Im Stadtzentrum von Alt-Belgrad, in der Nähe der Fußgängerzone, ist es sehr praktisch zum Einkaufen und Essen. Zum Kalemegdan Park Zoo sind es zehn Minuten zu Fuß, und es gibt chinesische Restaurants in der Nähe.

I’m really thankful with the staff at the reception. They were very helpful during my late check in, and also gave me good recommendations about where to eat and how to get to some places I was interested in visiting. My stay in Belgrade was very short but if I come back I’ll definitely stay in City Nest Modern & Cosy Suites.

I would highly recommend this hotel. The location is perfect. It is in the city centre. We got a lovely room in the front of the hotel. Big and clean Breakfast was nice. Plenty of choices. I have to say the staff are fantastic. Two members of staff in particular. David is so helpful. I looked for more hangers on the first evening and within two minutes I had another 10 hangers. Later in the week I need laundry bags for packing and a few minutes he got some for me. Nothing is a problem. A very pleasant man that never stops smiling. 😄 Tamara was also very helpful and pleasant Doesn’t that make all the difference when you book into a hotel. You can’t go wrong if you stay here

Das Hotel ist ein schönes, ruhiges Hotel direkt außerhalb des Stadtzentrums (10 Minuten Taxifahrung kostet ca. 900 rsd). Der Pool ist eine große Funktion, wenn das Wetter heiß ist und ich würde dieses Hotel definitiv empfehlen, wenn Sie eine Sommerreise planen. Das Personal war alles fantastisch. Wirklich freundlich und näher. Ich habe eine große Freundschaft mit Petar gemacht und genossen, mit ihm am Pool zu chatten und zu lachen. Er war auch schnell, um uns mit allem zu helfen, was wir brauchten, und tat so schnell und effizient. Eine wirklich wunderbare Reise. Danke!

Das Metropol war einmal mein Lieblingshotel in Belgrad. Ja richtig gelesen: war einmal! Das Hotel hat per 01.01.2023 die Marriott-Gruppe verlassen (und das wird wohl seine Gründe haben!). Vor 2 Monaten hatte ich einen sogenannten Wine-and-dine Aufenthalt gebucht (also Übernachtung inclusive 3-gängigem Dinner im Roof-top-Restaurant und Weinbegleitung). Als wir das Dinner konsumieren wollten, war das Restaurant wegen geschlossener Gesellschaft nicht zugänglich und wir wurden an die Lobby-Bar verwiesen. Dort gab es nur eine ”kleine Karte”. Dort ass ich den mit Abstand schlechtesten Cesar-Salad meines Lebens, der Burger meiner Begleitung war ebenfalls ungenießbar. Das Service schwankt zwischen ”muffig” und überheblich. Beim Frühstücksbuffet herrscht Durcheinander. Das Personal hat keinen Überblick (Zimmerliste). Abgeräumt wird nur sehr zögerlich. Als ich nach Tee fragte, erklärte mir die Kellnerin, dass sich am Tisch ein paar Teebeutel befinden würden. Bei meinem letzten Aufenthalt vor wenigen Tagen war die Situation genau so. Dass das Hotel nicht mehr über Marriott buchbar ist, wird mit keinem Wort erwähnt. Als ich die Rezeptionistin fragte, wo ich in Zukunft buchen sollte, meinte sie lapidar ”Booking”. Na dann: Tschüss! Schade, diesen Qualitiätsabfall mitanzusehen

Sehr gut, die Lage ist sehr gut, unten ist die Fußgängerstraße Mikhailoth Daki Street, ich gehe wo immer bequem, es ist auch bequem zu essen, unser Zimmer ist die Suite ist groß und das Bett ist besonders komfortabel. Nach zwei Tagen in Trip.com buchte ich, wo ich einen Tag wohnte, lebte ich wieder, das Frühstück ist nicht Selbsthilfe, Es gibt zehn Pakete, die Sie wählen können, und es ist immer noch sehr lecker. Von dem Flughafen machen Sie 72 Wege, am Ende gehen Sie zum Hotel nur fünf Minuten. Ich empfehle es.

Das Hotel befindet sich in einem renovierten Altgebäude in der Nähe des Republik Square und der Knez Mihailova Street, die die Haupt Fußgängerstraße in Belgrad ist. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und beide Zimmer und Badezimmer sind sehr sauber und gut gepflegt. Die Kissen, Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind schwach sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und extra hilfreich. Besonders danke, dass Sie zu Sani und Irena für all ihre Hilfe und Unterstützung während meines Aufenthalts ausgehen. Ich empfehle dieses Hotel für jeden, der Belgrad besucht.

My wife and I were excited to be among the earliest visitors to this stunningly renovated hotel. Hotel staff was extremely pleasant and welcoming. Unfortunately, our enthusiasm waned as we discovered that the hotel still has some way to go before we could confidently recommend it to others. Issues started cropping up shortly after check-in. Our key card for the room didn’t work, and took several trips back and forth before it was properly activated. In our room, the air conditioning was non-functional, with the temperature remaining at 26°C / 79°F. Despite bringing this to the attention of multiple staff members, the problem remained unresolved. After an uncomfortable first night of attempting to sleep in a warm room, the hotel offered to change our room. We undertook the task of relocating from the 5th floor to the 2nd floor, only to realize that the AC in the new room wasn't working either, with no solution from the staff. It left us wondering why the room wasn't checked for proper functioning before having us move. In the second room, we noticed peculiar marks on the sheets. Pulling them back, we encountered bugs crawling on the mattress, leaving us feeling repulsed. We checked out, providing the front desk with photos and details of the situation. They offered no support or refund, only an apology and said they’ll call an exterminator. Pros: * Very friendly staff, especially in the restaurant * Excellent inclusive breakfast * Upscale design elements Cons: * Presence of bugs/insects on the mattress (I won't speculate on the type) * Non functioning AC * Showers leak, leading to bathroom flooding * Automatic closet light turns off when opened and remains on when closed, causing light leakage into the room at night * Absence of top sheets on the bed

The short version is that the location is good on the bus route and is within walkable distance of the waterfront and its awesome shopping mall. There is food available on the street in front of the hotel. The hotel meets basic needs. It is dated and tired-looking however for the price I can happily live with that and would gladly stay there again without hesitation. The booking for my teenage daughter and myself went smoothly online. Air Serbia changed our flight and the hotel was able to change our booking accordingly with no fuss. My sister who studies there had stayed there when she first arrived in Belgrade and recommended it. On arrival the driveway is also the parking lot. This means that if coming through with a lot of baggage that it can be a bit of a slalom course making it from the pavement to the front door. If you bring your own car, it means parking is limited and if someone parks behind you it will not be possible to get out without their car being moved. There is and awkward step required to get into the front door which could benefit from a small ramp to help with rolling luggage. The lobby is small and no frills with a small seating area and is adjacent to the dining room. The reception staff were approachable and spoke good English which was a big help as I know almost no Serbian and was struggling to learn it from my efforts before the trip thus, I was limited to a few polite words like please and thank you and unable to make conversation in Serbian. Be aware there is a tourist tax to pay on arrival. There is a small lift which was handy for checking in and checking out with luggage. On moving from the lift to the room there was only a short transit and the room locks worked well. The room was simple and met our needs having ample closet space however no hangers. There was a writing desk which I used for meals and a fridge under the desk which was put to good use during the trip to store food and milk. My balding dome had no need of the hair dryer so I did not try it out. The room overlooked the carpark/driveway and the street which was good enough to allow me to assess how busy the street was and get a sense of the weather. The beds were comfortable however the pillows were not at all plump even when I stacked a couple of them so on my next trip, I will vacuum pack my own pillow from home. The bathroom is where the shabbiness was felt. The sink was not properly fixed to the wall so moved if I pressed on it. The sink was large enough for me to do laundry. There was enough shelf space adjacent to it to store items and for me to hang my medium sized washbag. The shower enclosure was tight to the point of almost being tight and sliding lass doors opened on 2 sides as the only way of getting into and out of it. The doors kept derailing which was the other problem apart from the sink’s instability. There was plenty of hot water and housekeeping provided a good supply of clean plush towels. Плюсов только два.Местположение(центр Белграда). Исторические факты-кроме исторической ,,физитки,, отеля, останавливались и останавливаются мировые известности.И на этом всё.Да вас встречают,да вам помогают,как и положено вещи до номера.А вот номер...это наверное самое интересное...Пол шага вперёд ванная комната,пол шага комната, окно выходит внутр отеля.Откроете резко или по шире дверь в номер,можете попасть в зеркало,шкафа,который за дверью и мини-бар с холодильником тоже в шкафу.В общем номер,для малюток.Да и если вы привыкли или думаете у вас будет вода,её в принципе НЕТ!!! ВСЁ ПЛАТНО!!!А да если вы хотите что-то погладить вещи,вам предложат чуть больше 600 динар,а за скорость чуть больше 900.Зубной щетки нет.Завтраки в принципе пойдут, музыкальное сопровождение,молодцы.Не пускают в пляжной обуви.Да если вы хотите,то попробуйте пирожное Москва,оно только здесь настоящее и да возможно даже ,,попадется,,вам на завтраке, готовят конечно его везде,но здесь именно ОНО))Сами завтраки,нормальные.Стандартные,вы не увидите каких-либо илишек.В общем на твёрдую тройку.Если вы хотите ради интереса,пожить в историческом месте то да, возможно стоит взять номер по больше.Пару дней пожить и найти отель по лучше с обычными условиями проживания.
