend an extra action to find the remote and turn it off. Also, during cleaning, the staff throws away my disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste every day. This is yet another unnecessary action that I have to do to brush my teeth - open a new package, open a tube of toothpaste, and do this every day.

Die bequeme Lage ist ein weiterer wichtiger Vorteil; in der Nähe einer Vielzahl von lokalen und internationalen Mahlzeiten, das Gebäude ist nur ein 10-minute Taxifahrt vom Hochgeschwindigkeitsbahnhof und dem größten Einkaufsviertel in der Region. Dies macht es perfekt für die kulinarische Erforschung und die Einzelhandelstherapie. Ein schöner Fokus meines Aufenthalts war das komplimentäre Zimmer-Frühstück für zwei. Hierzu gehörten leckere chinesische Dämmersumme neben der süßen und salzigen Sojamilch, die einen wunderbaren Anfang für den Tag bietet. Während es kein konventionelles Fernsehen in der Wohnung gibt, bietet die Anwesenheit eines Projektors, der in-app-Filme und Screen-Spiegel für Apple- und Android-Geräte unterstützt, eine einzigartige und angenehme Alternative für Unterhaltung. Zusätzlich wurde die Wohnung mit einer angemessenen Anzahl von Gästen ausgestattet und mit Bad und einem komfortablen Aufenthalt ausgestattet. Allerdings gab es einige Unzulänglichkeiten, die Aufmerksamkeit berechtigten. Eine bedeutende Besorgnis war die extrem schleifende Badezimmerboden, die Sicherheitsrisiken aufwerfen könnte. Die Zugabe einer Anti-Schleifmatt würde die Sicherheit der Gäste erheblich verbessern. Außerdem fand ich den Warmwasserspeicher etwas ungünstig, vor allem im Winter. 20 Minuten warten auf heißes Wasser nach jeder Dusche war frustrierend, vor allem für diejenigen, die längere Duschen bevorzugen. Schließlich könnte der Eincheckungsprozess als Wohnung ohne Empfangsbereich von klareren Anweisungen profitieren. Ein einfacherer Guide für Gäste wäre vorteilhaft. Abschließend möchte ich sagen, dass die Unterkunft zwar zahlreiche attraktive Merkmale bietet, die Behebung dieser festgestellten Nachteile würde die allgemeine Erfahrung der Gäste erheblich verbessern.

I was very impressed by this hotel albeit just outside the main area of the town, a slow walk of 2 kilometres. The reception was very efficient in checking us in and allocate our room on the 10th floor. The room was large by the standards we were accustomed to in the West, whilst the bed was just right and very comfortable. The costs of our 2 night stay was incrediblely cheap with breakfast by any standard albeit Chaoyang isn't a 1st line city. The service we got was second to none, especially the night front desk lady - Suki Li and the day front desk young man - Alan Cheng. They bent over backward to help especially with my limited putonghua by conversing in Cantonese instead. They helped with taxi bookings when I could not because of I didn't have a local mobile number plus trying to use the automated vending machine which was QR coded as per norm in China. Breakfast was a mixture of oriental and western food. I was glad that the hotel has decent English breakfast tea unlike many others that we had stayed in, in additonal, the self service coffee machine can produce a decent coffee that satisfied the wife ( 2 shots of expresso plus 1 flat white or 1 Americano). The only complaint I have was that there is no milk power or fresh milk available in the room for making tea or coffee, it's one issue that the hotel management should consider in the near future. Overall, the hotel was cleaned and modern. I have no hesitation in recommend it.

Mein Zimmer fühlte sich frisch, gemütlich und einladend, mit bedenklichen Touchs, die die Pflege und Aufmerksamkeit in tägliche Aufbewahrung zeigten. Das Hausbetreuungsteam hat eine erstaunliche Arbeit geleistet, und ich habe ihre Dringlichkeit und Kohärenz während meines Aufenthalts wirklich geschätzt. Die Lage ist auch ein großer Highlight – günstig gelegen in der Nähe der wichtigsten Attraktionen in der alten Stadt Shantou, Essensmöglichkeiten, aber ruhig genug für einen ruhigen Schlaf der Nacht. Es machte es unermüdlich, die Gegend zu erkunden, und ich konnte einfach wieder zum Hotel für eine schnelle Ruhe zurückkehren, bevor ich wieder ausreisen konnte. Die Einrichtungen waren modern, gut ausgestattet und sorgfältig für Freizeit und große Familien. Von den hilfsbereiten Lounge-Gebieten bis zu den privaten VIP-Großzimmer-Einrichtungen und Innenräumen war alles in Ordnung, um meinen Aufenthalt sowohl angenehm als auch produktiv zu machen. Insgesamt war meine Erfahrung hier nichts weniger als ausgezeichnet. Es ist selten, einen Ort zu finden, der konsequent auf allen Fronten – Reinigung, Service, Lage und Ausstattung –, aber dieses Hotel wirklich tut. Ich danke Ihnen ganzen Team für ihre Entschlossenheit und Freundlichkeit. Ich würde nicht zögern, dieses Hotel an jemanden zu empfehlen, der das Gebiet besucht, und ich freue mich auf die Rückkehr in der Zukunft.

Umgeben von grünem Bambus ist das klassische chinesische Design einfach unwiderstehlich. Die Rituale im Chaoshan-Stil des Hotels sind erstklassig 💯. Die Zimmer sind mit einem kompletten Kung-Fu-Teeservice ausgestattet, sodass Sie den entspannten Alltag der Chaoshan-Bewohner 🍵 erleben können. Abends werden Workshops zum Selberbacken von rotem Pfirsichkuchen angeboten (nach Vereinbarung). Das Frühstücksbuffet ist ein wahrhaft authentisches Chaoshan-Erlebnis! Das Hotel bietet außerdem ein spätes Barbecue an, das einfach köstlich ist! Die Zimmer verfügen über Smart-Home-Systeme, und Bad und WC sind in Nass- und Trockenbereiche unterteilt! Ein rundum komfortabler Aufenthalt! Die Verkehrsanbindung ist einfach traumhaft! Nur 10 Gehminuten von der Zhujiang Road Food Street entfernt. Innerhalb von 20 Autominuten erreichen Sie Sehenswürdigkeiten wie den Anleger auf der Insel Nan'ao, den Xiaogongyuan-Park und die Universität Shantou 🚗. Verbringen Sie den Tag mit Erkunden, Essen und Trinken und kehren Sie anschließend für eine erholsame Nachtruhe in das ruhige und elegante Hotel zurück. So genießen Sie Ihren Urlaub perfekt!

The service was terrible. We stayed for two days. When we checkin on the first day at around 4pm, the room was not clean up and they staff said they were very busy that day and asked us to wait at the lobby. On the second day, we came back at around 5pm after a whole day tour, the same situation happen. No housekeeping was done. Same excuse given to us . This is one of the worst accommodation I have stayed in China. The staff are not welcoming.

Schöne Ausstattung, moderne Infrastruktur und zeitgemäße Zimmer. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Das westliche Frühstück war eher enttäuschend und beschränkte sich auf etwas Obst, Brot und Omelett – nicht einmal Tee oder Kaffee waren vorhanden. Waschservice und Wäscheservice sind nicht verfügbar. Eine Waschmaschine steht zwar im zweiten Stock zur Selbstnutzung bereit, aber die im Angebot genannten kostenlosen Leistungen werden nicht angeboten. Insgesamt ein guter Aufenthalt.
