Washer and dryer (quarter machines) are available on the parking area of the condominium.Conveniently situated on the elevated first floor, you can relax on the balcony and hear the beach waves roll day and night. The balcony faces East and is fully shaded by noon.The tide shifts constantly throughout the year. Usually during the summer months, the ocean recedes to expose over 60 feet of beach sand. In winter, the waves move closer and cover half the inclined steps at the rear building access. Because of the topography, this perennial variety of ocean views is a unique feature in this unit! Pine groove beach is just steps away from the apartment.NEIGHBORHOOD Plan your luxurious vacation and travel to the best beaches in Puerto Rico. You will be within walking distance of Pine Grove Beach, Carolina Beach, Playa Isla Verde, and Balneario Isla Verde (Playa el Alambique / Hobie beach). Watersport equipment rentals, umbrellas, and the food and beverage merchants are widely available at all these beaches.Our unit has one assigned compact car parking that is visible from the balcony. If you plan to rideshare, we are just 5 minutes away from San Juan International Airport; 15 minutes away from the Condado area; and just 20 minutes away from Old San Juan. The apartment is fully renovated and has excellent cross-ventilation. Please use the air conditioner responsibly. While a brief power outage is common in Puerto Rico, the appliances are protected from spikes in electricity.The building perimeter has LED lighting and 24-hour security surveillance cameras. The surrounding area uses red lights at night, so as not to disturb our sea turtles that come to nest on the beach. Pool permanently closed.THE SPACEo 543 square foot studio.o Located inside the building: ESJ Towers. o The studio is on the 15th floor with the most incredible ocean view to enjoy from the balcony. o There are two beds: one king sized bed and a Twin-sized pull-out sofa that fits one. o You will have access to a fully equipped kitchen. GUEST ACCESSo You can store your luggage free of charge at the lobby. o Access to the beach. Gate is open daily from 7am to 7pm, hours subject to change.o You may park in the building garage. Only one vehicle allowed.o No pool access. We currently do NOT have a pool. However, you can book pool day passes for nearby hotels using an app called Resort Pass.o We provide two beach chairs, one umbrella and one cooler for use during your stay. However you can also rent chairs and umbrellas at the beach.o Laundry open daily from 6am to 11pm. Token operated machines. Tokens bought at lobby Monday thru Friday, 9am to 5pm. $3.00 each token, valid for one cycle.OTHER THINGS TO NOTEo We are 5 minutes from SJU airport, 5 minutes from Mall of San Juan, 10 minutes from Convention District, 15 minutes from Cruise Ship Port, 15 minutes from Plaza Las Americas, 25 minutes from Bacardi Rum Plant and 35 minutes from El Yunque Rainforest.o Unfortunately power outages are more common than we like. The building has a back up generator for common areas (such as elevators) but not for our unit. If power goes out, there is nothing we can do. It's just a matter of waiting for it to be restored by the electrical company. o NO cable TV, NO pool access.o We do not have personnel on site therefore we do not replenish towels and/or sheets during your stay. One towel SET per guest for the duration of your stay.o Building repairs are common and are authorized between 10am and 5pm on weekdays.o Important to note that, unfortunately, the next door hotel has A/C rentals that are loud and can be heard from the balcony.
