Hotel Bella Muzica

We only ate at the restaurant. We booked a table for 6 (incl children) specifically mentioning on the phone “in the nice basement you have”. When we got there we were surprised they gave us a table upstairs in the breakfast area where we were all alone no music nothing, with waiter coming only every 30 mins to check. Like “we are overbooked hm move them upstairs where nobody is and that’s it if they wanna stay or leave fine whatever”. In food, have was good but half was nothing special just plain mediocre. There are too many awesome places in Brasov to eat at, we will not go here again to waste time and be treated like this again.

I spent a weekend exploring Transylvania while in Bucharest on business and stayed at Bella Muzica. Online booking via email was painless and the responsiveness was excellent. I arrived Saturday evening and parked at a parking lot just past the hotel on the left beyond the Black Church. It was a short walk down and across the street to the hotel. Service was prompt and the room was quaint, clean and comfortable. It was on an upper floor and did not have a view as the windows were on the side of the roof and cranked out. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was small but did the trick. I made it a point to eat in the cellar restaurant which did not disappoint. Service was prompt and the food was very good. I got a mixed grill of various meats and potatoes as well as a local beer. The only unusual thing was that I ordered a salad and it was served with the main course, not before. The setting was unbelievable. Breakfast the next morning was in the breakfast room on the 1st floor and had a wide selection of fresh items. The only downside was that the orange juice likely needed to be refilled. The location of the hotel is right off the town square and you are able to walk across the street and see all of the sites. I wish my stay was longer but will hope to visit again in the future.

Lovely hotel in Brasov centre. The centre is right across the street, with various restaurants. The room was very spacious and clean, and i love the beautiful decoration in the hotel. The hotel doesn't offer parking, but there is a paid parking about 3 minutes from the hotel.

We had a great stay in this hotel. It is really well located…across the street from the main square and close to restaurants and shopping. The room is well appointed, clean and a good size. Breakfast offered a decent selection and variety. We had no complaints.

If your preferred style is sleek and modern, this hotel won’t be for you. It is definitely classic, with a charming, but faded, ambiance. Our first impressions were good. It is well located, close to the main square, the Black Church and Brasov’s great restaurants. The reception staff were terrific, really helpful and friendly and keen to help with our bags (there is no lift/elevator). We found our inward facing room nice and quiet, but a bit gloomy. Some of the furniture had seen better days, but the bed was very comfortable and the linens good quality. The bathroom was a bit dark and the shower was small. However, everything was very clean and water pressure was good. Coffee and tea making was provided on request. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was excellent. Overall, a good place to stay.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Right by the square in Brasov. Rooms were fine but we were on the third floor (no lift) with roof windows, and it rained heavily. A bit like sleeping in a caravan but not the hotel’s fault. Everything very clean. Breakfast was fine. We only stayed one night before moving on with our tour.
