Strandhotels in Taormina

Great experience! Everything was really good. We had a room with terass and a view of the sea. It was stunning. Room was very clean and sheets where changed daily, which was nice when you have two dogs that sneak into bed during the night. Location was great. A short distance walk to the town center with shops and restaurants. The parking service was great. They park the car for you and when you need it they will bring the car in front of the hotel within 15 minutes. It will cost you 20€/ night but it's hassle free. Staff is fantastic. We arrived around 6AM (much earlier than expected), and way too early for the normal check-in time. We were absolutely exhausted after a night of driving and our room wasn't ready. But the staff was kind enough to give us a room to sleep in, and at 11AM we could check-in to our booked room. Free of charge! Breakfast was also great and they do packed breakfast if you leave before breakfast time. The hotel doesn't do laundry, but there is a laundry place 800m away.

Die Präsidentensuite des Hotels ist im Grunde die gesamte Fälschung tadellos. Das Zimmer verfügt über einen eigenen Swimmingpool, zwei Schlafzimmer, hohe Privatsphäre und ein hohes Serviceniveau. Auch das Spa des Hotels ist einen Besuch wert, nur um nach dem Schwimmen zu entspannen. Das Hotel verfügt über einen Privatstrand Beim Check-in wird eine kostenlose Inselrundfahrt angeboten und ein Shuttleservice bergauf und bergab wird angeboten. We just had the most wonderful stay at La Plage. We arrived and were seen immediately and offered a drink whilst we checked in. We were then given a tour of the hotel and some information on the local area. We were shown to our room which was a sea front bungalow with a hot tub. Just gorgeous! We had the most beautiful view of Isola Bella. The next morning we were awake before the birds for an excursion to Etna (for my birthday), before we left someone appeared at the door with a birthday cake and a candle. A really lovely touch. Upon our return the ladies who cleaned the rooms stopped by whilst I enjoyed a glass of wine in the hot tub to say hello and sang me happy birthday too! The service was impeccable from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff are AMAZING and so attentive. The food is delicious. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this hotel and the people who work there. Thank you everyone in La Plage for making our stay so perfect. We can’t wait to come back

Das Hotel liegt in einer traumhaften Lage mit Blick auf den Ätna, die Stadt Taormina und das Meer. Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer. Es war sehr klein und bot nur eine eingeschränkte Aussicht, was etwas enttäuschend war, aber ich hatte ja auch nicht viel bezahlt. Der Pool war leider geschlossen, was schade war, denn obwohl es Februar war, war es warm und ich wäre gerne geschwommen. Ich habe nicht im Hotel gegessen, sondern versucht, in der Bar etwas zu trinken. Ich saß etwa 15 Minuten, ohne bedient zu werden, und gab dann auf. Schade, denn es gab Live-Pianomusik. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob der Service besser ist, wenn man mehr bezahlt, oder ob er selbst unter normalen Umständen eher gleichgültig ist. Da Nebensaison war, war das Hotel nicht ausgebucht. Trotzdem ein fantastisches Reiseziel und das Hotel hat eine lange Geschichte – definitiv einen Besuch wert.

Overlooking the Ionian Sea, the Grand Hotel San Pietro is a beautiful hotel with landscaped gardens and excellent amenities. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful and the rooms are well appointed and very comfortable.  Located within a 10-15 minute walk of the shopping and sightseeing area of Taormina, makes this 5 Star hotel an excellent choice.  The staff, as mentioned, are very courteous and helpful - and it is quite easy to become friends with them. Infact, Christian and Loretta (who work in the bar area during the evenings) are 2 staff members that I highly commend - not only for their service but for the exceptional time we spent with them.  This hotel is highly recommended and I certainly look forward to returning in the not too distant future.

Everything was good except for the laundry. We paid 40 euros and our laundry came back still somewhat dirty and not smelling clean. All my white clothes were ruined because they didn't separate. Wasted my money and my clothes. Breakfast was good but repetitive. The service was good, the staff was friendly. The room was cleaned daily and thoroughly. We had a sea view room which was beautiful however it felt so stuffy and humid that it prevented us from sleeping and we were unable to turn on the air conditioning. The walls were so thin that we could hear people outside all night, we could hear the people have breakfast in the morning, and we could hear the opera couple streets over. Location was close enough to the bus and to shops and restaraunts.

Die Landschaft ist sehr schön, die Uhr ist früh und ich habe den Sonnenaufgang aufgenommen. Der Service ist auch sehr gut, das Gepäck wird uns ins Zimmer schicken.

Отель не 4 звезды. Когда открывался, может и были эти звезды для 90х годов, но с тех пор ремонт не делался, судя по всему. Место распоряжение не самое удачное - до Изолы Беллы 15 мин пешком по обочине дороги, до фуникулера - 10 мин. Если выходить из отеля налево, то можно дойти до песчаного пляжа, там народа в разы меньше! Так же есть лестница в город, на такая обхоженная, как от Изолы Беллы, но зато рядом. Завтраки скудные - для 4* совсем скромно. Обслуживание отличное, все довольны, все улыбаются. Кто на машине - с парковкой беда, у отеля 5 машиномест, на дороге на припарковаться. Если повезёт с номером, то шикарный вид на море! У нас был Делюкс, 3ий этаж, тут же выход к бассейну, очень удобно. Сам бассейн небольшой. Кстати, отель находится в тени после 12 дня, соответственно, у бассейна не позагорать. По цене был выигрышнее, но стоит ли того, неуверен.

Conveniently located very close to the Catania airport and only about 7 minutes by car from the historic centre of Catania (when there's no traffic). Our room was very large by the standards of Italian hotels. Everything was pretty new and fresh.

Ein einfaches Hotel für 200 Euro pro Nacht. Es ist eine Spitzensaison, also ist es nicht viel! Ich musste jemand anderes bitten, mein Gepäck zu holen, weil es ein drei-Sterne-Stern war. Aber die Aussicht war großartig, weil es eine Strandaussicht war! Das Frühstück war auch eine tolle Aussicht und ich war glücklich, weil es lecker war! Carmens Service war großartig! Ich denke, es ist der Besitzer ㅎㅎ Aber es war 8 Euro für ein Glas Aperol-Spiralen! Der Abstand war, dass ich etwa 10 Minuten zum Kabelwagen laufen musste. Es gab nicht viele Restaurants rund um, aber ich habe mich gut geruht! Das Foto veröffentlicht ist das Foto der Nahrung, die auf der Terrasse des Ortes zum Frühstück ㅋㅋ geliefert wird.
