Das Kronwell ist ein stlyisches, modernes Hotel in Brasov. Leider ist die Lage nicht optimal - du musst immer mit Uber noch in die City fahren, um Fun zu haben, für jeweils aber bezahlbare 3 EUR pro Strecke. Das Zimmer war chic, die Betten sind sensationell. Leider sind die Lichtschalter subptimal. Du musst immer 10 mal tippen, bis du die Funktion ausgelöst hast, die du willst. Leselicht am Bett? Fehlanzeige! Licht am Waschtisch im Bad? Auf der falschen Seite, dort wo du dich rasierst, bist du im Dunkeln. Da war definitiv kein Hotel-Profi am Werk beim Interior Design! Die Fächer im Bad für Fön, Toilettenpapier oder Müll sind hingegen top, eine Empfehlung für andere Hotels. So ist alles immer ausser Sichtweite gut verstaut. Der Pool kostet extra für Hotelgäste, was ich hasse. In unserer Buchung war das allerdings bereits vermerkt mit 10 EUR pro Gast und Besuch. Abkassiert wurden dann allerdings 12 EUR - das ist nicht fair. Und Sie sollten sich diesen Besuch im Pool auch sowieso schenken. Bei uns war abends Kinderparty mit 20 Kids im Pool, die Ballspiele machten. Da sollte Kronwell auch - wie z.B. die Soho House Hotels - dafür sorgen, dass Kids nach 18 h zu Hause bleiben. Sonst kommt für den Geschäftsreisenden Null Entspannung auf. Das Frühstück war hingegen sehr gut, toll die Früchte mit griechischem Joghurt oder auch das Chia Samen Breakfast. Last not least: ein modernes, gut ausgestattetes Hotel, aber die Details sind durchaus noch ausbaufähig!

Alles war wunderbar. Sie haben viele Einrichtungen, darunter Waschmaschine, Backofen und Parkplatz. Hohe Qualität für diesen Preis.

Great hotel in the best location. Very quiet location just 2 minutes from the main square, perfect to visit all the main tourist attractions. We stayed in room 23, which is on the top floor with views across the roof tops and to the mountains. Very bright and sunny room with no-one looking in on you, definitely recommend if you don't mind a few stairs. Staff were very helpful and all spoke excellent english. Breakfast good- toast, cereal, bacon, eggs erc. If you want english breakfast tea take your own teabags. Brasov itself is fabulous. Very clean, safe, friendly city with loads of great cafes and restaurants. Definitely visit Peles Castle and Bran Castle. Also go up in the cable car and enjoy a lovely walk down through the woods. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this hotel.

This is a standard three-star hotel, but very well located and very close to the Black Church. Although facing a busy square, the rooms facing inside are quiet. The hotel has air-conditioned and a restaurant, but does not have an elevator. Thus, be ready to carry your own baggage up the stairs. The room was medium size and the bathroom towards the smaller size. There are many restaurants in the area and bars nearby. A drawback is that the hotel has no parking spaces nor it is even possible for taxi or other transportation to stop and to let you off at the hotel's entrance as the police nearby will ticket if improperly parked. Be ready to carry or wheel your luggage in order to get to the hotel.

Das erste Problem ist, auf der Ebene der Wohnstätte zu stehen, keine Parkplätze, keine Verpflegung.... Le tout dans une rue très passante... on se gare sur le trottoir comme on peut, bloquant les pieds, super... récupération des clés de l'appartement et des clés du chaînes pour le parking plus loin après dépôt des bagages dans leur local. Suite nicht in der Höhe unserer Erwartungen, Blick auf den Hof, entfernt von den angekündigten 70 m2, alter, retauchter Parkplatz, müde Möbel, eigentlich zwei Zimmer mit einer Kommunikationstür. Nicht einmal ein einfaches Kaffeekocher... Frühstück in einem anderen Hotel von 100m, keine Top überhaupt, einfache Produkte, Erstpreis Fruchtsäfte, Schalenfrüchte und Käse. Pouco de frutas, no de produits laitiers à part un fromage blanc écrémé, que du bonheur... une impression au total d’amateurisme et d’optimisation, se méfier des belles images proposées sur les sites. Es stimmt, dass es in der Mitte befindet, Aufmerksamkeit auf die Straße jedoch. Mit etwas Forschung, sicherlich besser anderswo.

Neues Hôtel in Brasov, freundlicher und kompetenter Empfang, saubere schöne Zimmer mit angenehmen Ambiente. À la carte Frühstück köstlich und rasch bedient. Die Unterstützung bei meinem Gepäckverlust war hervorragend. Ich werde wieder im Qosmo Hotel in Brasov übernachten.

Wir hatten ein großes geräumiges Zimmer, das Kaffee-/Tee-Herstellungseinrichtungen umfasste. Das Badezimmer war sauber und die Dusche effizient. Unser einziges Problem war die Wärme des Zimmers, das sie ein Problem hatten, um sich anzupassen, da das Zimmer sehr warm und reichlich war. Ich denke, es war für den Winter geplant, der noch nicht angekommen war. Das Frühstück war kontinental, das Essen war sauber und die Tische waren geräumig arrangiert. Das Personal war freundlich, effizient und hilfsbereit

We chose Aro Palace for our trip to Brasov first and foremost due its excellent location, about 10 minutes away (walking) from the main square in the old city center, Piata Sfatului. We had a very good 4-night stay, although when we arrived we were disappointed because the hotel and the rooms are somewhat dated (both the furniture as well as the walls, carpets, decorations etc) and didn’t look as new and fancy as we would have liked. However, the hotel staff was very helpful and quickly solved our requests, so in the end we decided the pros outweight the cons and managed to have a lovely time. The rooms are large and comfortable, if you look past the dated aspect, and they are equipped with everything a 4-star hotel should provide its guests. A few things here though: 1) our room did not have enough outlets, and none was available next to the nightstands - perhaps this is something the management could take into account for the next renovation; 2) there is no information in the rooms about the room service menu or the hotel amenities - I think having that sort of information available via a smart TV like most modern hotels have nowadays would be a big plus. 3) there is no place to leave towels and bathing suits to dry - the hotel has an optional room cleaning policy, which is quite nice and thoughtful to the environment, however, without a proper way to dry towels and bathrobes so that they can be reused, you are forced to ask for these to be refreshed daily. 4) the rooms and especially the bathrooms should be cleaned a little bit better - this is subjective, but in my opinion, comparing to similar hotels in the same price range I’ve stayed at, others do a much better job at cleaning mold and grime from all surfaces. On the bright side, the breakfast was very good, quality ingredients and excellent coffee - definitely better that similar hotels in the same price range. The rooms are equipped with Nespresso coffee machines, which is nice but also quite surprising, due to the contrast with the old-fashioned decor. We didn’t use the spa but we visited the pool - there are actually two, a small one for kids, that seemed to be heated, and a larger one, very decent size, that starts at 1.3 meters and reaches 2+ meters in depth at the far end. The spa & pool are not reserved for hotel guests only, and when we visited there was a group of people taking swim lessons and some college kids hanging around. The elevator takes you directly to the pool, which is good because you don’t need to parade in your bathrobe and slippers through the main lobby (unlike other hotels). As a downside, the pool area could be cleaned better as well - the small pool had areas on the bottom where black grime was visible between tiles. The hotel has 4 elevators, which meant we never had to wait for more than a few seconds. The WiFi had decent speed and coverage throughout the hotel. First things first - booked online, pictures looking great , upon arrival the situation changed slightly ... even that we booked the 4 star section of the hotel and we got the room there (it has a 3 star section also, but I doubt I want to know how that is looking like after seeing the 4 star room), but yes you pay like for a 4 star hotel - and in Brasov in the summer - end of July, full holidays season is not a small amount I can tell you. Still , it was suiting a purpose - we only spent 3 nights here so it is not the end of the world. A few ”minuses” - dated furniture showing signs of wear, a slight musty scent despite of the odorants used during house keeping, the minibar overpriced like beyond belief plus the door of the small fridge was not closing properly unless you ”persuaded” it a little bit, shower booth very small by any standard, very average breakfast - to say the least- if spend more than a few days here you just give up on it in have breakfast in the city, plus during breakfast the tables were cleaned between customers with great delay, staff was more busy with their morning chat (and making some very unappropriated comments in Romanian about some Muslim guests attending breakfast - not all your customers are foreigners people! be a bit careful with your tongues.) Some ”pluses” - the room was spacious, the beds were comfortable nothing to complain, hotel was not noisy from my perspective, free parking and we could always find a spot to park, supermarket 2 minutes walking from the hotel, historical center very close to the hotel , 10-12 minutes walk and you are there, they got breakfast, even that is boring and limited in options, at least you got something, very fast check in and check out. And the tropical fish tank in the lobby area is excellent! Overall not a bad option, not 4 star from my perspective - I've seen hotels on 5 continents - this is not 4 ... more like 3-ish ... price to quality ratio needs improvement... still we had a good stay , we only needed a place to sleep and shower so it suited the purpose since the majority of time we were out of the room.
